He should have threatened to kill all world leaders if they kept looking for him.

He never wore a guy fox mask and went online threatening the world on an anonymous image board

He didn't go after ISIS first.

L got killed off.

Got to caught up in his gay LARPing instead of just killing people

Protagonist was an unrelatable twat with a god complex. Show was only worth watching to see how karma would catch up with him, he should have been the antagonist and everything starts at L's point of view so the audience doesn't know who Kira really is.

everything, anime is an anti-art media.

*tips*

>anti-art
Lmao it's this pretentious fuck again

...

>guy fox

thank you

>protagonist is only good if he's relatable

This desu

He should never have involved himself with L personally.

he had the nigger nose

Some parts were rushed, others were dragged out. The pacing was rarely on point.

He didn't genocide shitskins.

What the fuck, why didn't he do that?

Hell I just decided to rewatch this shit and I don't understand that now. It would have made so much sense...

He wouldn't have been good if he were relatable, that just added on to one of the problems the show had.

He was stupid too, he only got by on being clever and sheer dumb luck.
A smart person would fucking stay at home and pick off random people at random times slowly over the course of a few years shaping the world how he wanted it. He wouldn't need to be clever to get by.
Light was a power hungry two-dimensional narcissistic little shit who would have done better as a no-name villain than as a major character in the show.

Good post.

He made the worst mistake when he let someone do his dirty work.

How old are you? Maybe you should start off with a coherent argument instead of proceeding to have a fit and whine about random things in the show. Having an antagonist for a protagonist was a great way to make the story refreshing.

>an antagonist for a protagonist
literally doesn't make sense

Not a great way to put it, but it was obviously an experiment on behalf of the viewer's perspective. Light wasn't supposed to be likable.

It continued after he killed L.

list of characters smarter than L and Light: Yang Wenli, Reinhard von Lohengram, Johan, Kircheis, Oberstein, Anokata, Pariston, Gin, Akagi, Shinichi Kudo, Shinichi Akiyama, Squealer, Zero Ukai
complete

>fox

Was he supposed to be a fucking moron as well?

Is this the greatest BTFO moment in history?

Finished reading the manga awhile ago. L died and yet the series kept going without the other half of what made it exciting. Instead of letting Light win, author went with the task of having him lose to wrap it up.

What went wrong is that the protagonist had to be dumbed down to lose to a shitty L clone so we got a lackluster ending only liked by dumb moralfags who don't care as long as the big meanie goes down.
>muh relateable
Why does everyone who harps about this sound like a pleb? Light (with the DN, at least) isn't a nice guy, he's an asshole with a grand vision. The protagonist being evil was part of the fun. The other was facing off with another ultra-smart asshole on the side of the 'law'.

And Light's pride would not allow him to just tight after being challenged. Pride is a big thing in the series: Light had it, L had it, even less major characters like Light's father wouldn't relent on certain matters.

Plus Light got WAY more done by getting close to L and killing him. He became L and had access to so much information. He went into turbodrive with the kills, to the point where the world post-L's death was bending over to Kira's will.

>believing a kid saying he's working on the kira case with L
>snow magically appears

Why didn't he hold the elites hostage? Who the fuck cares if some random criminal died? If a bunch of Rothchilds, Rockfellers and random world leaders just died of a heart attack leaving some notes with demands, bet your ass shit would be getting done the next day.

Because jap writer. They have absolute faith in the big brother.

So you be sayin....
