I really want to experiment and shoot on an old VHS camcorder or something like that, I dunno I just find that most cameras nowadays are too clean looking and film is impossibly expensive. Thing is I've not touched VHS at all since about 15 years ago and I was barely a teenager, so basically I have no idea about old camcorders. Anyone know where best to get VHS cameras and tapes, and how to convert VHS to digital? Ebay I don't really trust for cameras after I bought two cameras off there and both broke after a week.

Thanks, I'm sure I'll need it. My dream would be to have the script picked up by Toho and become the first white director for them, doing some small changes to turn it into a King Ghidorah standalone film but I know that's never gonna happen. Will be very hard to sell it as is in the western market though
