Damn

Film looked like shit from the first trailer, so I'm not surprised.

> tucker finally attempts to make a comeback

> this happens

Poor dude

Probably they will heave better reactions once they watch in 2D, since most of them are just complaining just about the 120fps.

Garrett Hedlund can't catch a break, poor guy

>that cast
wew

I thought the trailer looked good

I remember watching the trailer and thinking that it looked like some made for TV movie.

What do you expect with such a crappy cast

120 fps and other gimmicks like that should be reserved for Scifi/fantasy flicks, epic 200 million blockbusters with a shitload of CGI and shit.

James Cameron can use it in his Avatar sequels, he's gonna need a damn good reason to get people to watch them.

A drama will not only not benefit from such technological gimmicks at all, it will only hurt such films, like it apparently did in the case of this film.

Poor KStew is cursed since Snow White.

Yet another Oscar favorite bombs
This is really a shit year for movies

I really liked life of pi

this makes me very ang lee

Nah.

rottentomatoes.com/m/certain_women_2016

Ang Lee directed this. Hahaha

>tfw this was the only movie you were looking forward to

Oh well, ripip Hollywood

>looking forward for Sony films
plebs, when will they learn

It's insufferable when a talented director decides to go full gimmicks, especially one that knows how to handle dramas

Hue

Holy shit is there any Oscar worthy film being released this year?

Hacksaw Ridge will probably get Best Picture at this rate

>Emotions jerk
>Meme cast

Not surprised

Wow, it's almost like people in 2016 don't want to see a movie about Bush-era conservatism and the Iraq War.

JUST

>another wannabee art film wastes all the money spent making it

Yeah, fuck movies. This is how we get endless capeshit.

i like the idea of him trying to do something different but i hate him trying to say it'll change movies.

lmao eat shit oscar bait

>Emotions jerk
I usually just shitpost with this phrase but

what did he mean by this?

What's the gimmick supposed to be? I watched the trailer but I don't get it

120 fps, among others

Isn't it a fact that anything more than 30fps is disgusting to watch?

I'll torrent this movie solely because I want to see Vin Diesel and especially Chris Tucker in a drama film

Dude look up what Billy Lynn's actually about

Suffering from sensory overload is like the key theme of the book, the tech mirrors that

meaning it's a "feels" movie that's supposed to be all powerful and emotional and make you cry because its so emotional and powerful.

what are some oscar worthy films that were released this year?

Hacksaw Ridge will probably win everything, then there's Sully, and maybe The Founder

Birth of a Nation will get nominated for something even though it bombed and nobody seems to like it
Most ''oscar'' films being released up until now are shite, sad year for movies

>Ang Lee
Not even once.

Good. This movie looked like another cheesy piece of shit that makes vets look like cheesedick whiners.

If anyone got in a single firefight, had a couple of KIA and then got to go around touring america then complained how unfair it was they had to go back on deployment they would be an absolute piece of shit.

La La Land is guaranteed to sweep the Oscars.

>Lala land
>Manchester by the sea
>Jackie
>the one from scorsese

Probably this year's foreign pic will be better than Best Picture
Elle
Julieta
Toni Erdmann
Paradise
Neruda
Land of mine
The salesman

Not enough black people in those movies, oscars is going to be any movies with black people this year after last oscars

Who the fuck is Billy Lynn and why should I give a fuck about his walk?

a retarded fictional character made up by a whiny liberal in portland

I doubt it, but I predict it will win Best Cinematography

Forgot about those too, maybe because there isn't much hype around those films like there was hype for Birdman, or Boyhood or The Revenant
Or maybe I've been ignoring it all this time

>musical
>poor people drama
>weird biopic
>depressing 3 hour historical drama that nobody has seen yet

Nothing to hype. I actually love a Mel Gibson comeback but that's not going to happen.
