I'm not entirely certain if every loop is a "real" loop.
If I kept track properly, there are guest storylines that overlap in multiple "loops" that we see, with Dolores waking up or other things repeating.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're going for a kind of Mr. Nobody twist, where half the stuff we see happens in the Hosts' heads, remembering a different loop, like we saw at the end of this episode with Dolores and getting shot.

A good example of things looping over:

It would make sense - William and the other guy are sitting at a camp fire waiting for something to happen, and guess what - something happens. That's a part of that narrative.
