i think bushido brown is based off of this guy

Nah I remember seeing a webm with a boondocks scene and a naruto scene side by side and they had the exact same series of movements.

GET ON MY LEVEL.
Obviously, it's this:
anything Jackie Chan
youtube.com
My favorite because, like a real fight, it comes out of nowhere and is over in an instant. It's brutal but in a realistic way within the confines of the story, without the use of silly martial arts nonsense or slow-motion backflips. The scene does exactly what it needs to do and gets the hell off the screen.
>best ever
>western
kys
I hope someone posted the scene in crouching tiger hidden Dragon between the two females.
Best choreographed fight scene without a doubt.
Wire-fu is cancer.

no doubt

better version
that shocked me the first time around
no. the bourne identity was better
The one on the playground is even better imo.

x q en espaƱol though
This and the gun fight scene afterward are the most visually pleasing and realistic fight scenes. Reason being Keanu Reeves trained for months so he didn't have to use a stunt double and could use a lot less jump cuts.
>bad guys blindly run at protagonist to get CQC'd like a video game
>realistic

Y'all childrens don't know a damn thing about gun fu.
I love this entire fucking movie, but this may be the biggest showstopper in it (not counting the long hallway killstreak near the end):
The scene in Expendables where Jason Stathom and Jet Li snap that man's neck.
I hope this came out alright
deadwood
The hallway scene in Daredevil season 1 was poetry
I'm partial to the sword fight in die another day
I always liked this a lot

Duel to the Death kicks ass. It takes a special kind of bastard to get his head cut off, impaled on a tree branch, and still threaten you before said decapitated, impaled head explodes.
WEEBS GET OUT
>John Wick is a good movie
When will this meme end? Unless you're a boy between the ages of 12 and 17 there's no excuse for liking this movie.
Great taste
it's a nice flick tho
>not posting the superior version
youtube.com
Too much shaky cam to be even considered decent desu.
This. Its not a waste of time or money, but on the grand scale of action movies its still meh.
The shaky cam in Bourne 2 and 3 ruined the fights. The pen fight in the Paris apartment in Identity is the best one, IMO
This. Paul Greengrass is horrible at filming action, which is even more infuriating when the behind-the-scenes featurettes show how much work the choreographers and stunt guys put into the action and fight scenes.
kys
>shaky cam shit
>a thousand cuts
are you fucking memeing with this garbage?
Bourne series ruined everything because it popularized shaky cam. Now it's everywhere and it ruins movies.
>0:30
how the fuck did they get away with this shit? such an overrated movie
>be a chef
>spend all of your time working on a perfect course
>owner of the restaurant comes in, shits all over everything and releases it to the public
I thought the rolled-up magazine fight in 2 was kinda gimmicky, like they were just trying to one-up the pen fight, but it was still well done and would've been so much better without the shaky cam, holy shit.

Anyone got a webm from Batman in the warehouse in BvS?
We get it, you're a pedo. This is Cred Forums man, no one's impressed.
>implying any fighting style ever invented works in real life in a world with weapons and ganging up on people
pedo?
Fuck off. Did tumblr go down again?
I don't remember the name but it's a Korean movie about some dude who wants to save a little girl from getting her eyes taken out and there's a nice knife fight at the end of the movie.
I forgot how cool that scene was. X2 was the best x men movie.
Kinographique

The music in this film is just as godtier as its fight scenes.
The Man From Nowhere. Yeah, it was pretty good.
Another fight scene from the director of this movie.

Does anyone have the fight scene from a korean film, it is with knives inside a giant room, looks like a bathhouse or something.
i love that scene. hector was a good dude, i loved seeing achilles get BTFO by that faggot Paris.
Other user here. I saw some of his recent fights, he's definitely slowing down with age. But 80's to 90's fast and flexible as fuck Chan still holds up.

youtube.com
What I love about him is that he's always the underdog in fights, he acts like he's always a cunthair away from getting his shit kicked in, just barely keeping up with his opponents. You don't see this kind of acting from inflated ego martial artists like Segal or Van Damme who always play invincible Mary-Sue characters in every movie.
he should have just let the archers on the walls riddle achillies up though desu
got himself killed and in turn his entire city razed and butchered just for his honour
Man from Nowhere
Best:

Drive Angry. Nicolas Cage bones a hot bitch and drinks and smokes while he's in a gunfight. The man is a national treasure.

"The raid 2" the last fight is awesome. It took five days to film and the choreography is extremely well done

Dirty Ho
impressive...very nice
>implying anything but wrestling works in real life
I doubt anyone would enjoy watching two men hug each other for 20 minutes instead of your typical action scene.
try this on for size....
youtube.com
realistic fight scenes are boring for the most part. seeing two martial artists go off with carefully planned choreography is fucking amazing.
My apologies if this has already been posted. youtube.com
i could watch jack bauer hurt people for weeks
Jackie Chan
I'm really fond of this final scene from Ip Man. Well worth watching if you're into martial arts films
Always loved this one.

Donnie Yen vs Sammo Hung from SPL
Essential CIAkino.
Thanks for that. It's awesome to see how fast someone Sammo Hung's age and size can be. And Donnie Yen makes anyone look like a million bucks
>none of you fags posted this

For shame, anons.

what did he mean by this?
lmao, kung-fu wire bullshit
I bet you think that's how fights look in real life
no I'm not a retard like you
bet you think capeshit fights are good
>it's an user talks about real life episode
It's good, but I think only because of the music. It could have been a little longer.
>s-shaky cam is bad!
everything is completely clear in that fight, you understand exactly what's going on, it even fucking makes the action feel more claustrophobic. its one of the best fight scenes and if you disagree because muh shaky cam you're actually braindead
...
lol too early for me
youtube.com
fuck off greengrass you hack. quit ruining movies
This is kino in its purest form

This one is my favorite.

The single most satisfying end to a fight scene I've ever seen
Absolutely
in case no one posted this before, from Saving Private Ryan
I just love the Kozure Okami movies.
Crouching tiger vs Hidden Dragon
Why would they make a robot look like such a dipshit.
You are objectively correct, however!
>Name 10 fights that aren't Jackie Chan.
>the many bruce lee and jet li fights
Captain America vs the Winter Soldier
This was explained in the movie, Leon is classed as mental level C, i.e. a dipshit.
Best fight scene is the final boss in legend of the drunkeb master (Jackie Chan) I think that movie is his masterpiece and it was him at his peak when he had all of the experience and still had amazing physicality.
Get out!
the shaky cam editing tho
Kung Fu Hustle is great, irl One Piece.
Doesn't seem that shakey to me
youtu.be
It's fine
His MP5 keeps clicking after his magazine runs out. That's not how guns work. Little detail that brings a 9/10 scene down to 7/10
seconded, fucking amazing, only rivaled by Mad Dog fighting the sergeant in the first one.
the camera has some very clear movement to it, is too close to the action so you can't see most of it, and there are quite a few quick cuts. the choreography is there but the editing and camera work seems kind of poor
when yoda uses his light saber
ITS LIKE POETRY
That's a fight scene. Not the cut to a million pieces shit that the OP posted.
When a fight scene is constantly cut at every hit, it's because the director can't direct fight scenes and the actors/stuntmen don't know how to fight.
Sound design goes a long way.
Yeah but Tony jaa is a one trick pony. He's talented and I think ong bak is one of the better action movies of its time but he was already done by part 3.
There was a lot of hype about how he was going to take the torch from Jackie but he never lived up to the hype and he never had the chance to be in control. Just a good stuntman.
the raid 2
Definitely not the one in the OP
mp5s do look it up.
johnny kino
>HEY WATCH OUT
>AS HE FALLS

Aww, that's from when he was still sane. I yearn for Raid 3 and him to go 100% crazy.
Elephant White (2010) has similar CQC scene.
This movie is highly underrated.
It's an okay movie, but people like you who hate when people like it are just as bad as the people who won't shut up about it.
Maybe not best, but I love this one.
youtube.com
The actual one on one combat bits are meh, but a oner of him fighting his way up the spiral staircase is too badass
Achilles VS Hector
This shit right here. The movie sucked but the fight choreography was top tier.
I don't think there is much wire-fu in that scene. Just lots of weapons.
how is this not posted yet u plebs

I saw The Accountant this weekend. Could have been better, but it had the best fight scenes I've ever seen.
I actually prefer the fight with the kinfe guy in the alley.
