Pure Kino.

Haven't seen it, but it's Cruise, so at worst it'll be serviceable.

pure shit, not original. I watched for cruise and it confirmed cruise is for easy audience.

Cred Forums opinion is irrelevant, make your own.

It was good

>Just catch this in tv.

Caught*

Commercial break right now.

I miss some early parts. But from what i get it's some kind of post-apocalyptic story with some cool futuristic setting. Visual was great.

The ending was pure shit.
We followed that version of Tom because he was special not like the others.

Then at the end they give the woman a brand new Tom like nothing happened?

Fuck this. This is Meet Joe Black bullshit all over again.

At little wonky, but it was nice to have a slow, action-style movie.

Don't you mean "on" tv?

I liked it, very cool sets and the drones and spaceship were fucking cool looking. And Iceland wass a great country to film this in, wanna go there myself someday, just because of this movie.

Looks great, sounds even better, tiptop grill. No, not that shitskin russian.

Shit script tho.

>catch

Everything that happened inside the Tet was pure kino

Rest was trash

I can't say enough good things about Oblivion. Loved everything about it. The cinematography and score are particularly god tier.

>catched

It was thrash. And I really like Cruise

>It was thrash.
Metal.

The fact that Tom Cruise single-handedly kept sci-fi in theaters means I can never grow to hate the man.

Film wise it was okay, ending definitely stumbled the concept. The movie didn't do what I wanted it to do but was still interesting. Since you're watching it watch it, but don't expect greatness.

I wonder if the director ever played Portal 2?
To me the movie feels as if its almost a homage, from the set/costume point of view.

great

The Portal aesthetic is itself a homage to 2001, which is itself a homage to even earlier sci-fi aesthetic, which came about due to low budgets and the need for massive sets.

Brush up on your history, kiddo.

Good concept

Fun Cruisey execution

wtf "bad guy"

Good actual bad guy

kino as fuck psychological fuckery climax

Shitty ending that doesn't really ruin the entire thing

Awful "epilogue" that almost undoes the premise.

Pretty good.

Can we all agree Anglo wife > Slave wife?

>2001, which is itself a homage to even earlier sci-fi aesthetic

Yeah that aesthetic was called Apollo 11.

>which came about due to low budgets and the need for massive sets

low budgets = massive sets. right.

Why do you need to make stuff up on the internet?

Fucking terrible.

No Oblivion gates, no hero of Kvatch. All races were human. A FUCKING GUNS aka We want the Fallout audience.

Basically only cashed on the name.

It was alright. Not memorable at all, but it wasn't bad.
