Season 2 episode 2 was pretty thrilling

I'd say the one closest to horror is white christmas, that also happens to be probably the most excellent episode alongside season 1 episode 3

It was supposed to be 12 episodes, but they split the season up into two parts. It's only 6 for now and 6 more some time in the future.

a lot of the subjects were pretty dumb for an hour long episode, but I find myself watching all of them anyway
I haven't watched anything from season 3 but I did enjoy the Christmas episode

it's too bad one of the new episodes is basically a scene-for-scene ripoff of Requiem for a Dream

Yeah I rewatched white bear yesterday to see if there were elements of the plot twist that were hinted throughout the episode (there were)

It's a really excellent episode, portrays the emotions of every character extremely well

Particularly when she's left to be tortured for like 30 minutes while her memory is being erased

What I also found especially excellent about it was how in the closing credits it was almost like an advertisement of a regular theme park

I think probably the best part of the last 15 minutes or so was when the guy walks down the stairs and through the loud screaming of the woman he crosses off another day on the calendar and it just makes you wonder how long its been going on

Since it only shows you one month, its up to the viewer to think how long she's been in this continuous time loop

Rewatched White Bear just a few moments ago. It's pretty solid piece of television with a strong ending (although I am a sucker for repetitions). I don't really get quite the show is quite so loved, yes it's pretty good but it's nothing more than that. I'd never look forward to an episode but at the same time I will keep watching it.

My favourite episode is probably s1e1 the premise is just too good.

from reviews it seems to be a damn good episode, so that's a bonus too

in theory it'd be less forced then another BM/WF couple. it also matters how the relationship is handled.

one of the best examples is the flash vs. supergirl. in the flash we know early on that barry has strong feelings for iris. but it never comes off as barry fetishizing her for being black. they have a shared history that connects them and come off as real people.

supergirl by contrast comes off as fetishism. she acts like she wants to fuck james the first moment she sees him. it's also very unsubtle about winn being the loser white guy in comparison to james. these feel like caricatures and many people find it hard to care about supergirl and james.

Thank you for an actual decent response, I do agree it has to be handled and set up rather well. But I feel it's unfair to use this type of judgement on a series like Black Mirror that are stand alone stories.
