Yeah the final scene of the show will be Delores waking up and doing her usual routine, but in either a real world city or the Westworld complex. She'll run into Teddy and they'll be happy together, recalling Westworld horrors as an unpleasant dream.
The love story is between Delores and Teddy. William is just there to make it to second base before remembering his wife and calling it off, in order to build potential good guy suitor tension in the NTR narrative.

The more they use the more established actors the more they have to pay them. This is why big name actors get thrown into shows like this yet hardly see much screen time.

You wont see much of Ed Harris (a split second on screen in episode 3) and they keep the scenes with Anthony Hopkins fairly low and these will probably become more and more infrequent as the show progresses, they use these actors to 1 sell the show in trailers etc and 2 to establish the plot/setting etc.

If they are going for multi series then Hopkin/Harris and likely Newton/wright will be offed by the end of the season with the other actors essentially being handed the show, if its a one series type deal (which I highly doubt) You'll probably see far less of these four up until the end where they will return for the finale, they'll throw tokenistic short scenes out there here and there but play far less of a role in the plot like Harris' tokenistic split second screentime in the latest episode.
