they don't care about leaf color, and it makes no difference to alkaloid ratio (as far as anyone can tell at least) nor are they breeding selectively. there's no such thing as "elephant" or "yellow", when a kratom plant gets aged its veins become red. til then, they're green and clearish.

when you buy kratom, you're gambling. but as a whole, kratom's pretty good and consistent now-a-days. extremely consistent, in fact.

buy online, look for $30 per 250 grams or like $75-100 per 1kg. there is at least 1 site for cheaper that are domestic, but the guy who runs it is a prick.
