If you have to do something, even though you should leave it the fuck alone, I'd say slightly detune the strings. Not even a full half step. Just barely. Maybe even just a few of the strings.

swap the string order, ie low e is closer to the bottom and the thinnest string is at the top
maybe swap around the volume / tone knobs?

You'd have to recut the nut to change the string order, I believe.

And you'd need to remove or disconnect parts to change control order. Either by unscrewing the actual electronic component of the knobs and switching them around or by unsoldering the wires and changing the connections.

Overall, there are too many chances to cause damage for this to be worth it.

Its certainly an upgrade, if you can find a good used one id go for it but there's nothing wrong with mim. The neck and hardware will be the biggest differences, along with qc. You could get some different pups for a mim and have a great guitar

The higher end pups go for $250 for a single humbucker sometimes. I did a Tele build a few years ago with a swamp ash body and mim neck then put fender n3 noiseless pickups in it. They were the most expensive thing on the guitar and are relatively cheap as far as pickups are concerned.

Well i would say start slowly and onve you put your fingers down dont move them and play each string one by one and arpeggiate the chord. Listen to what notes are deas or muffled and you will find out what fingers need training. Then arpeggiate again but this time with yoir fingers adjusted as to not have anymore muffled or dead notes. Repeat until youre comfortable with your chord changes.

The cathedral is nice on some settings especially, but the algorithms sound a bit dated. I'd compare it to other pedals if you can. If you're getting it because of the reverse setting and/or want a good sounding spring reverb, you'd be much better off with something like a Digitech Polara. Even the newest Boss reverb or new Hall of Fame may be better.

It's good to be safe, but a tube amp doesn't actively want to kill you, as so many guitarists seem to believe. I've worked on and built tube amps, as well as a bunch of old tube radios. The filter caps aren't that big of a deal. A majority of newer amps have a drain resistor anyhow, and even without, the caps drain themselves to a safe level in minutes. It's very rare to die from a cap discharge. I've only been shocked while an amp was actually on before though, so again, the danger of filter caps is overstated as fuck. Either way, can't go wrong by discharging them and checking with a meter.

Unless that video shows that a compressor makes ths string sound longer than it vibrates then it doesn't increase sustain.

Don't rely on Rocksmith for everything, it aint gonna be able to correct any bad techniques you pick up
