CURRENT CURLING THREAD

...

Can we change the Cred Forums name of Curling to dopesweep?

>/hoc/ in an Olympic general
>/hoc/ for Women's hockey
>not having individual threads for the semi finals

Hockey is such a niche sport.

How do you expect it to grow past NBA, much less MLB or NFL if we don't all help it grow more?

By being inclusive we can make a bigger push towards the American market, and make it have more of a staying power in Canada as well.

wew the si jumping team event is the only nice thing in this list and I know for sure that I have to be at work at this time.

Who thought that Olympics in Korea were a good idea?

FUCK OFF TRANNY CHINK

...

I thought Germans liked bobsleigh

Honestly nobody knows why we always win in these kinds of events, same with Luge. Nobody cares for the sport itself, it's just nice to see more German medals, Ski Jumping and Biathlon are far more popular

This kills the Kraut

>all the best intolerance from the 80's, 90's, and today

NEW CURLING THREAD

>this shit is an olympic sport

women's big air thread?

BIG AIR THREAD

WOMEN'S SKI HALF-PIPE THREAD

For those who are interested this is the current Webm Thread

Lol the thick koorean speed skater is crying

Women's events over for now. No more sports QTs. Interest lost.

>women ski halfpipe
>women snowboard big air

>NBC
speed skating isn't on for another 9 bong or so

>having to minimize all these dumb memeball sports threads just to find the olympic ones

Why can't they just make an Olympic board for two weeks every 2 years?

two are on right now idiot

/oly/ when?

you're posting in the thread right fucking now

every 4 years

>Olympic board

>no red eye bob costas

Will Finland manage to beat the US?

>only curling and women's hockey within the next 8 bongs
Who the fuck made this schedule?

They should have put bobsled at 10:30PM EST.

>6AM

I dunno is there a National Curling League or sumfin?

Still not sure what you're on about, guvna

As in a permanent board to discuss all things olympics. I imagine that would include the qualification process for the events, and all that jazz.

>time worse by 0.0 seconds
>lose

you can just start more threads here or on /asp/ when major comps are going on. All olympic sports have a yearly grand prix or world cup type of circuit and world championships.

Every single olypmics I get really sad and homesick sort of

Im NEET so I watch hours and hours of events, and it just feels like it would be the greatest experience of all time. I just wish I was there.
I dont get this feeling from anything else, I dont think of beaches or other popular vacation spots, I dont think about concerts or amusement parks like this.

It just seems like its so wholesome and beautiful. It makes me physically hurt

Itll be a whole decade before I could feasibly go to the olympics, its such a long time who knows what actually will happen.
I wish I had the money...

Man, today was a poor scheduling day for the Olympics.

Everything was spaced out far as fuck. Two lackluster qualifying events. No cross country to look forward to in the early morning. No ski/board cross.

And then they always load up 5 events at the same time earlier in the day.

I know olympic sports are usually "one off" for most viewers, but I really suggest people to watch the world cups/grand prix too. It makes the olympics more interesting imo.

Comfy spring classics in cycling beginning after the olympics end.
