Intimidator 305

I’m planning on going to energylandia this year for zadra and Hyperion.

Zadra looks pretty insane.

That thing has so many Gs I almost blacked out

Never been on a ride that intense. Looking forward to it.

It’s fun as hell and definitely worth the wait
>upside
You see white
Some black out
>downside
It’s like 30 secs long
25secs for climb
5 secs for ride

I recommend getting tickets in the rainy season(April/March) or at the end of the year before the Halloween shit starts

>I live 30 minutes away

That sounds awesome. I used to live 45 minutes from Dollywood and that was wonderful. When do you go for low crowds? It's not open too many days a week before summer. Dollywood's almost always open so it was easy to go when the park was empty.

If you don’t care about the water park then the best time to go is the end of March/all of April OR the end of the season right before the Halloween stuff starts.

You can still go during the Halloween event, but if you do I recommend to go earlier in the month as it’s less crowded.

If you want to do the water park as well as the theme park, then I recommend going for 2 days in the middle of the week before school ends(beginning of June).

I’m also sorry to say that my favorite ride, the Volcano was torn down last year after a bad incident. I still remember the hype and ads surrounding its announcement around 20 years ago. There was even a rumor that someone fell out of the lift and died.

Good times.

P.S. I recommend fast pass for the summer dates but NOT the spring/fall dates

I don't think it was because of an accident. It was just because they were having trouble with it, sometimes it wouldn't make it over the first hill and it would roll back, and the maintenance wasn't worth it. I know it must've been a massive headache if they're going to take out one of the most popular rides there. I like waterslides, but it's probably not too big a deal if I miss out. Are there any in the water park that you really love that you want to do every time?

One more thing.
If you do the water park, be careful on the three medium slides right next to each other(you’ll know what I mean). One of them has an almost vertical drop. The first time I did it I threw myself in for extra speed and fell in free fall 20 feet onto my ass bones and was in pain the rest of the day.

P.S.S. Get there as early as possible(duh) and remember that there’s an assload of traffic heading to and from DC and Richmond in the morning. I’m not sure where you’re staying, but be wary of 95. Ask someone local what roads to take/avoid

I don’t remember the names
The raft one with the conveyor belt is kick ass especially with a fat person
The waves are pretty fun
The funnel is overrated and too short
I don’t remember if this was Kings Dominion or somewhere else, but the really tall slide with hatch release beneath your feet was always fun

All the other slides are pretty standard

Cool. I'm looking forward to checking it out.

GENTLEMAN
STAART YOUR ENGINES

looks like a kickass ride im fucking jealous, only got bout 60 credits

Better than my 18. Now that I've moved from Iowa back down south, I'm ready to start exploring some of these parks near me.

this ride is a capacity monster so the line shouldn't ever be very long, churns through riders. hope you have a great time.

also dont sleep on twisted timbers man, compared to i305 it doesn't look like a lot but its an airtime machine

Oh I'm gonna hit Twisted Timbers. Lightning Rod at Dollywood is what made me want to start visiting different parks and riding all the coasters I can. That ride is a masterpiece.

MY MAN GOT TO RIDE LROD im jealous as fuck. truly a masterpiece coaster. i get goosebumps watching povs, lucky man. my pinnacle coaster experience was finally going to cedar point. what a place

Last year they finally managed to have it open most of the time. I've heard that they've weakened the launch in order to not have as many problems, so it doesn't go quite as fast as it used to, but with nothing to compare it to, it blew me away when I rode it in October. Can't wait to go back again next year.

They also did some retracking on Thunderhead which I really appreciated. It was started to get rough, but last year it was running great.
