Nothing spooky ever happened to me except I did dream I was visited by aliens once. But I can relate some of the spooky stories I've collected

So my mom's dad died when she was very young, in high school in fact. He had a huge inoperable brain tumor, a very rare kind, and it was I think the size of a grapefruit or something ridiculous. Anyway so she's at school right. And she didn't get a call or anything, she just instantly and immediately knew that her dad died. She gets a call at school like 20 minutes later, and they send her home. Somehow she just knew the moment it happened.

I'm gonna butcher this story unfortunately, my friend whose story it is gets the details much better (obviously).

So my friend used to work at this summer camp. He started getting complaints from the kids that they couldn't sleep because a man in a plaid shirt and a baseball cap and jeans was staring at them while they tried to sleep.

Granted, this friend of mine is very scientifically minded. Total atheist. Doesn't believe in anything supernatural at all. Except when he tells this story it's like he's really, physically shaken up over it.

So he tells the kids there's no man in the plaid shirt with a baseball cap. But he keeps getting the same complaints from kids. They can't sleep because the man with the plaid shirt and the baseball cap is staring at them.
He looks around the campground and the lake and doesn't find anything.

The next day he asks around and one of the older camp counselors tells him about the ghost, they see him all the time. It was a camp counselor who drowned in the lake many years ago. Matched the same description, always wearing the same clothes. Spooks my friend out.

That night he goes out on the lake at night and takes a walk to see if the ghost shows up. He walks all the way around the fairground, all the way around the lake, and as he gives up and heads back, he sees the same guy across the lake, plaid shirt and baseball cap, just standing there. My friend was so freaked out he just ran, just booked it the fuck out of there and back to the cabin, stayed up all night with his flashlight. When he finally got up the courage to go back out to the lake he was gone

I know that i'ts genuinely possible to move a piece of foil or paper with your "mind". It's not even hard. Dunno how "supernatural" it is, but it's real, so there are lots of communities going crazy about it.
