Have you seen drugs, guns, or sex toys? Have you seen anybody busted for CP? Do you see it as a career job?

Yes, I have seen drugs and guns. Sex toys are quite frequent.
No, never seen anybody busted for CP.
If you are willing to do a lot of politics, then, yes, it's a career job. And quite a nice one, I might add.

Do you work in USA

Incredibly, no. I do not work in the mighty USA.

Oh okay

And will you ever work in USA or have worked

No, I never worked in the USA. I am willing to work there, but only if the pay is really good and, still, I do have my reserves. Honestly I am not informed enough to make a decision like that.

Cool, and do you like spaghetti by any chance

Of course I do. Who doesn't?

you ever cope a feel?

All my questions have been answered, i will be on my way
Farewell

How much do you get paid?

do security scanners pick up on weed?

No. Never did, never will.
Have a nice day.
More or less 1500€ per month.
We don't use security scanners. They aren't as effective as regular metal detectors.

Expand on the "willing to do a lot of politics" General ass kissing to superiors for promotions, navigating SJW minefields? Where do you work? Country and small vs large airport is relevant info

How do you decide who gets the pat-down after going through the metal detector?

then how do you notice if anyone is traveling with some joints or buds?

I work in Europe. That's all I'm going to say.
As far as the airport goes, it's one of the top 20 busiest airports in Europe. It's the biggest in my country.
Basically for politics it means that you have to adapt how you work depending on the various situations and people that are there. And it's not that easy, because most of the times they can't tell you to work in a certain way, so you just have to understand it.
I don't. You do. If you don't have anything in your pockets, I won't touch you. If you go a few times under the metal detector and it still beeps, then you're going to get a manual search.
We don't work with drugs. And, if I find you with a couple of joints in your pockets or bag, I won't do anything about it.

thanks for the thread user.

do you ever go through people's electronic devices (I mean more than just turning them on to confirm they're working); is it policy to demand passwords and look through people's stuff?

I've heard this is practice in some countries and find it beyond disturbing; all the liberties we fought for, like postal secrecy, personal and privacy rights, lost in a few decades because of "porn" and "terrorism", and because electronics are somehow not as personal as an unopened letter??

Why you guys have to treat everyone like shit? 99% of us are just trying to get by our lives, why not show some respect to us and act kindly.

And yes, I travel a lot and never been treated kindly by the piece of shit security staff at airport!

>I've heard this is practice in some countries and find it beyond disturbing
Not OP but I heard they do this in Australia.

how gay r u?

what? don't know where you go to, but in my experience they're normally not going out of their way to be unfriendly; they're just overworked and usher people through like they're cattle, but I wouldn't necessarily call that unfriendly.

Trips checked.
It's not our job. We only check for things that can bring down a plane, such as guns, knives, weapons in general and things that can be used as a weapon, like a chain. I never turned on a single thing, laptop, tablet, phone or anything else.
What you are talking about it's customs. They do this kind of stuff. Honestly, I've never seen it do here and I think it's just a stupid check, since you can easily conceal stuff in hard disks or usb sticks. It would take days to discover something, unless you are so dumb to have a folder named "child porn" on your desktop.

We don't and can't do that. We will get a write off if we are rude with passengers. We usually get praised by the passengers because we are much more friendlier and kind than the other countries and, sometimes airport in the same country.
Also, I might add, we see all kind of stupid shit people do and it gets on your nerves very quickly.
Some examples:
>my phone is off, it won't set off the metal detector
>my belt is made of fabric, it won't set off the metal detector
after saying to fully empty your pockets and still beeping
>takes out wallet, keyes, credit cards, and a pill box because "they don't set off the MD"
>in this other airport they do things like that so I will do it their way, even if you explicitly said to not to do so
>having to argue because your shoes don't have metal inside them, yest they set off the alarm
>my smartwatch is made of plastic, there isn't any metal
>gold doesn't beep. Even if it's FUCKING METAL. And that's a METAL DETECTOR.

Not enough to be called gay.
