Music that kicks you right in the feels. Difficulty level: NO WORDS. Just the music itself, bonus points for tears.
For me, I legit get choked up every time I hear David Gilmour's guitar solo at the end of Comfortably Numb. That guy channels emotion through an instrument like no one else.
For me , it’s the translation from bring the boys back home to comfortably numb. That first note followed by the sirens gets me every time. Even thinking about it right now.

Pretty obvious, but the guitar solo in the middle of Master Of Puppets - Metallica. Also the solo In the middle of Iron Maiden's Strange World.
It isn't a particularly emotional song, but the solo from Hotel California gives me chills every time I hear it. The few times I've heard it in concert I have barely been able to stay coherent.
2112 “JUST THINK OF WHAT MY LIFE MIIIIIGHT BE, IN A WORLD LIKE I HAVE SEEN. I DONT THINK I CAN CARRY ON, CARRY ON THIS COLD AND EMPTY LIFE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOO” and then that fucking solo??? I didn’t just get goosebumps when I first that I was at fucking full staff
Meh. That one always had this circus-y feel to it that made it sound more jovial than triumphant. And "nationalism" isn't something that's gonna make me tear up anyway.
Parker Turner
Fag emotions aside, gloomy sunday by the great Billie Holiday is a song to hung yourself to, without regrets.
I like it. Sad, but with this weird undercurrent of hope, maybe?

Every now and then jazz hits me in the feels, and this one does. I listen to it pretty regularly.

Funnily enough, I have the exact same answer but not quite the same reason. I like Floyd sure, but my best friend was mad about Comfortably Numb, it's the song I associate with him, and he's gone now so yeah it gets to me a bit.
The guitar solo in the middle, and at the end of I Will Return by The Black Dahlia Murder gives me chills every time, it's technically and rhythmically and emotionally perfect.
Brayden Hill
Amigo the Devil's Cocaine and Abel. Gets me everytime.
I should mention we were both guitarists, he could never quite solo that well, but I would learn the various Gilmour solos and we'd nerd out on the beauty of them, and how despite playing them perfectly, I never played them quite right cause I'm just not David Gilmour. So that solo you mentioned reminds me of him a lot, as well as the one in Time.
Adam Brooks
That's cool af. The song itself is about dissociation, and the solo perfectly captures the sorrow of loss. If it had a 1:1 personal connection, I'd probably collapse into a puddle of tears every time I heard it.
If you can find the time, I honestly believe this is better. I love miles and MJQ. But this particular MJQ is an absolute masterpiece. However, like all jazz, it takes time. You have to listen to it, again, and again...but when you have it, it never leaves and never gets stale (Iike most music does). I'll shut up now. But, this, this is it!
thank you! I haven't listened to gramatik for so long
Dylan Johnson
Yeah, that's what it does to me. Also crying now cause I never pay attention to lyrics, and he had a secret addiction to painkillers, so dissociation is pretty on point. Fuck
I've always liked the major/minor changes. Good feels on this one.

Whale and Wasp Just fills me with a feeling I cant explain. It's like, it makes me feel cold and alone and fills me with existential dread, but it is not an unwelcome dread. It's like that cold air is trying to comfort me while I sit alone.
Last Train Home, and not because Jojo. It was used in this slideshow about this club I was apart of in highschool. So many memories I wish I could relive.
Joshua Price
Absolutely. Can barely listen to it and surprised he ever did it live.
