its cheap as shit to do it. here's what you do, go to home depot, and get led lights. now i forget what the fuck name they use 'day light' or some shit, but grab the box, and look at the spectrum output of the light. for growth, aka - seed to plant stage, you want more blue light. so get the 'blue-est' light you can find. read the fucking box. keep the light on the seed for 18 hours.

when that shit gets ready to bloom, switch to a redder light (again, read the fucking boxes) and switch to 12 hours.

the pot will stink up your place. so figure that shit out too.

for bigger plants, introduce c02, either by leaving open c02 beverages nearby or setting up one of the various c02 bottle contraptions people come up with on youtube.

i hear mix 5000K and 3000K led spot lights or use the grow led lights from Wally world, 6 bucks a piece and it should go well. I know a guy who grew a 4-0 branchy plant only about 50 watts of light but it took a long time (5 months) more light and a fan would have made it grow faster

I grew 3 plants from seeds. I bought about $10 worth of dirt, $20 worth of pots, and $30 worth of lights.
I got three 24in LED plant growing lights from walmart, 3 pots and dirt from lowes/home depot.
I accidentally snapped one of my plants in half but those 3 led strips worked VERY well in growing the plant.
