What is your stance on training children to use firearms?

what is your stance on training children to use firearms?

I equip my children with several firearms so they can stand up to bully's and stop a schoolshooting if one ever erupts on their school

Whatever. It's stupid, but not my problem.

Wait wut?

Do it

I wouldn't. They're kids and would probably hurt themselves. Then I'd feel like a shitbag.

"My God, sorry to hear your child is dead! How did it happen?"

"I - I - thought she... needed to learn... t-t-to shoot a gun..."

*dead fucking silence, horrified looks exchanged, father weeps bitter, bitter tears*

ngl i'm actually fascinated how they can be brainwashed into being trained killers.

“Full auto alrigghhht”
Then he died
Did the full video ever come out?

If they’re farm kids or something I’m all for it

I bought my daughter her first at 9. A little .25, by 10 she had a shotgun and rifle and upgraded her sidearm to a .380.

If you own guns and have kids it's your responsibility to make sure they know how to be safe and responsible with them. But I don't think that parents should take their kids shooting if they don't have an interest in it.

On that side of the planet boys are being tought how to kill. Where I live boys are being tought how to be girls.

Don't have kids yet, but I'm certificated in firearms safety and training.

Taught my nephews how to shoot with a .22 rifle when they got a bit older I give them heavier firepower like 12 gauges. Gonna start making my own weapons soon.

shoulder width apart; weight evenly distributed on both feet.

At this rate, I don't think we're going to survive an islam invasion.

If they are trained right from the start, you will never have that problem.

Unless you used a full auto or some giant weapon with high recoil and not a fucking moron, I doubt this will happen.

kill urself

Believe me I've tried.

Pulling the trigger isnt easy.

They are children and I'm not a gun expert. This is always possible.

Don't need to be an expert, but if you don't feel comfortable with weapons, don't teach your kids how to use one.

You heard me right

Even full auto if they are trained properly is not a problem.

Goddamn Texans.

Yes, this was my original point.

Not really, you remember that firearms instructor that was teaching the 9 year old girl how to use it and ended up shooting him in the face by mistake?

It's the recoil. It's very hard to control a fully automatic weapon, even harder to line up an accurate shot.

Millions of parents teach their kids to shoot every year with no harmful results. The ones that die in accidents are the ones that have no training because their parents are scared.

If they are old enough to be responsible with a firearm and clearly know right from wrong, life and death, then why cant I put my dick in them? Why must I travel to countries with tighter gun controls to fuck their users?

He fucked up by standing in the wrong place and it was her first time. Start with a .22 scorpion full auto, then move on to the 9mil.

Yeah, that's my point. Just give them a small weapon until they get older.

Obviously, I'd discourage any gunplay of any kind, but if the kid insisted or whatever, I'd definitely have to get them a professional trainer. And no gun ownership of any kind, as well

meh, ownership is fine if they show maturity and responsibility. But, pretty fucking sure neighbors or whatever is going to start alerting CPS.

fucking do it so they don't hurt themselves in the future being a retard

damn the ultimate chad

Then when the shit goes down, keep yourself and your kids away from my family. Scared little bitches like you get people killed. Start them young and raise them properly and you would have no problems.

>teaching your children to head TOWARDS gunfire and to try to be the hero
OK then

4-8 year olds should not be handed pistols or rifles. These weapons are just too large and unwieldy for younger kids. A crew operated bipod or vehicle mounted weapon, like a belt-fed 50 cal, is more appropriate and builds teamwork. Rifle and pistol training should wait until 9 or 10.

>these weapons are too large

a small .22 or .25 tends to be small enough for them.

why does she have peace symbols all over her coat but is firing a fully automatic weapon?

"Gonna show people my peaceful ways. B Y F O R C E!

none of your or the governments business OP

Force is necessary to defend oneself, sometimes. Peace is something that also has to be, occasionally, enforced.

You're goddamn right

Remember the girl that was being taught to shoot an uzi. Remember the recoil being so bad that she shot the instructor and killed him. Children shouldn't use them

Based. Teaching them how to fight hand to hand is optimal.

If your kids want to shoot then ease them into it responsibly. If they don't want to shoot and you push them towards it, then it's more about your own ego and identity than it is about them. In which case it's a bad idea to put a gun in their hands.

i lost my "right" to own guns so fuck them they can suck a dick

what did you do? go on a killing spree?

if fine just make sure to love your babies. Don't create a weapon. Create a baby.

The precious goddess of peace only survives under the ready arm of the god of war.

QFT

Most of that was the instructor's screw up. You never stand on the left side of the shooter.

A good start.
Homeschooling, survival skills, martial arts, welding and gun practice.
Fuck commie school teachers.

This isn't how it works. When you teach you kids, you start with appropriately sized guns. They get curious about the larger ones, and when they're big enough, you let them try it out. If it's too big, they quickly realize it and won't try it again for a couple years.

Now that they're familiar with guns, it's just a regular object around the house, like a pipe wrench or a spatula. There is no more curiosity or fear and you can now leave a rifle leaning in the corner. It's the people that think like you that think every gun needs a lock or a safe to protect everyone. It's really knowledge and respect that keeps everyone safe.

It wasn't even that long ago that you could carry rifled in a rack in your back window. The mid-90s? I remember it was some point in HS that I had to take the rack out of my dad's truck if I were taking it to school. Before that, we used to take small guns (.22 pistol) to school in our backpacks. We would shoot frogs in the ponds on our walk home. Used to be able to carry a rifle or shotgun on your shoulder and walk a couple miles down the street at age 14. Now the cops show up if you're taking them from your house to your car if they're not in a locked case.

you always stand behind the person shooting. Only step to their side when they are ceased shooting

mandatory

This. I would also add machine/auto repair.

So we finally caught the FROG MURDERER!

Every kid above 5 should have to have one in their desk at school.

It goes without saying.
Start with carpentry, proceed to machine maintenance and repair stuff and continue with welding and construction.

Allow children to train each other unsupervised.
Guns don't kill people so it's cool

Conflict is the default. Peace must be earned and maintained.

It's probably retarded

Teach kids to THINK, not pass government tests. A uni degree looks great framed and hanging on a wall. It's not the same as being a functioning person.

i am ok with it

Attached: kony.jpg (400x366, 48K)

They ever catch that kony2012 guy?

i don't know my man, but when little niggas don't grow up fast enough to become soldiers or hookers depending on the gender, you just gotta accelerate the process
