I'd like to elaborate on some of your points.

So let's go back to when Judaism began to take root in the world, and acknowledge that shit was crazy. The world back then was rather untamed, with polygamy, polyamory, sodomy and all sorts of other crazy shit going one and everyone's just having a good time. All of a sudden you have these new "Jews" saying "Angry sky man gonna wreck yo shit if you don't knock it off," and everyone that doesn't wanna join them is gonna consider them a killjoy. I'm no professional but that'd be a decent enough hit to get the nail in.

Then you have the Christians who believe Jews murdered their saviour. Christians at that point were technically just a Jewish sect that believed the flashy new guy in town when he said he was the son of god, so naturally, another hit on the nail driving the divide deeper. And as Christians became more and more prevelant, the Jews who were marked as hated due to this act naturally had to segregate themselves or risk all sorts of trouble, like the time they were blamed for plague outbreaks in meideval germany and had their homes burnt down.

So that's a bit of a historical stab-in-the-dark assumption about how the Jews became "othered".

Next, the whole Jews and money thing. While I have no formal education in the matter, I see one obvious thing that explains this trait; moneylending. The Christians had a tonne of rules against moneylending, meaning a Christian couldn't be a moneylender. They could take a loan, but not give one. However, the Jews didn't. Naturally, the Jews were considered a valuable asset to society on the whole as long as they could perform such a service. If the most profitable business around was moneylending and only your people could fill the demand, it made sense that so many Jews would develop good money handling skills and that this would become a trait passed down the family line.
