you're here why? fuck out of here faggot.

That may be so, but its slower, and doesn't have the same... shall we say character.

cause i have both this board and /tg/ up at most times.

If Elves live to be hundreds (or thousands) of years old, do you think they age at a speed relative to their lifespan? Do they have 50 year long infancies? 100 year long puberties? Can you fucking imagine having horrible acne and uncontrollable voice cracks for a century?

Attached: Gwent_cardart_scoiatael_eldain.png (994x1426, 1.95M)

depends on the world. some legendariums have them reaching adulthood at 25, some at 50, some longer.

its a really interesting question though. can you imagine being a parent to a 16yo foe 30 years? I'd fucking kill myself.

the best consensus I've seen is;
physical maturity at the same rate as humans and true old age (like humans 65+) lasting about 1/10th the average max life of the elf (40 years for 400, 100 years for 1000)

shes hot af

I like this one too, seems t make the most sense. after all they are inherently magical beings. why wouldn't their aging be irregular?

What boardgames is Cred Forums playing recently?

I've been teaching myself War of the Ring. I think it might be one of my new favorites. the trouble is I keep wanting to play it against myself and I'm afraid if I get too much experience with it I won't be able to find someone to play with.

Ah fuck! A bard! Kill it!

I feel like a good portion of these are metal band album covers.

can a bard play a song to kill and enemy? if you roll a 20

I got a 14

Dust's Hard Attack

This thread could double as a potential heavy metal album cover art thread

but more creatively, could we think up a Heavy Metal themed RPG or D&D setting?

thats pretty fuken cool

Another Tim White painting.

OP here. I literally made a TTRPG based on heavy metal. It's called The Lich's Tower. I have a playlist of heavy metal songs that I play during battle. all my descriptions are gruesome, about rippling muscles, blood spurting, and the feeling of your sword hitting bone.

I could show you my heroforge minis of each class if anyone is interested.

I've been working on my own game too but based more on Occultism and Supernatural shit.
But I don't have much experience. So really would like it if you did.

lore and idea re easy. the hardest part is anything with hard numbers. basically combat. it will take a lot of revising.

feel free to pick my brain

Do you really prefer a slower game - like more HP/than atkstat?

Heres the bastard.

I like my game to move at a decent pace. I'll give RP all the time in the world, but combat is pretty quick and eventful. I find most players find faster combat to be more entertaining. My combat is usually pretty deadly too, most players nearly die at least once a session. It's only a matter of time until one of my players goes down. not that I'm trying to kill them, but it keeps the combat a lot more tense/ interesting.
