My cat used to be really aloof but the last few weeks shes been super clingy. Sleeps on me instead of her bed doesn't leave whatever room I'm in, following me all over the house. Especially when I get drunk she'll get super cuddly. Why do you think it is

Your cat looks like it just ate ass

She has a moostash

Its obvious you fuckin autist. The C wants the D

Nah that ain't it

You’re gonna die soon. Dogs and cats did the same thing with my grandma a couple weeks before she died

Oh man as much as I want to die I worry about who will take care of my cat

this. your cat has probably detected you have cancer.

Maybe I should get tested

Hi user. I have had a ton of cats (like twenty-five b/c I used to rescue). I do not know your cat's history, but I have had cats who did something similar. Even after being in a home for years, a cat may develop a new level of trust and become more comfortable with a given human. She sounds like a sweet girl and I hope that you take the best care of her.

Always shes really the only reason I keep living even when she was aloof

That's what they do when they contract rabies. The virus attacks the part of their brain that makes them wary so they get real affectionate.

Shes never left my house. No contact with rabies

sometimes pets do this when they are in pain or something is wrong. do a good lookover just in case.

He can sense you're about to die.

Shes pretty spry. This is what I thought at first but she doesn't seem to be injured in any way.

That's what other people said. Can't say I mind but I worry about who will take care of my cat if I suddenly pass

user, like most things in life you'll probably never know.

I know that feel.

Don't worry, your cat will have a good source of food as you decompose, they're known to eat corpses if hungry.

Cats are 80% moustache you know

Yes of course

Ask around user, you should be able to locate a cat-person near you who would agree to take her in the unlikely event something happened. I am an attorney and have helped people to make provision for their pets in wills, but if you don't have some significant assets an informal approach might make more sense (and save you some money). Ask at your vet and at local shelters--mainly you are looking for someone on the staff to help you out. Your chances will be especially good if she is a low-maintenance feline (healthy, no behavioral issues). Somebody who already has a couple of cats can integrate a new one without too much difficulty if that cat arrives w.o. a lot of issues. Leave that person's contact info in a few places where it can be found immediately and check in with them every six months to make certain they are still at those coordinates. If you have some assets you could also send them with her (get a bank account and put some cash in it, give it to the person, and have the pin get to them with the cat). Again, it is unlikely that she will not live out the rest of her life with you, but if you are concerned you will sleep better if you have a plan in place. Also, if you have not already done so, see about getting her teeth cleaned. Bad teeth kill cats (kidney disease). If you are a poorfag, look online as you may be able to find a shelter that offers deep discounts to those who lack means. Good luck.

*give the person the bankcard. Sorry, if that was unclear.

Thanks I'll look into it. Taking care of her is really all I live for at this point. I consider her low maintenance but she has quirks like she will only piss or shit in the bathroom not an issue for me but if you don't put the litter box in the bathroom she will just shit on the floor. Other then that shes super passive. Like unsaid usually super aloof but recently sticks to me like glue. I have plenty of money so I'll look into getting some sort of contingency set up

>she will only piss or shit in the bathroom
Cats have a natural sense of hygiene compared to other animals

Your lucky mate. I lost my cat to cancer last october and I'm currently trying to socialise two 7 month old feral kittens I caught at work that won't let me touch them yet. I'd love to have an affectionate lap cat, enjoy it.

Shes done that since I found her. At first I put the litter box in the common area but nope only the bathroom. Now the litter box is right next to the toilet and she always uses it

Bad teeth- my cat died from very rapid onset oral cancer at 14. When she was 10 I had to have most of her teeth removed because of decay, she only had one canine left at that point. She had been a neighbors cat and had really poor dental hygiene which I think set the stage for the cancer.

Yeah i love it. I'm just worried cause it's such a drastic change in behavior. But waking up every morning to a soft kitty on my chest and having her follow me around and talk to me all day is a joy.
