So I tend to go extended periods of time without food alot. Anywhere between 18-36 hours in between meals. Alot of times when I start to eat/chew food I get a extremely sharp pain in the joint of my jaw. Anyone know what it's called and what causes it besides the time in between.

Starvation, you fucking idiot.

Thats not how starvation works you retarded fuck

autism?

How is that even relevant? My autism has nothing to do with joint pain. You're just as stupid as the last guy

Semen counts as meal, stop bullshitting, OP. You know exactly why your jaw is worn out.

I diagnose you with retardation, and prescribe you 1 doctor visit.

He is just calling you retarded because you're seriously asking why you body hurts when you don't for almost two fucking days you faggot

This would explain alot. Unfortunately that is the result of actions which are completely the oppiste of what I diagnosed.
Fuck doctors, there just jews in disguise looking to "diagnose" you with some "condition" you don't even have just to squeeze out some shekels from you

You don't have to eat food like a fat fuck with diabetes every 5 mins. I'm just simply wondering what's going on with my jaw joint that cause sharp pain when I start chewing after a fast

Does it happen if you haven't fasted?

sounds like someone doesn't have health insurance

Go see a doctor, dude. You don't want to get a dislocated jaw.

No. It doesn't. But i think all of you are getting confused. I'm not looking for a treatment. I'm just wondering what in specific causes the sharp pain in my jaw. Like is it a build up of some chemical due to lack of exertion?
No I don't, even still i don't see the relevance here.

How would I get a dislocated jaw by not using said jaw. Think for yourself user

Huh? I've start doing the same as well.
20-40hr between meal or I definitely will have stomachache, tummy goes hard like a well tones abs. but's it's chubby and bouncy when it's empty.

I take it you don't get sharp pains in the jaw joint after fasting?

Is it a pain in the muscle or? Cause I get a sharp pain when I dont eat for a while too. But it just feels like my taste buds tho not like in the muscles or anything

TMD (temporamandibular disorder). Most likely clenching and grinding your teeth as you sleep and/or during the day. Sleep in a night guard, even a shitty over the counter one would help

When your salivary glands finally excrete saliva after a long while it stings for a bit. It's normal

OH shit I posted the TMD response. Refer to my other response below that about salivary glands. If it's extreme and lingering then you could have a sialolith, blocked duct opening

Makes sense. It happens to me alot after a long time without eating

I don't think it's the muscle. It like highly isolated at the joint location.
I thought that myself but iv done test runs with no sleep to prevent unintentional actions while asleep. I personally don't think it's from clenching or grinding.
Definitely not saliva. It is isolated in my jaw joint/bone. Dry mouth is not even close to the pain level I get

Your articular disk could be out of alignment, with the capsule outside its fossa being permanently pinched between the condyle and articular eminence. It can create serious pain and inflammation in the connecting tendons. Those usually require surgery. Although you'd almost certainly notice some clicking and popping when you open, if not temporarily getting locked open or closed occasionally. Not trying to impress you with terminology, just trying to give you some ideas to Google.

AIDS

No, its nothing permanent seems almost self induced. Never any inflammation or extreme pain. Just sharp enough to make me not want to chew anymore. It always goes away after eating

Well that's good. I'm out of ideas then. The average dentist would recommend a night guard and take a look for blocked ducts. You'd just see a small red lump back under your tongue (wharton's duct) or up in the cheek right where it presses against your top molars (parotid gland)

Hot damn user I think your on to something. Here let me send you a sample

fasting? none, I feel great during it.
jaw pain once in a while but only during chewing.

I seriously think it's a build up of a chemical from like of exertion. Kinda like how you can pop ur back after sitting still long enough. Completely unrelated but the best comparison I can come up with atm

This is what I'm trying to diagnose. What exactly causes the pain in the jaw while chewing after fasting.

So you don't think it could be related to clenching? That's really what it sounds like to me. So again id say try buying a generic night guard from Walgreens to wear at night and see if it helps. A dentist office charges $400-500 for a better fitting one. I know I could be wrong but that's the best I can come up with.

OH you meant to say "lack" of exertion. I don't really know anything about that concept. I guess just keep researching

I'll look into it user, but it feels completely unrelated to dental problems, the pain and tension that is. I would think that the jaw ligaments, joints, muscles, and bones wouldnt be something a dentist looks into

You're essentially right, the best we can do is make sure your bite is aligned well, and give you a night guard. Beyond that, there are specialists for tmj and facial pain. Usually previous orthodontists or general dentists that have specifically studied that kind of thing. They offer more complicated appliances and exercise routines, as well as laser treatment and other weird shit. Of course, they're expensive tho. And there aren't really even that many of them. Hope you figure it out

Thanks user Ill just have to data mine some more
