fucking pathetic. i'm using the same dynamic in a television show i've been developing but it involves nuns and drugs in the 70s. you western european morons are so easy to manipulate with icons like that; doing drugs isn't conforming, but nuns conform, so nuns doing drugs is SO FUCKED UP! At the time I overlooked it, but with tyler because he's so eccentric, you easily overlook the simplistic things that have these touches of genius.
That main picture and the facial expression alone is so simple yet accompanying some type of idea.
Just like his radio freestyles where he used to joke around and do parodies basically, like on Sway and how the whole performance got better when he started mean mugging the camera, and Sway goes ''Don't hesitate to punch the camera if it pisses you off'' or something like that

You have a vivid imagination, and you drew up a scenario that could've been plausible.
If not for the fact that even if it was, this wasn't their idea, their idea was much more cliche, basic, normie and corny.
The dichotomy here was just to show something eccentric in a way that's not ''Even an angel can be a devil'', or a ''let's grease up a baby'', but just an artist taking from real life unlikely scenarios, quite literally not trying to be normie but also not pushing it.
This was originally a real picture of a baby holding a candy cigarette.
Not sure if you remember, hell I remember because they had them like 10-20 years ago too.
But candy cigarettes were a thing, this baby was apparently in reality holding something like that, and it's not a random picture either, a woman took a picture of her friends baby picking up (candy) cigarettes.
That woman was the artist for the cover art, she drew with the picture she took for inspiration as reference.
Van halen also had the corniest basic idea for their cover art and this based woman declined because of the usual artist clownery where they don't want to do certain things but also get paid.
In reality that clown shit is best when it works out as you keep your dignity, and this woman had an even more based husband who forwarded her portfolio to Van halen anyway after she didn't agree to their ideas, and they still went with her works.

It featured a sticker that obscured the cigarette in the putto's hand and the pack of cigarettes.[14] The back cover features all four band members individually with 1984 in a green futuristic font.[15]
