the reason is because it didn't go anywhere, it had no cohesion, the characters were fine but the overarching plot was confusing as all fuck because they kept jumping to random points in time without any indication and all of these events are leading up to nothing substantial as far as anyone can tell. also, there were filler episodes in an eight episode season. that's fucking garbage. finally, while the meat of the experience paid homage to the source material, it still fell flat in terms of expressing the mystique of the world, and left many concepts unexplained. garbage.

Turned Mousesack into a fucking stereotype.
And completely cut out all of what made Yennefer an interesting and deep character.
