My conspiracy theory is that CIA modified the flue with HIV which is why Thai doctors had some success with HIV medicine in treating their patients. CIA then attacked China biologically afterwards they saw the Hong Kong protests didn't gather enough wind to crack Chinas dominance.
Now China is pulling all the strings they have to assert their dominance over the situation. They bribed WHO to downplay the situation and at the same time is using the mass confusion and fear as a tactic to control their population.
What most people don't understand is due to their censorship this thing will get larger and larger before they can contain it.
17k infected are "reported and confirmed" as in meaning they are people that have been taken to the hospitals and tested. My guesstimates are 6 to 10 times higher. Not to mention that media downplaying it is just them going with the flow of major governments.
They take 300 deaths on 17k infected as a ratio of mortality? The fuck? That isn't how you measure mortality. If all 17k has recovered from the illness then you can say that only 300 died.
But when you frame it like 500 people recovered and 300 people died then you get a sense of where we are going.
Comparing it to the flu is doing no one any service. 20 million people (reported) recovered from the flue while 10k died. That is negligible.

My honest assumption is that the Chinese government was running experiments on a virulent strain of Corona-chan because they knew something like that could occur naturally or be engineered for use against them as a weapon, and they wanted to understand how to create vaccines for such a virus, probably using Falon Gong, dissidents, and Uighurs they keep in summer camps as human guinea pigs. Their HSE and quality control being what it is, the experimental strain got out of the lab and know they are shitting their collectivist pants because they accidentally manifested their worst nightmare, an ethnic-specific bioweapon that will rip through their under prepared country like a blowtorch through butter.
