Land of the Free.
Why is such a big deal to Americans?? Some cotton clothing with random patterns on it that people like wearing and people get so irate and lose their minds
>Local PTSD navy pussy picks a fight with a based army ranger.
Cringe

Members of the military are venerated in American culture. When someone that's never served lies about, it demonstrates a lack of honor, a lack of respect for our military, and a lack of respect for our own broader culture as a whole (which honors and venerates military service).
The average American takes offense to this behavior. The average military family member, even more so. The average member of the military, most of all.
Some faggy Canadian or Brit just wouldn't understand.
Joseph Price
Stfu fag. Go off and die for some oil. I'll be here fucking your lonely wife.
>triggered What happened, did your high school bully join the Army or something? Who hurt you?
Samuel Johnson
Canadian here Stfu I understand completely OP is a faggot, always There's a difference between wearing camouflage and buying an actual US military outfit and begging for money OP is being retarded on purpose I wear a full Army uniform to play Airsoft, and I've gone into Tim Hortons wearing it and carrying the guns in front of police No troubles because I am white, the guns are unloaded and wrapped in a thin cloth to hide them from plain sight sand and my uniform has no badges or markings on it to appear as if I am a part of the military But most important of all? I'm not pretending to be a poor vet begging for change.

Bruh stolen valor is a thing in Canada and the UK too.
Evan Bennett
>When someone that's never served lies about, it demonstrates a lack of honor, a lack of respect for our military, and a lack of respect for our own broader culture as a whole (which honors and venerates military service). What respect? Respect for people who are dumb enough to kill other people they've never seen before so your country can lower the prices of oil? Wow, so admirable and noble.
Hudson Young
Imagine being scared of fireworks. Next fourth of July I'll make sure to buy the extra loud fireworks just so I can trigger your ptsd
Liam Nguyen
Dingleberry can play dress up all he wants but he shouldn't try to get free shit for wearing a costume. I didn't watch the video but I assume that's what it is.
Jayden Evans
there are people with anti-military views such as yourself, especially on the left. but the fact remains, serving in the military is widely respected in our culture. it's seen as an honorable sacrifice to spend your prime years working and risking your life to defend the nation. you may not see it that way, you may see soldiers as murder drones propping up an unjust system, but that doesn't change the fact that the military has a lot of accumulated prestige.
Brayden King
Some libtards here .
>has a career in serving a nation
>cries on Cred Forums because its beta fag talking about stuff they heard from libtards
Easton Ortiz
>Respect for people who are dumb enough to kill other people they've never seen before so your country can lower the prices of oil? It takes a lot of hard work, to build strawmen like that.
Fair points.
Julian Cook
>imagine being retarded enough to fall for anti military propaganda from shitty rappers and autists
Jace Turner
fucking dubs of american truth and righteousness, right on Cred Forumsrother
>serving in the military is widely respected in our culture. Appeal to tradition. In some "cultures" mutilating girls is acceptable, molesting boys, etc. Slavery was in your high culture as well, sooo, what does this all tell you? What strawman? Just because you've been brainwashed for long enough and can't accept what your "noblemen" are doing is killing of random people they've never met before for oil - doesn't make it false. Whatever, keep promoting and being proud of killing people - that has sure done the world a lot of good.
Brandon Rivera
>what your "noblemen" are doing is killing of random people they've never met before This is what every military has been trained to do, since the dawn of recorded human history. Get over it, faggot.
>for oil You mean the US goes to war for natural resources, like most nations throughout human history? Golly gee, that's terrible! I had no idea that's how the world worked!
Someone should appeal to the UN immediately, to ensure all global resources are distributed evenly, and wars will never have to be fought again. [/sarcasm]
Jack Bell
not all traditions are worthy. however, an independent nation-state must have armed forces to defend itself. in the case of the US, the military plays a large role in our foreign affairs, with our bases and force projection capabilities propping up our status as superpower. but all that aside, the OP asked why stolen valor is a big deal in our culture, and that has been answered.
>Live in Africa Military is forced servitude where you are kidnapped as a child and have to follow orders to eat or have your family threatened with death if you don't serve. I am proud to serve in the armed forces.
>Live in North Korea Military is mandatory and everyone is a agent or a soldier. No fun, no internet, no commucation, no emotion. Life expectancy is 40 years. I am proud to serve in the armed forces.
>Live in Iran Only job that's actually worth anything is in the military. Forced into it to feed family. Americans bombed and killed my family. Proud to serve in the military.
Evan Cooper
Dude claimed to have been deployed in a war zone in order to get discounts for Christmas shopping. OP is a faggot.
