There are social programs and counselors that you can talk to without having to pay. You should definitely reach out and ask for counseling. Even if you have had counseling in the past, this would be a different time and a different counselor. You could always go to an emergency room and ask to speak to someone. You might not even have to give them your name unless they are going to provide meds.
One of the things that can make you feel better without meds is volunteering. You can always find a place to volunteer and usually there will be counselors or psych doctors participating. It would be a safe place to venture out and socialize
