Sigh...you didn't check to see how much those people make in your area? Google and ask for like a few bucks more per hour. They will either say ok or tell you what they are willing to pay. Jesus dude....
Isaac Peterson
I don’t know I’m not going ask the people their how much their pay checks are.
Grayson Reed
Either youre fucking dumb or didn't read what I wrote.
Henry Brooks
Have you tried googling the average salary for a "medical lab tech" instead of asking on anime forums?
Jonathan Wright
You should ask for minimum wage and no benefits, since you're a fucking retard
Anthony Evans
literally just google that shit
i would guess 35,000-40,000 USD
Carson James
Never make the first offer, just bump their original offer by 1.5k. They'll probably agree, can always ask for a pay rise in 6 months time
Thomas Phillips
God damn it user...you just set him up for fail. Now when you walk into his lab he's gonna ask you to do the his job for him.
Nicholas Sullivan
I did read and stand by what I said.
I did but it’s giving me multiple different ranges some as low as 25k to 100k+ So I’m just guessing 50k would be a good guess. I live near the city capital.
Levi Wright
It's a medical gig that shit is usually black and white because of unions, 50 - 60 k is average for Massachusetts. But you will be entry level and every state varies wildly, You could do independent research and probably find out exactly what they pay for the job based on years of experience. The medical field can't get enough bodies in those jobs so know your worth.
Jose Jones
Jesus....there is many types of lab techs...you sound like a 25kr. The 100kr would know this stuff....
Liam Smith
>advertise a job >don't specify a salary range >expect the applicant to pull a number from their ass Is this really how America operates?
Christian Torres
Doubt you can or should negotiate without having work experience
Robert Sanders
>HUR DUR WHY YOU AMERICANS CAN NEGOTIATE YOUR OWN SALARY >REEEEEE
Levi Nguyen
yes and they are so cucked they are afraid to ask people at the job how much money they are making
Samuel Gutierrez
>HEY YO MY MAN LET ME HOLLA AT YOU REAL FAST >HOW MUCH YOU MAKING A YEAR BRO WE GOT A INTERVIEW IN 5 MINUTES >LET ME PEEP OUT THAT PAY STUB BRO-MAN >HEY YO BRO BRO
Parker Davis
But the employer is going to pay a medical technician the amount they think the technician is worth. Why go through the process of making the applicant guess and haggle?
In every other country, the job advert would say "salary $25k to $35k depending on experience". Then if you got the job, you'd negotiate your salary in that range.
Why would you want to go through a whole application and interview process not knowing how much salary the employer was offering?
John Fisher
Because not every applicant is the same. You're gonna pay the same salary regardless of someone's education and experience? Go work at a fucking Taco Bell if that's what you want.
Joshua Reed
who are you quoting?
Anthony Moore
Viable applicants for a job should all have education and experience within the range required for that job.
If they are at the bottom end of the range, they get the lower end of the advertised salary. If they are more qualified and experienced, they take the upper end of the stated salary range.
It's not fucking rocket science.
No employer is advertising for a medical technician, then thinking "oh shit, well the greatest biologist in the world applied, so let's pay him $2million for this role". They will already have budgeted for the role they need before advertising...
Levi Morgan
That's not how the real world works, champ. Like I said, if salary talks is too scary for you that's fine. You can go work at a fucking Taco Bell with the rest of the subhumans. That way you can receive the same pay no matter how long you've worked there.
