One of the best cars ever made. And that blue? Just like seeing sonic the hedgehog fly by. I’d stick to the 99-2002 models, as they are more powerful that even today’s equivalents. Subaru’s best car - as iconic a Baja and just as cool.

give me the s22b, shit is the sexiest wrx in existence. if I wasn't a poorfag I'd be driving and drifting daily

I got the 2015 WRX wagon, fun car! Cons head gasket issues, turbo lag, body is super fragile.

Pros, fun to drive, strong motor, not bad on fuel, sounds bad ass, and a head turner, holds its value will be a collectors item in the future as most have been written off.

above posters are prob full of shit "hurr the old ones are more powerful"

had and 06wrx, and 06 forester. 360whp on an 18G w/ e85

ama

This is a WRX STI...

Owned a 2005 WRX STI for about 9 years. Was fun going through the gears, taking tight twisties, revving the shit out of it. Feels fun man, would do again. No regrets.

Car for kids who think a badge makes a driver
Go for pic related

Sorry my bad *2005

Personally hard disagree. I'm a huge subaru fan, however, they kind of blow. Most awd sports cars from Japan are 6 cylinders and can handle more horse than a subaru. There is something to be said about rally but that pedigree is long gone. But I do agree that 1995 to 2004 is right in the slot for subi

Or the badge for people who dont want to spend 50k+ to get 300 hp and awd

Pic related is retarded rare and expensive try something more attainable

Kys faggot

That's a weird way to tell me im correct.

If you're looking for one just look it over very carefully. They're great cars but they're also old now and with that they'll need proper attention and care
>t. previous gc8 owner

You retards

this
Japan didnt use great sheet metal for the bottom so it tends to rust really easily, also watch for extensive mods, usually means it was beat on, supporting mods like a catch can are good though

Assuming you've taken the wrx impreza sti into thought I'd go for a Mitsubishi evolution they're easier to work on and are a tad bit more reliable as far as subi and Mitsubishi's reliability is concerned.

I dont understand what your point is lmao, the think stated an average of 40k, i can buy an STI for 15k CAD

From what I hear evo's are the only cars that get blown up more than sti

I have a friend who owns a subi and it seems like theres always something wrong with it, it's a bug-eye generation as well another friend who owned a wrx and its engine blew in around 2 months and to work on a subi you have to drop the engine to do basically anything important the Mitsu may not be any better but its easier to do general things to.

I have no direct experience with the Subaru WRX.
The only stories about them that I have heard was
that a former manager of mine rallied them for Subaru in 2004 and his career ended after a month because after he first dogleg turn he bent the front fender into a brake line and pinched the break line.so he was immediately disqualified and that ended his racing career.

Have an 05 wrx and 05 saabaru. Put 80k miles on both. Both heavily modified. Easy as hell to work on. Fun to drive. Reliable. Put 250k+ miles on various other cars and nothing compares for the price.

in australia we call the wrx the clit car. cause every cunts got one.

Everyone else has winter bud. But trust me I wish I had a holden

When did the head gasket and forged parts explode? Also did you ever attempt to boost past?

2004 WRX here with 247,000 on the frame.

Owned the car since 2016 and aside from repairs from modifications, the car runs like a dream and I have only been left stranded once due to a rusted through coolant hard line under the crossover pipe on the block.

I recommend when buying if interested to look into what and how the previous owner ran the car. I had to put a new heads on the motor not three months after buying the car.

Although you are correct your dickishness lays in your assumption that the wrx sti isn't a subaru wrx

GG to your bro :( tragic indeed

I'm sorry do you want to / have 40k to spend on a cossie? And even if you do why not buy something else with more power and better awd? Why not get an evo at that point?

reliable car
slow as shit
you have to vape to start the car

2016 WRX, had it since late nov 2015, about 120k miles, never so much as a hiccup. Runs like a charm. Learned to drive standard on it too and the clutch still grabs em by the puss

>downsides
i'm 24, bought it when I was 19, still in debt over it because i was working a minimum wage job then and still am. $460 a month and around $400/mo for insurance, haven't been able to save a penny in years and i'm a literally manchild now.
