6.5" barrel reduces muzzle velocity well below 2500 fps, rendering the weapon severely underpowered

Luckily an AR15 is a rifle that can be modded for it's intended use and purpose. I plan on using this on the first asshole that enters my home unwelcomed. The spray paint does not mess with functionality whatsoever, and the extended bolt release makes reloading faster.

2500 fps is still enough to get the job done. If I want to go for distance, i'll bring out my 16".

2500 isn't enough to cause regular 55 grain ammo to spall and break apart, which is the only difference between the 5.56 and a 22LR
