Bodybuilder user here, simplest and easiest to excecute method is to count calories and stay in a caloric deficit. Find your tdee value with a tdee calculator and stay with your set deficit. You don't need to work out for this but it will help.

Do it every day. Don’t even think about it, just do it, make it part of your routine. Once you give yourself an excuse not to go, more and more excuses follow. You can eat what you want as long as you work it all off but if you’re looking to lose weight, eat healthy. Greens, veggies, stuff like that. Chicken and protein will help with the workouts. Exclude the bad things you know you shouldn’t have. This can suck but give it a week or two and it just becomes regular. Same thing with the workouts, don’t give yourself excuses to eat like shit thinking you’ll make up for it later. Bottom line is that it’s simple, and you know what you must do, and you just have to do it, no matter how much it might suck. After a few days or weeks you will realize it doesn’t suck at all and makes you feel good about yourself. You have one body, work to make it better, something you’re not ashamed of

You don't understand how the body works, you are not losing weight because of the diet, you're body has to deal with your change in eating habits and will lose fat fast, then it will decline till the effect of your diet starts to settle in

but really its about vitamins/minerals and activity. I would suggest only eating between the hours of 1pm and 9pm. When you wake up drink like a liter of water and then thats it aside from coffee/tea until you hit your late-ish lunch.
When you do eat, make sure its high in protein and get some real vegetables in you. Stay away from rice, pasta, bread as much as you can. Do to your local health food store or grocer and get some root or herb powders to supplement your diet. This will inevitably keep you from eating more because your body is actually getting what it needs to function and your brain isn't trying to respond to malnourishment. It will help you shit better too which is key.
Stay away from sugar as well unless you know youre gonna be active enough to burn it off easily.
Walk as much as you can....this is easier if you live in a city of course but even shit like taking a train or a bus is gonna get you off your fat ass more. If you have a desk job, stop sitting so much and at least take a break once an hour to stretch out or something.
Exercise 30min at least 5 days a week. Fuck that HIIT bullshit, its not going to help you develop a healthy habit of exercise, and may actually make you sore and develop an injury, in which case you'll be back on your fat ass jerking off on Cred Forums in no time.

I don´t know why, but walking is way more effective than bicycle or even jogging. It doesn´t wake up your appetite so much, and if combined with a food plan (not diet), it is just great.
