I'm 30 and it took 6 months to conceive.
It took that long because I was on BC for YEARS. Doctor was exactly right when he said it would take about 6 months for my system to go back in order

Haha yes it is honestly. It's of my fun consisted of drinking a beer or 2 with my husband. Be it out at a bar or at home. It really was an enjoyable time...now I cant do that.
I've tried to go to the bar and not drink and just enjoy the atmosphere but being at a bar sober is the worst lol

This week I should have my 2nd IUI attempt, but it didn't happen because my ovaries got overstimulated again... So now I have 4 follicles ready to pop eggs, but the doc advised us to not have sex...

Ah damn well I hope things work out for you. I've always been a but ignorant towards the people who cant conceive. I never realized how hard they tried and how much money the spend on all these treatments. While I just stopped my pill and was able to get pregnant just fine. It makes me feel like I really underestimated my body.
So have you seen if it was a fertility issue on your man's end?

And I ALWAYS said I wanted a boy but my husbands family is all boys and they really wanted a girl so I was honestly hoping for a girl to break the curse for them but sadly I wasnt strong enough lol it's a boy! But it's good for my end because it's what i originally wanted and my side of the family is all girls so i finally get to give my dad a grandson!

Even tho the cause of infertility is unexplained Im guessing its related to my husband since I've been through many tests and everything was ok and on the other hand his sperm motility appears to be kinda low...

Luckily fertility treatments are not expensive here in Denmark since healthcare is provided by the government.

How much do you think it’s gonna cost you to have this baby? Between the ultrasounds, tests, and of course the actual delivery? Expecting father from Canada here, I’m just kinda curious because we haven’t had to spend a cent yet.

Well cooking is my main hobby really.

Well nothing for me. I have state insurance because I make below a certain income. Because of that. All baby related care is free for me

Cost? I have a 9yo and I haven’t seen a medical bill for him yet. Oh maybe a $5 prescription here or there, but it’s typically free until he’s 18 if nothings changed recently. All medical, dental etc. Private health is good if you want to rush a non urgent surgery or something, but not really necessary.
