theres a place we order from pretty regularily. its on the edge of my buddies neighborhood we could literally walk there if we wanted. we always order $50+ every order, without fail. they have a $4.99 delivery fee. and we're beyond regulars. finally we had enough and now just go pick up and they give us dirty ass looks every time we pick up. we straight up told them their delivery fee is bullshit, we're less than a mile away and if the fee was dropped we'd gladdly give that $4.99 to the driver instead. but no. so fuck em. they just lost ~$150-$200 a week from us.

Continued to pay the $5 fee + a $10 tip for awhile while I asked the franchise owner if they would consider waiving the fee since I am so close and always tipped. I mean I get having a minimum addon for having to drive to the edge of the delivery area for some trailer park guy that never tips.
In the end, he said nope, and I replaced that $15 of delivery charges with 5/$15 frozen pizza night.
