I don't know how long you claim to be in the mil, or what branch, but in 1.5 years as a recruiter, I couldn't find but one kid who qualified to join without violating an Army regulation to get in. I wouldn't sacrifice my integrity to get people in, which is why my station commander hated me. He was more than happy to falsify background checks and other official paperwork to get people in, but he'd never deployed. I refused to do that, because I saw the quality of soldiers that came in who had recruiters that were more worried about "making mission" instead of "who would I want fighting next to me."

When he asked me if I still wanted to be infantry, and I said "yes," he got pissed off and sent me to one of his regular guys, an infantryman. I was honest with my final recruiter, and he was honest with me. The culture of lying to recruits has to end. I never lied to my prospects, which is why in the 1.5 years I was a recruiter I only managed to get one guy in. I refused to lie to kids. Well I have been in the industry for 15 years, don't have a drug problem, super healthy, just bought my second house. I invested 60k this year (other than the house), and vacationed in Tahiti in one of those bungalows on stilts and Dubai. So yeah I would say my mental health is doing pretty great.

Yeah it just goes to show that I have expendable resources, so if I needed counseling or anything I could afford it... Not to mention my company babies me so if I need anything health wise they will pay for it. Typically vacations are going to lower stress levels too, helping mental health, and worrying about money/failure are another major detractor.

And, as I mentioned before: I am not weak like you. So I am more resistant to non-hereditary mental illness.

She was 22, didn't know shit about America even though she was a white girl. She had to get a GED before she shipped to basic. Sometime that year they tightened shit up.
