omfg yes
i didn't even know this song in the 90s but it just sounds like the most nostalgic shit ever.. the dated alternative rock.. the rage quitting adults.. all of it
youtube.com

I cry every time this comes on the radio. youtube.com
>live by the sea
>never experienced a summer romance

Sleepyhead, every time.
youtu.be
oh shit, 1979
great pick, top tier nostalgia for sure
Oh shit my first gf loved this show and made me borrow her DVDs. Never got past the first minutes and we'd make out. Had totally forgot about this. Good times, ty.
that song came out in 1995
thatd be like a song out now reminiscing about 2004
yo don't fuck with my brain like this
GTA vice city came out in 2002, which was a nostalgic game about 1986
if rockstar made a game with that same nostalgic time gap it would take place in 2004
I didn't need to know that user.
I had just started college when this game came out and it makes me feel nostalgic
cant imagine the nostalg id feel if i had been playing it when I was 8
This one too, didn't know that was finnish.

the 60s truly is a long lost era
we'll never experience a slow simple life lacking any sort of advanced technology
No AIDS and I guess more sex?
La noire theme but I don’t feel like linking it
gaylo 3
No sailing on sail boats with QT's? youtube.com
sure, this too
and wasting time / hanging out irl instead of on the internet
I was just thinking about this today while bored at work, how technology has sped up the pace of life
and how different things are now from just 20 years ago
the speed of the Internet has completely revolutionized how we consume movies, music, games almost everything
there's so much to get distracted by now
in the past you'd flip around the tv channels and if there wasnt anything interesting on tv youd go do something else
now with streaming theres always something good on and sometimes I find myself crippled by choice of quality entertainment options
i sometimes miss being at the mercy of what was airing at that hour
even though i agree with this on some level, it's a terrible system in retrospect.. like.. would you really get up to do something else, or just sit in front of the TV and watch something boring just because it's easier than attempting to do something else that will end up being equally boring? i suspect the latter
at least now there's the option to watch something you're actually interested in instead of the Nth rerun of Gilligan's Island
but yes, the way we consume things is waaaay faster, easier, and more accessible than before
the couch potato lifestyle is ridiculously convenient nowadays
I liked how you'd discover some movie or song on tv and even feel kinda proud/luckky nobody recommend it to you. The only thing between guys and girls was shyness, now every woman has hundreds of followers on FB or IG, why would anyone pay attention to you?
yeah no wonder social media has caused a drastic increase in depression/anxiety/suicide among young teenagers... with girls especially... this whole internet thing is for the better and the worst to mindblowing extremes
>this whole internet thing is for the better and the worst to mindblowing extremes
yea man, as technology advanced and evolved I don't think humans had enough time to evolve psychologically to be able to handle and process it but oh well its where we are now
yep!
>oh well its where we are now
on Cred Forums, of all places....
Kind of gay but this song. Takes me back to 2012 Army basic training, Sand Hill Ft Benning GA. This 7ft tall mean lookin drill let us listen to music on the bus while he was taking us to the gas chambers. This is what was on the radio.

Teens and young adults go beach camping as friends or couples during holy week in my country it's a tradition, theres a lot of dancing, drinking and fun. Never got to experience that and always thought I would, I got a couple of gfs and shit but never did that stuff. Guess I still can.

Back in my edge lord days when I actually had friends and stuff. Not into it anymore but can't get over a couple of songs, including this one. I just love the sound.
youtube.com
The only problem with this song is that it's the first song in the soundtrack, and nothing else in the game can live up to it
You know it!!

Fun thread guys, experienced some strong feelings.
glad you liked it!
dont know why you want to fuck up those feelings by reminding me of that little FASD faggot
This one, for sure, "Ballad of the Trumpet," or, "Balada de la trompeta." The first video is in Spanish, and the second one is in English.
Is that music your mom used to listen? An arsty tall girl used to listen to this.
youtube.com
Unfortunately, I do not know of the artist in the video you posted, except just by name. Yet, I independently had come to appreciate Raphael's 1969 song, "Balada de la trompeta," and its live-in-London English language counterpart, "The Sound of the Trumpet." My parents are not interested in that music, and I am not even Hispanic, or a native speaker of Spanish. Here is a great live rendition in Spanish of the song!
I also found that one song in the film, "Balada triste de la trompeta," which has a title based on that song. It's named "The Last Circus" for English audiences, though. Here are a couple of notable scenes within the film that have the song playing prominently.
Can't watch them in my country. Good song though.
Oh, sorry. I live in America, and they are available here.
I was about to post the same song haha
"Truth is i tought it mattered. I thought music mattered. But does it really? Bollocks! Not compared to how people matter."
Also, the inspiration of that song is this Italian song. It's also great, with the same melody.
Any more nostalgic music you guys like?
i died
World of Warcraft grizzly hills day music. Look it up yourself.
