They have cameras set for close up, distance and above, but only show the chairs explode from above or far. I call bullshit on the first video. I don't doubt that a cheap china chair can explode though. Just make sure that your chair has a 1/4 inch (6mm) steel plate between the cylinder and the cushion. Most office chairs are made this way.There's no way the weight of even a whole American slamming down on the chair will cause air to bust through the plate. The chair legs will likely give way first. That blue round chair just had wood between the cylinder and the cushion.
