My girlfriend borrowed my iPad (from which I had log out from Chrome) and after a while, her Chromein her computer(which I never logged in to) was displayingautofills for my accounts and passwordswhile she accessed with her Account. It seems thather account inherited my credentialseven after I had logged out. Today I tested with her and she could log in just fine as long as there was no two-steps verification.
Worst part is that I was searching for Support from Google, but there are only those FAQ, certainly not including thishugesecurity issue. I trusted Google Chrome with my passwords, and I'm very disappointed by the lack of real human support...
Anyone else having problems with the Google password manager showing passwords even after signing out please report it at the google chrome help community so that Google can fix it.
Stop sucking Googles cock and use Firefox with private browsing as default. Add ublock, noscript, https everywhere and wipe your cache with ccleaner after you're done.
I usually use brave with duckduckgo and https everywhere. But I use lightshot for convenient image search and it uses google.
Also, isn't noscript a bit extreme for everyday use?

I wouldn't trust the word of a company that gives people access to their partners' accounts

Yes.
And chrome is perfectly fine as long as you don't have an account and save shit.
People take that privacy shit waaaaay too far.

I made my firefox security strict. and then tried to install cclaenaer, but maybe its blockin the install pop up? i paid for a vpn a while back, should i use that as default? would that obviate using these security measures? Is a chrome account the same as a google account, like for gmail.? I just dont want moshe tracking my memes when i go on Cred Forums
Leo Sanchez
Yeah, don't use Google's password manager unless you want parole to have those passwords.
Use LastPass. It's a ton better.

Literally all you need is to obscure your traffic and don't use a gmail account when you use chrome. Like how chrome has an option to sign in and save all your shit, don't do that and you're good.
Doing anymore than that for everyday use is taking shit too far, it becomes inconvenient. And if you really need privacy, have a USB with a linux install and boot to that to view your horse porn.

thanks. Im just worried about getting suicided for saving antisemitic memes

>I trusted Google Chrome with my passwords Just don't. Use a password manager and your security will be greatly increased. I recommend keepass. It has all the features you can ask for (password generator, autocompletion, etc) it's free and has compatibility with a lot of systems. Also it's one of those password managers that store the db locally.
Go ask on Cred Forums you will get more helpful answers, but more importantly you will be mocked 10 times harder and the world can always use more laughter. Google apps are bad, Apple hardware is worse, then you got dumb faggots like OP that use both at the same time. >inb4 iPhone is best phone cope more, iPhones are fucking normie tier shit. Remember how it took like 5 fucking years for people to even be able to copy and paste text or multitask on iOS devices?

Google password manager is an opt in feature. It's enabled on all Google browsers that you're signed into with your gmail. It's not an issue, you just didn't read what you were signing up for.

Use mozilla + duckduckgo and you wont ever have any problems
This is why you don't use google chrome. Especially not with googles password manager or a google account/sync. Consider switching to Firefox. If you must use chrome then use Bitwarden or Keepass as a password manager instead.

It’s had the female Snapchat filter applied you absolute simpering cuck

I was working a job where I had to recover credentials from an IT guy that quit randomly on bad terms with the company and I was able to pull all his passwords in plain text from chrome.
Trusting Google is one thing. Trusting a woman is another. Dumbass.

What the fuck kind of a retard saves their password with software and assumes it's safe, you deserve to be hacked.

I bought a used computer. Former owner deleted most of the content, even uninstalled Firefox. Recuva didn't retreived anything. When I installed Firefox it asked to recover local saved settings. When I went to Facebook, the login page has preloaded credentials due to the recover settings options and even the whole browser was logged in to an account. Never save accounts to this browser if you don't know how to properly delete it.

listen for what the password managers cost it is worth getting an actual password manager. Google is great if you dont give a fuck about other users or whatever but if you want actual security, use a real password manager.
