wtf is the exercise? Do you want k?
Yes, basically, they ask me to find the K
Det = -32*k
and Det = 64,
so -32*k = 64 => k = -64/32 = -2
Can you send me a picture with the exercise? I don't want to copy it, I just want to understand it better in photo, believe me I don't want to just do the exercise, I want to understand
this might help
This user is right. You have to take the determinant of the matrix.
thanks, now I am understanding the exercise better, really thanks, could you explain another 2 that I have?
You need to obtain the determinant, is
3k*[2*(-3) - 3*2] - 1*[2k*(-3) - k*2] + (-1)*[2k*3 - k*2] = 64
Just out of curiosity, where are you from? Just country, nothing especific.
You just need to calculate the determinant of a 3*3 matrix.
does this for you.
I'm from Venezuela friend, I'm basically spending my megabytes because I can't publish it on the internet but hey, my math teacher doesn't explain shit and also hates me
sure post them
Piss easy
Do they want k or the eigenvalue as well?
64 = 3K [ 2(-3) - 3(2) ] -1 [ 2K(-3) - K(2) ] -1 [ 2K(3) - K(2) ]
64 = 3K [-12] -1 [-8K] -1[4K]
64 = -36K + 8K - 4K
64 = -36K + 4K
64 = -32K
64 / (-32) = (-32) K / (-32)
-2 = K
here goes one, I already publish the other
Do you have a textbook?
If you don't, I recommend Axler's Linear Algebra, which you can get here

Anons will probably give me shit because it's kind of a meme, but it's the best book I know of, and its pretty compact.
This is the other one, I'm doing the one to find K
thank you all user, I was really very busy but you did me a great favor
I'm not entirely sure what is asking for.
The solution to can be obtained by
pattern matching with the formula given in .
A x B x C = (A x B) x C
A x B = < 0 , -18 , 30 >
A x B x C = < - 132 , -90 , 54 >
Angle between B, C:
> = cos-1 [ ( B . C ) / |B| |C| ]
Fucked up here: It's not < 0 , -18, 30 > but < 0 , 18, 30 >
Therefore A x B x C is < 12 , 90 , -54 >
unless im retarded this one should be -30
i'm not understanding anything user
I doubt that you are trying to find my IP or whatever, and a friend did it once
