Season 3 is far better than the first two because it's the first one they did without Monty so the quality of literally everything is a thousand times better. It's also where what little story there is starts to twist around a bit and the season doesn't end on a nice, clean note like the first two.

I've gotten over the less than a year timeskip as being alright, but I'm still kinda peeved at the timeskip in general. I was expecting vol 4 to be about the journey there, with lots of adventures and world-building and shit, instead we get skipped to them already arriving there.
I'm actually hoping for flashbacks to the time spent travelling there.
