Single issues are almost never worth it. Almost five bucks for something with less shit to read than a grocery store magazine? It's just not good value. Not to mention it's all flimsy, loaded with ads, and like only 10% of a story arc if that.

The only time I buy single issues is if they're discounted in a bundle, or old ass backissues stores are trying to get rid of for a buck each. TPBs are better because even though they're expensive, they tend to be solid collections that tell a whole story and look good on a bookshelf.
