well thats convoluted

ayy lmao

Sucks to be that one wavelength.

This ship's captain was Marx then, right?

not sure how I feel about this alt universe stuff

Kind of cheapens the whole post-apocalyptic survival theming

True, but i feel that it can still work as long as the only character that jump through realities is marx, and not the main cast the story focuses on.
If that happens THEN it will feel cheap.

True, I expect something like that to happen though. If it doesn't I'll be okay. Maybe that's why I have mixed feelings. It COULD ruin the story but only if it goes in that direction.

Tis what happened when I played Bioshock Infinite.

I feel that the variation in the wavelength is Marx - he prepared the world to 'survive in limited manner." Somehow while Lucarians (or whatever they're called) seek material goods after the war, I is busy harvesting the pain, grief and souls. There might be a bigger plot here but so far I'll give Aaron benefit of doubt

As much as I liked BS:I's setting, visuals and some of the story elements, there was a lot of questionable decisions along the way and signs of the game design overdone 3-4 times

Obligatory

Not really considering Marx made sure this earth did have survivors.

Interesting. So something happened in this earth that make people living there survive in a wavelength where every earth was supposed to die. Now it was either the virus or you know who. Also very interesting how Lucranians scavenge other dimensions

I don't worry too much about the alt universes stuff, I trusth in Aaron to make it work, and at difference of the hack Levine I doubt that he likes to feel stupid writting a story about something he barely understands

What a minute, mutants were saved by Marx and such but what about Topsiders?

Doesn't this mean that them existing is some extraordinary chance as well?

Guys, I think Aaron is running out of things to do with Wally.
I just feel it.
We're not gonna see Kirbee again.

>We're not gonna see Kirbee again.

why's that?

The fuck you going on about?

I don't know why this comic insists on this multiverse crap.

It's at its best when it's just drama surviving in furry fallout world, I just check out so hard anytime we get dragged into this convoluted garbage.

I mean fuck, the premise is already high concept enough. We don't need this shit.

Such a shame because otherwise this comic is so high quality.

>We're not gonna see Kirbee again.

She will die soon, so you are somewhat correct.

>She will die soon, so you are somewhat correct.

Oh user, you card.

wishful thinking

I don't agree. I feel the Fallout wasteland doom and gloom stuff is worn out and predictable at this point.

I do not want this series to deteriorate into some "Wally and his gang travel to a new island of survivors in the wasteland - what at first looks like hope turns out to be trouble!" routine.

But there's no reason it has to be that repetitive, you can revitalize something without constantly jumping the shark like this.

Well, since Marx was introduced it was pretty obvious that we will keep getting more of this stuff, I don't really mind the explication that the computer give was kind of neat.
>the premise is already high concept enough
C'mon, it's the typical post-apocaliptic story but with the twist that everyone here transforms into a furrie

>implying that cutout is proof of anything

>C'mon, it's the typical post-apocaliptic story but with the twist that everyone here transforms into a furrie
and dittos
and robots with furry brains placed inside
and people's mutations being dependent on their state of consciousness during infection
and a madness that gives you crazy cosmic awareness

There is PLENTY going on here that makes it more than just a typical post-apocalyptic story

>since Marx was introduced
a mistake that should have been quickly ignored and forgotten about. Making him central to the story is the comic's single greatest misstep.

Like? Topsiders destroyed pretty much any way to go outside when they launched the satellite. And you can't use dittos since you don't like the interdimensional stuff and they are part of it they have to be written out. You can make everything happen in Endtown, yes, but in time gets boring because you don't get to now the world outside it.

>you can't use dittos since they are part of the interdimensional stuff

Except they don't have to be, that was literally only just revealed. There are a million less shark-jumpy explanations they could have come up with.

theres plenty they can do on the surface, all kinds of weird settlements they can visit.
>but the top siders
They've found plenty of ways around them before (mostly dittos, which again, on their own I don't have an issue with.) the thing about a story is you can always find a way for things to happen, the reason just doesn't have to be some obnoxious multiverse Doctor Who crap

>implying that it isn't

How's the multiverse stuff "shark jumping"? I know that is not liked by everyone but that doesn't make the comic an unreadable mess.

This.
IMO, the comic is best when it's discussing things like the separation between body and mind or what society would be like in a post-apocalypse.

Wait ... So this planet was supposed to die.
Instead everyone was turned into monsters and furries due to yet understood reasons.
And this is yet understood reasons for people who travel and understand the Multiverse as their 9to5

Fuck

I'm not sure what exactly "World War III" contains. Was it just the bombs? Did the other Earths had the mutagen? Was the mutagen different?

I've seen this panelbuilding before, a lot of trivia and zero action. it's the end credits rolling.

one difference is surely sparkplug's discovery that can immunize you against amesworth radiation.
If we didn't already know the dittos tortured him to get nourishment from his negative response I'd have said that they're angry at him finding a protection against the amesworth weapons, because that might be one of the reasons why the world isn't doomed and the dittos are stranded.

>Endtown takes place on the one version of Earth that escaped the fate of total apocalypse the pile of realities it's buried in all share.
>The ship Wally and co. are on was owned by a Lucranian captain that had to abandon his salvage expedition when he realized the planet was inexplicably not a dead husk like all the dead realities bordering Endtown's
>Lucranians are somehow able to fabricate these ships out of materials found in the realities they're scavenging from, and because of this the ship had to be abandoned as well
Goddamn, Wally looks like he's just trying to comprehend that the reality of his situation is even more ridiculous than he thought.

Alright, assuming that the ship is only partially made out of materials salvaged from the reality being raided, that'd explain why it looks like a normal ship on the outside despite having incredibly advanced technology inside.
As far as the Earth somehow not being utterly destroyed by the war, I'm with in blaming Marx, at least in part, since we've already seen his machinations in play with Endtown's construction, the mutants being led to it, and the rats waiting to escort the refugees.
Granted there hasn't been any explicit proof Marx was involved beyond Endtown's initial construction, since I don't think Farx was ever undeniably proven to be Marx in any way.
The real question is, why the hell would Marx give a shit about this one particular version of Earth if that's the case?
Did he just try and fail to save the other realities?
If Marx had the rats occupying Endtown and ready to bring in the refugees, where did he find them?
Are the rats actually Lucranians?

Sorry for rambling to no one, I just wanted to write out my thoughts on the exposition from the page to get them sorted and maybe have things clarified where I'm wrong about something.

I don't understand all this future tech babble.

Or there is a worst time traveling fuck then Marx out there!
Let's hope it's Marx.

I seriously hope this arc ends soon. We have spent way too much time with Wally and Holly. I want the comic to get back to Endtown.

i don't think it will end anytime soon, we still have Kirbee's backstory to tackle before going back to endtown.

I'm kind of with you on that.
I don't hate the multiverse idea in general, but it just feels really at odds with what we've been seeing from Holly and Wally's story in general.
Personally, I'd prefer this whole multiverse deal were happening to a different set of characters entirely, while only lightly touching on Holly and Wally's or Al and Gustine's lives occasionally to keep everything feeling grounded in one universe.

Pretty sure Aaron said Walt and Dottie have an arc after this one. Don't recall him saying that Kirbee gets a backstory subplot.

She does

Yes, next arc is Dottie and Walt, True... however he's not dedicating an entire arc for Kirbee's backstory, she might get a (hopefully short) flashback in this very same ship.

>The real question is, why the hell would Marx give a shit about this one particular version of Earth if that's the case?
Given that we're talking about Marx I wouldn't be surprised if it result that he just flip a coin to decide what version of this earth save.

I recall Aaron saying that the arc ends at the end of the year. I also recall he saying that Kirbee will get a backstory but I don't think it will be in this arc, with how there's only 4 and a half months to end the year I don't see Kirbee's flashback fitting here without feeling rushed or just info dumping.

>but it just feels really at odds with what we've been seeing from Holly and Wally's story in general.
I think the problem it's how is introduced, like you say it's odd to see this with Wally and Holly because in their story that plot doesn't really have any place or direct relation with them and sometimes it feels that it came out of nowhere. Kind of like your idea of making this the main plot for another set of characters.

Just because other universes exist, does not make yours any less real.

This photo should be posted more often.

for what purpose? it only gives people false hope.

I hope it would trigger more people, to be honest.

So you basically want to start shit

>because in their story that plot doesn't really have any place or direct relation with them and sometimes it feels that it came out of nowhere
Basically I just feel like the whole multiverse issue is the Resident Evil 5 to Holly and Wally's Resident Evil 4
Not bad, just out of place
I'm hoping that series is popular enough to reference on Cred Forums

I guess.

This is as convoluted as the brain cars and machines.
This is not a waifu survival drama.

The door is over there, feel free to leave any time.

>This is not a waifu survival drama.

dropped

So does this mean that the town of Endtown now has a reality shifting starship at their disposal?

I doubt it would, but I still wanna see it happen

But I'm defending the strip?

I thought you weren't.

>Not bad, just out of place
I don't even feel it out of place it's just that the way that gets merger with the story doesn't gets handled pretty well. Also:
>Resident Evil
>not popular enough

Are you affirming?

>kirbeefags trying to start shit

i can't wait for this arc to finally end.

Brainstorm with me, guys

what does a Lucranian look like?

spheres of energy

who read books?

...

Nerdy spheres of energy

then why bother with human sized doors?

And notice how the ditto AI took on a humanoid face before it began speaking english.

True, now that I think about it: what if lucranians are just humans who can travel between dimenions and the deadeyes are like their police or something like that?

where the fuck is aaron even going with this?

fuck, as attached to Wally as I am lets just move onto the new arc already. holly dies, wally runs off with kirbee, they raise chic together, the end.

>where the fuck is aaron even going with this?
You know, thickening the plot

Stand users

So where do the alternate Endtown and Alt-U female Marx fit into this? Is it like looooooong streaks of dead Earths with Marx's pet "live" Earths in between?

>a mistake that should have been quickly ignored and forgotten about. Making him central to the story is the comic's single greatest misstep.
Yup. Kinda dreading the day when Aaron reveals the entire comic has just been a roundabout way of setting up the Aaron Marx comic he always wanted to do.

Probably something synonymous with greed, big eyes, maybe a long singular finger like an eyeye, maybe a black beak and feathers like a crow or mockingbird.

Also, looking good DK!

>Resident Evil 5 to Holly and Wally's Resident Evil 4
>Not bad, just out of place

Basically everyone gets triggered by the teleporting asshole and the milqtoast hero demonstrating super human powers.

All we need is Holly turning into a crazy blonde psycho and... Huh?

God, I always forgot how they basically turned Wesker into Neo.

Pretty basic multiverse explanation.

What they don't mention is how there are an infinite number of those wavelengths.

Whenever the cosmic not-cosmic debate comes up this song comes up in my head.
youtu.be/1hKSYgOGtos

I don't know how it applies but it seems like it does. What do you think?

Anyway, just popping in to say that game time is as normal, 12pm pst/ 3pm est. I just haven't been able to complete a formal update and thus a formal update post. I'll post that later.

Aaron did say that his Marx and Free Energy comic was cannon. Makes you wonder if the reason lucranians can't deal with habited worlds is because jumping can destroy that dimension?

I kinda like the fact that apparently every other "adjacent" Earth in this wavelength of realities is completely devoid of life due to the war.

Just presumably a few million people alive (if that), and trillions upon trillions more turned to dust.

That shit's dark.

Think about this: maybe this reality was supposed to die.

But thanks to the mutagen virus, many mutants went underground, death camps were made with bunkers to resist the virus, and thanks to this many of them managed to survive and thrive in this world.

Maybe I exists just to finish the job due to tampering with the natural course of this reality.

So, in a multiverse of infinite possibilities, this earth was supposed to be doomed alongside a couple billion other earths that were the same except for a minimal difference or two. But it ultimately didn't happen because Marx intervened and saved it.
That would explain why Eye kept babbling about how everyone should be dead and in his possession. It was supposed to happen, but didn't.

So, what's Marx endgame?

Why is he so surprised and confused? Didn't he get this information from Mallard, who in turn got it from Marx?

...

>So, what's Marx endgame?
>tfw Marx was the bad guy all this time because he altered the natural orden of this universe
>but the others still have to help becuase letting the good guys win means that they will die

you know if this is the major plot in the future we have to worry about, i like it.

Means eventually Marx will die.

I feel like there's an subtle and perhaps unintentional reason the RPG has come to focus on the postapoc/posthuman/furry stuff and barely gives lipservice to Marx and Eye, and it's not the lack of info.

>and it's not the lack of info.
It's because of two reasons. First, nobody likes the Marty Stu nature of Marx. Second, it's because the players are just in it to roleplay their furry characters in a new setting.

>Marx created unnatural fragment universes when he shattered his own
>I is just the natural healing mechanism of the universe erasing the fracture wholesale
>Marx, an unnatural abberation himself, is making things worse by trying to preserve the facets of his old reality
>While he appears to be protecting them from I, his Endtown End-Game is actually reversing the shattering and restoring his own universe at the expense of Wally and Holly's world, and others

so is it bad to turn into a furry?

Kinda sucks. Hair is itchy as fuck, you lose a finger on both hands, you're most likely smaller than a manlet, you may get new parts that are awkward as hell to use, maybe even lose body parts you once had, and you're hunted day and night by shrinkwrapped humans with insta-death guns.

Some of them, yeah. I'm just in it because I thought the Endtown RPG idea was cool around conception and wanted to get in on a RPG game after two years or so of inactivity.

I'm there just for the character interaction and drama. It's amusing.

Well yes. That's what I was alluding to. The drift in focus of the official RPG as more confirmation that few fans are particularly interested in Marx and the multiverse stuff and most are more interested in the postapoc setting and furry angst stuff.

...

I don't really understand why anyone would be over upset over the content of today's update . If anything this is nothing but good news in terms of the story. We already knew there where multiverses, hell if you knew Aaron's works it was canon form the get go. But now we know endtown is unique which makes the stakes in the story much more real. There's no having marx "go to the endtown next door over to borrow a cup of sugar" or "well they're dead in this universe but what about another parallel universe where they didn't!".

Hell this even makes marx a better character in the grand scheme of things (a feat I didn't think was possible). Before it felt like endtown was just kind of a pet project but now its more like a fair bit of effort. He's still the worst character but he's now a little bit higher than "Le Epic Dr.Who Man of many dimensions".

Well we know that Aaron loves the opabinia, so my guess is something with a proboscis with a claw at the end.

Feels like there's a mismatch between this and the alternate stuff we've already seen and that Aaron's spoken of before. Makes me wonder if there's a bit of a retcon going on.

Well, Aaron hasn't really explained to me the multiverse setting so I haven't written much about it. I don't want to write something not cannon so I am in a holding pattern on that. No nevermind that I had Topsiders listed as a alt rock group that kills people for poor taste in music.

As a GM I've always gone for the mud and blood stories. Never seem to write the 'do this or world dies' sort of things. I don't touch on Marx or dimensional stuff because I don't understand how it works in the setting... That and I would expect players to throw everything at Marx until they are swinging broken bloody stumps to get the satisfaction of linking him out.

Believe it or not the level of OC favoritism is pretty normal for a pen and paper RPG. You write a character and detail by detail you make them. Even if it's a combination of random numbers and words, it's your random combination of numbers and words!

You've got to pay the toll troll to get the ship into the hole!!

Personally, I've been watching the RPG with interest and I'm pretty happy that it seems to be focusing on the stuff I actually find appealing, rather than the stuff that's always felt, to me, more like Aaron went "...and also, THIS, because it personally appeals..." when he was plotting the story...

some would argue that all life being exquinguised would be a mercy compared to suffer what jim suffered.

Is it just me, or does it feel a little strange seeing Flask after all this time has passed?

A friendly user messaged me, and requested a cute flask putting on lipstick.

>Is it just me, or does it feel a little strange seeing Flask after all this time has passed?
Nah, It's like when you see a old friend after so many years. Nice art as always

I also received a wonderful gift in the mail, and I wanted to share with you all. Especially you Allie lovers...You know who you are...

Good stuff Jamil
And I'm loving that

Hey, nice! I always thought Flask applies makeup with a turkey baster.

Enjoy the vacation?

Oh come on, Sarah wasn't even that good of a lay.

>turkey baster
What do you mean user?

>Enjoy the vacation?
Juggling projects and such, there's no such thing.
But it's nice to able to post and share some stuff with y'all. Thanks.

Bump

Fuck yeah, Ediacaran fauna!

Okay, okay, here is the content I've been tinkering with this week:

>Lucranian Ships: Scrompers of the skies. Long story short they are big, full of dittos, and a talking squiggly face in the center. Pretty much a campaign in a box.
>Special Weapons: Traps: Rope traps, bear traps. Basically, rope trap is a trigger, bear traps do damage. Make a trap with an invention roll and the opponent rolls perception to see the trap before they trip is. Well, the GM rolls anyway.
>Stat Ability: Mind: Leadership. Gives a target one of your actions through inspiration, confidence, and shouting. Roll 1d100+mind and score over 80. Takes an action. Being a Mastermind really means you're the giving sort, huh? Whatever, it'll need tweaking.

I think has the right idea. Lucranians aren't aliens as far as I know, they're Earthers. Opinbinias are basically in the book as 'everything that fails in an organism' which is about as alien as you can get. So that's sort of a big candidate for your alternate dimension stories where something that failed actually succeeds.

Someone's never heard the backbiting of women, I see. It means that her makeup is applied very thick. The logic is that ugly>uses too much makeup to cover ugly> makeup is thick>Gravy is thick> Gravy makes you fat and ugly>You are ugly and apply your makeup with a gravy baster because you are a ugly meatloaf.

Same as
>You put the makeup on with a paintbrush.

Ah, I forgot to note. Size classes play a big part in traps I wanted to give a plus to tiny characters, as they would have traps fly over them but don't think I quite got it. See you in ten(hours)!

>books sewn together by their back
two heads?
eye stalks?
And probably four arms

I can see them reading both sides at once to be faster; time's money, and I'd rather gain than lose it.

WAIT WAIT WAIT

if all the universes around the main Earth are dead ... Where did the Leonardo Devinci gum come from? I mean if they're all dead no one to leave the gum on the table, and therefore no gum to show.

Ships fueled by emotional energy...

I guess the universe it came from died a peaceful death after the gum was placed on the table. Or maybe it was a non-dead universe where endtown was never used and the gum was just left there.

RIP Valerie. You tried your best to redeem yourself.

fug i lost track of time and forgot about saturday

Easily the toughest session so far, but at least it's almost over now.

We still need to talk with Flask

well I didn't say it was over, hope we can wrangle up something.

Yeah. I might grab Everett for that really. Last thing he needs is more trouble for you guys. Plus he can flash his Deep City badge.

Anyway, I'm gonna repost this to rub some salt into the wounds.

More blood soaks the soil, feeding the evil therein.

Oh the irony of it all.

That's the saddest moment really. He couldn't repay the debt.

Here you go, user.

So, Jon, you finally met this girl that's not so bad. She saves your life, kisses you on the lips. She geniunely cares for you, then for a brief moment you could've thought - maybe ask her out after all of this is over?

Endtown is the only thing in this picture that doesn't make me cringe. Yes, even the laminated card holders.

Given how he reacted, he felt more like unable to think of how to solve that situation and tried finding something new to do. No rage involved.

You're a silly person

Thanks Jamil. It's weird that I was drawing her screaming at her own ass just 12-or-so hours before drawing her dead.

Clay behaviour is similar to what I experienced - when something bad happens, you just want to get away as far as you can and concentrate on something else while in total disbelief that that happened.

Not even Marx could bring Flask back to life for more than just a few minutes.

Furries are still a weird, enigmatic bunch

Glad being one isnt neccisary to enjoy endtown

I don't see it.

>>tries to jump shark and change plot
We knew about the multiverse since Marx spoke with Mallard. Marx even said "this is my favorite version of Endtown" at some point.

Aaron's watercolors are such a delight.

Watercolours + Ink is always a delight to work with. S'been ages when I did it myself. Might be a good idea to try it over the weekend.

Same here. I think the last time I did it was in 2010.

Do it! We need these threads to be more creative and have more discussion. Too much waifufagging lately

Is Holly going to die?
Is holly going to kill Kirbee?
What?

Can you repeat the question?

YOURE NOT THE BOSS OF ME NOW

>Favourite version of Endtown
>Current comic suggests all other worlds on the Endtown part of the spectrum are now dead

Is it Marx's favourite because it's the only one he hasn't fucked up on saving?

Pretty much.

Basically saying they're not better off dead, yet.

She's always crazy, right now she's just the kind of crazy that scares small children and upsets people.

She tried to catch criminals by hiding in a suit case.

>She tried to catch criminals by hiding in a suit case.
You seem to forgot the cartoony part of this comic, you also seem to forgot how silly was de comic in his first years.

Wait, I wasn't supposed to laugh at the fish miscarriage?

More like fishcarriage

Am I the only one who really misses Albert and Gustine?

Yes

They were ok, their arcs were kind of boring sometimes

I did really like their arc and it was nice to see Al during the milk trial.

That was AFTER it became focused on drama.

No. I miss Albert the most.

But that didn't mean that the comic become serious instantly, it still have some silly parts for here and there

He's living on a Joker Earth.

By that point it was mostly serious, everyone mentioned how crazy Holly's stunt was.

I wonder if Aaron's a fan of the Long Earth series?

>By that point it was mostly serious
Exactly, mostly serious, it still allowed some silly things Holly's plan was one of those

No, I miss them as well.
I want to head back to Endtown to see what is going on. Also to see some of the old faces like Al,Gustine, Dottie, Maude, Petey etc. The comic has spent way too much time with Wally and Holly, imo.

This current arc has been kind of boring, and feels like it's starting to drag.

And the relation with Al and Gustine is?

You're in denial. Holly's plan being just early weirdness would be acceptable back in the time of bean-induced orgies and falling heads. In the time it happened it was seriously crazy and a red flag, along with how she reacted to Wally wanting to go topside. There were hints all over, stop being salty.

You know, it's kind of hard to tell sometimes with this comic.

>You're in denial.
Thanks, expert
>In the time it happened it was seriously crazy and a red flag
What? It was silly, but crazy? Nigga, it was played for the laughs even Wally was part of it and it read as the plot for a show for kids
>along with how she reacted to Wally wanting to go topside
You expect her to be happy for someone that was going to a suicide mission?
>There were hints all over, stop being salty.
>Hey guys, I think there was hints about Holly all this time
>Well, I don't think so
>lol you are salty

Not that user but, well, everybody says that the problem with Al and Gustine is that they're boring compared to what we have now yet the current story is also getting boring so would it really be that bad if they came back?

I don't even see what's so "boring", after they get out of Endtown, which doesn't take long, it's pure post-apocalyptic exploration/survival goodness.

Think Gustine is running a daycare like she was in the old comic?

>so would it really be that bad if they came back?
I never say that I didn't want them to come back, my problem with them is that their antagonists were more interesting than them.

I think Aaron is stalling.

I think the next arc is the endtown election and he's waiting to start it so it can occur during the US Presidential election between WigMan and Reptile Girl.

The constant breakaways to the global nukefest sure felt like filler...

>I think Aaron is stalling
I wouldn't say stalling but more like he extend it to much.
> it can occur during the US Presidential election between WigMan and Reptile Girl
Wait, so you are telling me that the next arc it's going to be an election reference? Because if that it's true these threads are gonna explote with the political discussion

That'd be adorable to see.

And tragic to boot.

Why do the bad men in white suits want to hurt us? When are Mom and Dad gonna come back from the scavenging mission?

>played for the laughs
>it read as the plot for a show for kids
But it wasn't, everything up to, during and after that point was serious. It's your fault if you misread the tone.

And yes, you're obviously very upset about this.

>But it wasn't, everything up to, during and after that point was serious
No everything, the comic can still be silly at times. Remember the fight between Doc and Mallard?
>And yes, you're obviously very upset about this.
If anything the upset here is you because I simply don't thing that part was serious at all.

>Remember the fight between Doc and Mallard?
It was humorous but that doesn't mean it wasn't a real fight.

>If anything the upset here is you because I simply don't thing that part was serious at all.
I was just saying how it is. I didn't know you weren't really looking for answers.

Are you implying that you didn't find that horrifying?

>It was humorous but that doesn't mean it wasn't a real fight.
It was still silly, but it doesn't matter since you think that fun is not allowed anymore in the comic

>I was just saying how it is.
No you wasn't, you just tell me that I was upset because I got to my own conclusions that differ from yours. If you want, just call me a faggot and let's get done with this

Reminder that Aaron himself seems to think the comic's gotten too dark... and that Kirbee is his attempt to lighten it...

Maybe he just needs to make a joke arc? I don't know something like a filler story that is just there to entertain the reader.

If anything, isn't the fact that only a fool would be happy in such circumstances rather dark in itself?

It could work, but definitely no in this arc were there's little to be happy he should have waited to things to calm down or until we go back to Endtown where people at least can pretend to be happy

>Story Arc that takes place on the other side of America
>It takes place in a western style town where anthro humans trade and rest known as "Shantytown"
>Story kicks off when the toasters of the town are stolen
>Two bounty hunters are off hunting the crook to bring him to justice and return the poor toasters to their rightful owners
>Hijinks ensue and the pair finally catch the culprit
>It's none other than Aaron Marx and his "partner" in crime Farx
>Marx introduces himself to the pair and tries to explain that he took the toasters for "The Greater Good"
>One of them decks him in the face before he does

>and that Kirbee is his attempt to lighten it...

>lighten it
>by killing the only optimistic and actually happy character in the comic

>>It takes place in a western style town where anthro humans trade and rest known as "Shantytown"
So basically Aaron's version of Jasper Gold?
Also, since we got a Buscemi reference it would be cool to see an anthro version of Clint Eastwood

>by killing the only optimistic and actually happy character in the comic
Which is...?

>Jasper Gold takes place in an alternate version of the Endtown universe
woah

user... everyone knows kirbee is gonna die eventually.

Aren't children the same species as their parents in Jasper Gold?

> Jamil and Aaron have been conversing in secret for a while now

Alternate universe means alternate mutant virus maybe

youtube.com/watch?v=WA5uEYqpZPw

>Marx eventually appears in Jasper Gold

Doubt, and if she does that will be dumb from Aaron's part, I mean why complain that his comic is getting too dark, add a character to make it more optimist to then kill said character? What was the point to do that if the result will make the comic even more darker than it already is?

When you think about it, Endtown can potentially crossover with any setting on Earth.

Hell, if inter-reality travel also covers galactic distances it could crossover with anything.

>>Marx eventually appears in Jasper Gold

>Jamil throws in a Farx cameo on his comic

The Fox With No Name.

I'm ALMOST willing to draw that

almost

DO IT
JUST
DO IT

DO IT FAGGOT

The good, the Bad and the unlikable one

You should draw Maude O'dell again, she looks cute in your style, also. can you post on trash that maude pic you made for Jamil a while back? the one where she's riding a wooden horse? if it's not too much to ask, of course.

Jeeze Shai LeBouf, I didn't know you were into horrible foxsonas of horrible characters

I reposted it, although now looking at that image I can only hate it because of the mistakes and the bad posing. Maybe I'll draw her again but I want to sleep now - it's 5 AM and I've finished writing 4 more pages of my doctorate.

>I reposted it

Thank you!, i really like that pic.

You know, when we found out Kirbee is Southern people just went "Oh." but when we figured out that Allie is latina the thread exploded.

Why was that?

>when we found out Kirbee is Southern people just went "Oh."
That's not true, I remember some people calling her a "southern belle" or something like that.
>Why was that?
waifufags circlejerking

>You know, when we found out Kirbee is Southern people just went "Oh."

people actually shat on that, claiming that it was the reason why she was dumb, "She's a southerner, That explains everything!"

> but when we figured out that Allie is latina the thread exploded.

Well, that was kinda odd, actually... even though her last name is alvarez, no one figured that until very late.

Realistically, Allie is not latina, at least Aaron's not sure yet, i remember asking him about it, but he never confirmed it. also, she does not have an accent, and if she did, it would be a very mild one. or at least that's what Aaron claimed.

We were comparing her seemingly antiquated speech to a Southern belle and believed she was Texan. Back then we didn't know that the Confederate States still existed. After one picture everyone just kinda went silent on that.

Meanwhile, Allie's discovery took up about half of the thread, though I guess it's because there wasn't much else to talk about, unlike the "haint water" in the ship. Also, we are happy to get ANYTHING about Allie because she's gone, I guess.

>She's a southerner, That explains everything!
Yeah, I remember that. We also made similar jokes with Allie, which were amazing.

>even though her last name is alvarez, no one figured that until very late
It became relevant only after her completed story allowed for jokes about it.

Also, Aaron confirmed that neither her or her close familiy are first generation, if she had any accent it would be from some of the oldest members but not likely.

Of course I did. I just wonder what Aaron thinks should be funny.

How did people not know she was latino?

She's a temperamental alcholic with dark hair and a big mouth.

Sounds like my mother

Crazy Holly is pretty much like my mother during her episodes.

>Crazy Holly
>not Buddy Holly

What I'm wondering is why hasn't there been an Allie picture with Dia de los Muertos makeup? Or is that in bad taste? Because she's dead.

Go sit in the corner user and think about what you said. Then once Aaron updates his comic, you can come back and join the class.

>Dia de los Muertos

>People thinks all latinos are mexicans

Friendly Reminder that holly was always crazy and her attachment to wally was driven by her traumatic past.

but at the time, we called it stubbornness and determination.

No, it wasn't only because you think it is it doesn't means that is real, we have this discussion millions of times

...

After Cred Forums needs to say more faggot

This.

better?

Yes, maybe before Cred Forums needs something like a valid argument or some text well redacted but for the moment it looks like the truly Cred Forums experience

>all this denial

Yes, everyone that doesn't agreed with you is in denial or is triggered

>baiting this hard

i just find kind funny how you choose to ignore an entire arc that's has been completely dedicated to explaining Holly's past and the cause of her traumatic issues, and how Aaron has repeatedly stated how she has never gotten over them.

Her attachment to Clive is very similar to her attachment to Wally, you seems to be very determined to ignore this fact.

Good thing we are getting answers soon.

>everyone that doesn't agreed with you is baiting

You are not actually baiting. What this is is just the repercussion of years of anti-social habits, culminating in your own madness. You are insane!

>and how Aaron has repeatedly stated how she has never gotten over them
And that doesn't means that are her actions are totally drive by that
>Her attachment to Clive is very similar to her attachment to Wally, you seems to be very determined to ignore this fact
Oh please, her attachment to Clive could have been by many things no just because she's projecting his baby
>Good thing we are getting answers soon
You said like those answers are gonna give you the reason, well i'm pretty sure that you will find a way to make it look like they do

>And that doesn't means that are her actions are totally drive by that

course not, Aaron has not stated outright that this is the case, but it is perfectly logical to assume it is, it's perfectly possible.

> her attachment to Clive could have been by many things no just because she's projecting his baby

Funny, i remember everyone defending holly from any criticism during her breakdown claiming this was the case... suddenly it's got nothing to do with it.

>You said like those answers are gonna give you the reason, well i'm pretty sure that you will find a way to make it look like they do

only time will tell.

>You are insane!

no more than holly

>it's perfectly possible
Just as perfectly possible that it doesn't
>Funny, i remember everyone defending holly from any criticism during her breakdown claiming this was the case... suddenly it's got nothing to do with it.
Way to put words in my mouth, next please try to argument things I said
>only time will tell
Pretty sure that you will still try to find a way to make you look right, just like me

There's no virus, DUUH

You guys are silly

Is that Mario bros. in the second panel?
>There's no virus
Is some Marx fuckery isn't?

And Aaron finally drops the bomb

>yes
>no

>the dittos mimicking wally
How cute.

>It's not a virus

Welp.

I suspected it being not a virus but something worse.

Of course it's not a virus. It's bacterial.

>it's marx

It was furfag magic all along!

Twist of the century, nobody would see it coming.

it's Amesworth radiation?

>they were fursuiters with amnesia all along
Topsiders did nothing wrong

THE GAME HAS CHANGED

>animals disappear
>animal mutants appear

do the math, user

>Some furfag wished on a monkey paw for the world to be full of furries.

IT'S LIKE POETRY.

>this is just the illusion of some furfag on drugs
IT GETS MORE AND MORE DEEP

>it's all a furry's fault

Fucking hell Aaron, it's only Monday and you're already dropping this big bomb on us?

>This might actually be true because of the existence of magic wells, psychotic eyeball gods, and Doctor Who wannabe's.

>animals disappear
When was this brought up?

Email

never noticed how there's literally no wild life?

References in a letter or Patreon Update, I can't remember which.

Did they ever talk about it in the comic though? Or is this more foreshadowing?

She wanted this to happen.

>it was Kirbee

>she got stoned and thought out loud "haha, it'd be pretty funny if everybody was an animal! Maybe then I could restart my life."

>only something heard her

No only that, in many moments you could notice the the fact that they were no animals even in this flashback you could see some reference to this

When did we start talking about Jessica? 2014? did... did we get it right? Is this all one person's fault?

dropped

It looks like something Seth Green would come with
>Hey dude, what if everyone becomes a furry? That would be funny dude...dude

...

k

But how do dinosaur mutants exist?

See you next thread

I just doubled my Patreon donation

The inate hawtness of dinosaur girls brought them to life.

...

>A dino girl will never smother you with her ass

...

...

NANI?!

So is this dinosaur girl in the comic or is it some kind of fursona thing you guys are doing

Aaron confirmed that there are dinosaur mutants. A few have begun to appear in the comic

Hi KC!

Bump

What?

Now that's a twist and a half.

We Mesozoic now.
youtu.be/fNeAINi9omo

>Turns out everyone just imagined they were animals the whole time.

This twist could either go in a good direction or a bad one

cute

>two endtown threads
Lets decide which should die

i want to kiss that long neck

Unf

>Lets decide which should die

this one is the closest one to bump limit, so... this one

Araki pls go

just because you made the other thread doesn't give you special privileges to keep it up

i didn't, i was the one who posted the update in this particular thread.

The one with the fewest posts is the one that should go. Stick to one thread at a time.

I see more people posting in the other thread tho, plus this one has already enough replies

>Lucranians are just humans
How the hell does one become a Lucranian then?
Do you just have to stumble into all this multiverse stuff and you're suddenly qualified?

The door has been opened.
We have gotten on the floor.

the same way somebody becomes a Slav: be born in Eastern Europe.

>The ditto mass in panel one mimicking Wally
So is the ship telling the truth or fucking with Wally for some more sweet sweet emotional energy?

>All these people acting surprised
I thought we'd been speculating that this was the case for ages now? The mass-shifting, the weird triggers, the fact that Aaron implied that the Topsiders had never isolated any virus... whatever's happening, it isn't an actual, physical virus, just a process with some aspects that mimic viral behaviour.
