Today's my birthday
Today's my birthday
...
You really couldn't ask for a better art team on this.
I do apologize for the absolutely trash digital conversion though.
I was just reading some Archie Goodwin Batman earlier and noticed Batman seemed to always both enter and exit buildings by leaping through windows.
To be fair I do the same thing when I play videogames. Particularly Resident Evil 4.
I hope you did something fun. Mine was a total bust this year, but the weekend after was pretty good.
This was a year before Jason and two before Nightwing.
Sorry to hear that, user. I tend to not really care about the actual birth day itself, it's just an excuse to get together with the pals.
For me, I just used it as a well-earned day off.
...
Happy Birthday, man. Good taste with classic Batman.
I like Joker best when he's being an "absolute madman".
>I told him to make a hot air balloon with his face on it and he actually did it!
I got the second and third volumes of the JSA omnibus!
My parents always know what's up.
How long has Joker known Catwoman's identity?
Oldest trick in the Joker book. Come on, Sidney.
Catwoman didn't really have a hidden identity, or at least, originally there was no Selina Kyle character, just Catwoman.
In the later Golden Age they came up with an "origin" for her where she got amnesia so didn't know who she was at all, and reformed and went by the name Selina Kyle. But later on it was retconned that she was just fucking with Batman.
Genevieve Valentine brought back the idea of "Selina Kyle" being an alias.
Stories like this make me think of how great an addition Harley Quinn originally was. It gives Joker someone who goes along with all his jokes, someone to riff off of. As it is every single other character is a straight man.

HAPPY
BIRTHDAY
TEXAS
user
I hope you shot enough rattlesnakes with your big guns or whatever it is you do down there for birthdays.
That'd be boring because that's what we do everyday.
Batman is not having this shit. But is he ever?
It was just a prank bro

Grats, B-Man.

A lot of comic guys seem to crossdress very convincingly
Dick, Tim, Bruce, and Joker have done it
Absolute madman.
Also the following arc starts to have Selina be fully reformed and in a relationship with Bruce, to the point of her knowing his identity and everything.
This didn't have as much to do with birthdays as I thought, but it's nice to have a good ol fashioned Joker story and relax.
I like this type of Joker, dangerous yet silly not omnicidal psyco terrorist that might be supernatural.
What do you shoot on birthdays?
We go looking for Lake Worth Monsters, gargantuan half-goat half-manfish beasts with Hulk-like strength. They threaten our crops, mutilate our cattle and ruin our summer lakeside cookouts, so Texan men are expected to hunt them once a year.
Turns out they probably don't exist, though, so we tend to just shoot at crows.
>couldn't you have used the door?
Man I don't know why but I found that really funny. See, crazy homicidal Joker is fine as long as he at least makes some jokes. That's why I don't get the love for Heath Ledger: not enough funny moments.
Happy birthday. Can we provide the catering?
>absolutely trash digital conversion though.
wut?
The coloring is bleeding all over the place. Look at the Joker's hair/hat line
>That's why I don't get the love for Heath Ledger: not enough funny moments.
I'm sick of people using this stupid argument.
For how much screen time Ledger's Joker got he had plenty of Joker humor.
sLAUGHTER on the semi-truck, the pencil trick, the suit joke (You oughta know, you bought it), dropping Rachel out the window when Batman tells him to drop her, the scar stories (they might not be funny but they are jokes), the fire truck, dressing as a nurse to get to Dent.
The reason it seems like he wasn't funny was because he's not.
A real life Joker would not be funny in reality.
Happy Birthday.
I always loved these panels.
