Austin Martinez
There's only 3 Marvel books in the top 30
I've never seen Marvel get their teeth kicked in this hard. I don't even think it was this bad when New 2 launched and we're 4 months into Rebirth
Ryder Barnes
It also goes to prove that the "Movies bring in new fans" is total horseshit.
Captain America is apparently the second most popular hero in the world now and he's losing out to a guy who gets shit on by everyone

And once again Logan outsold all the X-Books. Really Marvel, you are really idiots to kill off your 2nd more popular character, because you don't have the rights, and because of his "toxic masculinity" and then replacing him by his autistic "cute-retarded" female clone. Marvel bring back THE Wolverine please. On the other hand the X-Books continue to suck both in sales and quality. At least they deseved this.
Anthony Cook
No because they weren't still releasing big #1's and returnable comics
Ryder Johnson
>Returnable comics
Yeah sales are lowered by 20% to account for that though
Josiah Watson
Its 10% but yeah.
Cameron Powell
I just read the source it does not say that anywhere Also >This information may not be reproduced in any format without the express permission of Diamond Comic Distributors. Lol

Good to see Rebirth and DC sales continue to be strong for three months in a row. DC improved their quality and corrected mistakes that they did with the N52, and this earned them the praise from the fans and readers. Well done.
Hopefully Marvel will riase the bar in terms of quality in order to keep up.
Jaxson Peterson
I'm really surprised the SS one shot didn't make it into the top 100
Christopher Edwards

>Hopefully Marvel will riase the bar in terms of quality in order to keep up. Sad thing is they did raise the bar with vision and it still did not help.
Jordan Hill
Wait shit im retarded i was looking at the single issue source instead of the gn source.
Xavier Rogers
Yeah I just find it really odd. I can't honestly believe that it sold less than Scooby Apocalypse #4 considering the Rebirth hype, SS movie hype and Harley hype
Joseph Roberts
They're more likely to raise the average price to $4.99
Nicholas Bailey
Vision is not very popular unfortunately.
Marvel needs to stop sabotage their most popular franchise, apart from Spiderman. The X-Men need more attention and better books. And Wolverine needs to return NOW. Perlmutter's idiocy is starting to cost at Marvel.
James Barnes
Im pretty sure raising prices to compensate for sales lost due to high prices is games workshops thing.
Carson Bailey
I don't know if that's a good thing. One of the things that personally i really appreciated from DC, is that they try to keep the prices at $2.99. I hate highly overpriced (especially when most of times don't even remotely deserve that price) books.
Dylan Smith
Yeah, but it's not good in the long term. Fortunately they have a relaunch coming, so they can breath for a few months
Andrew Reed
>I don't know if that's a good thing.
It's not. I just don't put it past Marvel
Kayden Nguyen
Apart from the fact, that Scooby Apocalypse, Future Quest and especially Flintstones are really good books, and personally i believe that they deserve much better appreciation, in terms of sales, this is further element that shows that moviefags don't buy comics. So it's useless trying to build hype for the comic books based on them.
Ryder Russell
I knkw thats why i think surely with one company already doing it they would learn from games workshops mistakes. Then again games workshop refuses to learn from there own mistakes they just keep raising prices.
Jason Diaz
HOLY SHIT, inhumans are close to be on the top 100 anymore
Gavin Wood

Gabriel Turner
Why? No one can write him. No one has a clue on what to do with him.
Wolverine is supposed to be this legendary smart fighter/assasin and he constantly gets his ass kicked.

Jacob Watson
>Civil War II The Oath Delayed to December

It's so sad people probably jumped because of Kadabra when in fact that's the best part of the book.
Joseph Garcia
Green lanterns #6 had a printing error on the front cover so it was delayed a week.
It was worth the wait fantastic issue it was a good week all around after the previous while great disapointing in parts week.
Adrian Peterson
Oh the Deadpool one I can explain. They know that fans don't want to break up their collections so they throw these big books out of nowhere to milk their fans for all they're worth. It's actually fucking sickening
Owen Foster
Wait how could you not love kadabra. I had literaly never heard of him and i love kadabra
Adam Cooper
And yet every writer out there wants to write
And really this is not an excuse. Logan is the character with the most rich background out there. If you have good writers and talent, then you can have good stories. The problem is that current Marvel don't have either. Though Lemire's Logan book, even if his X-book sucks, it's fairly good, which proves that a good writer can do miracles with Wolverine.
Bentley Cruz
So it at least had more pages right?
Blake Ward
>Green lanterns #6 had a printing error on the front cover so it was delayed a week.
That honestly doesn't sound that bad since they got it out the following week
Ryder Hernandez
Yeah it did. It's a big 90pg one but it's still deplorable to have it in the main run. Most comic fans aren't obsessive dweebs who read solicitations or watch the sales
Jeremiah Peterson
I agree. I know him from Mark Waid's run and he's one of the best Flash big bads. I've seen many fans dropping the book because the villain is lame.
Dickfags already dropped it for not having enough wank.
Nolan Long
Both are oversized. Ms Marvel is 40 pages with ads (compared to 32 with ads as the norm), and Deadpool is 96 pages with ads. With Deadpool in particular, the solicitation says that it's 60 pages of actual content.
Isaiah Sanchez
Thats pretty bad yeah.
Colton Price
>Amazing Spiderman >$4.99
Fuck I didn't know it was that much. No wonder DC are selling better with their nee pricing scheme.
Jace Evans
Oh yeah, I'm actually pretty impressed on how well it did and how it manged to outsell some of DC biggest books.
If this book continues to do well, I can see DC doing a crossover between RHATO and Trinity.
>46. BATGIRL #2 [*] (DC) > 52. AQUAMAN #5 [*] (DC) I'm really surprised on how hard Batgirl fall and sad to see Aquaman be the worst selling rebirth because I like it a lot.
Adrian Cox
That seems good for a Blue Beetle launch though
Ethan Roberts
You shouldn't be surprised with Batgirl, that's a book that settles in the 20ks normally. Maybe with Rebirth hype it will be more of a 30k book, but we'll see. Should be about the same for Supergirl too but maybe TV show hype will help there (I suspect that will help trades more than floppies though).
Austin Miller
I think he is talking about the comic itself. They massivly mishandled the first issue as promising as it is its sales are gonna drop hard
Anthony Gonzalez
Its good to see red hood and the outlaws is not a cursed name. Then again a lot of things have happened with rebirth that should not have so maybe the title is cursed but rebirth is so good it powers through the curse.
Dylan Edwards
I don't like the behind the scenes stuff with the solicits switching up (suggesting something isn't right), but I feel like the first issue wasn't bad. The only thing that might not have been that clear was who everyone was (names did get given but it was very fast, not really done in an introductory way) but it showed the current status quo fine and gave you a glimpse of the Ted and Jaime dynamic.
Colton Lewis
Im still not sure which dialogue was jamie and which was the scarab. I think thats my biggest problem with the issue not knowing anything about the character im not sure if its a direct control deal or not that should have been made clearer. I do really want to know what happened with the solicits though yeah.
Carter Brooks
>>HJGLC outsold GLs HJGLC is a couple issue numbers lower but it outsold it in August too
GLs has been pushed harder than HJGLC but I thought it might settle lower since you'd think people would gravitate towards the established characters
Aaron Cox
Well something has to be worst selling rebirth title.
At least aquaman is in the top 50 still so im still happy
Lincoln Martinez
>Highest Marvel book is at #4, is Spider-Man and kicks off an event. >Second highest isn't until #20 and it's Star Wars. >Third highest is at #22. >Fourth highest isn't until #32. DE-FUCKING-STROYED. On the other hand although there both good books green lanterns is a little better.
Its really hard to guess at sales when so few of the books are bad.
Easton Brooks
>10 Marvel titles in the top 50 >39 DC titles in the top 50 brutal
Jaxon Evans
Waifufags have moved to Wasp, user. Marvel has to maintain a constant stream of new waifubait these days to maintain interest.
Levi Baker
>green lanterns is a little better. I don't agree, but you're right that not much of Rebirth is truly bad
I do think it's interesting that two very new characters are doing nearly as well as the book with the four existing GLs
Kayden Cook
>Scooby Doo Apocolypse in 100th place >Flintstones most likely below it
Josiah Walker
This month's results should be interesting because the returnability runs out on a lot of the Rebirth books last month.
Mason Lee
Rebirth is mirroring the ANAD Marvel launch. I wonder if DC will be able to keep it up.
Hunter Hernandez
What are you talking about? ANAD books each had one good month and then sales tanked to the same value they were pre-relaunch. How is Rebirth mirroring it at all when the lowest titles seem to still be 60k+ at this point several months in?
Caleb Sanchez
>black panther still in the top 30 >black panther still in the top 100
Angel Howard
Retailers will also have a better idea of what to order since they're several issues in now, I don't know if returnability ending will have that much impact
Alexander Reyes
In the second month of ANAD Marvel dominated the top 50 with a 17% market share lead over DC. Just because the drop off from issue to issue for DC is slower in its second month doesn't mean anything.
Many ANAD titles lost readers quickly and but then stabilized quickly also. We'll have to wait in see if these Rebirth titles aren't slowly bleeding readers well into their runs.
Ryan Miller
You can't look at the market shares as if that's important. The ANAD books literally only had good #1s while the following issues were back to the same pre-launch figures for pretty much everything that wasn't Deadpool or Iron Man. If Rebirth was following the same pattern you'd see it already. There's no "wait and see", it has already not happened.
Anthony Hall
>> 77. INVISIBLE REPUBLIC TP VOL 02 (MR) (IMA) Premature ending looms. Why do comic fans have such shit taste?
Samuel Jenkins
That SS Ostrander one-shot was a fifth-week release despite the Rebirth banner on the cover.

>You can't look at the market shares as if that's important.
Huh?
>The ANAD books literally only had good #1s while the following issues were back to the same pre-launch figures for pretty much everything that wasn't Deadpool or Iron Man.
This is simply not true. Titles like Daredevil and Punisher out-did their pre-ANAD numbers also. Nevermind that a huge part of ANAD was about introducing new titles that didn't even exist before ANAD like Black Panther and Moon Knight.
The only real and fair comparison is market share.
Nolan Young
>42. OMEGA MEN THE END IS HERE TP (DC) Rip
Brandon Williams
it's a New York Best Selling user, it's doing great. This only counts orders thru Diamond which would be limited to LCS', DC and other publishers often use a different distributor for trades.
Levi Wright
I don't know why you would ever look at market share if you want to analyze the health of titles.
I wouldn't count Punisher, Black Panther, Moonj Knight as ANAD since they only launched recently. I'm mostly talking about books that launched in the 4th quarter of 2015. If you're going to count late launches like Punisher they would be more comparable to the second wave of Rebirth books when they come than to use them as data along with the first books.
Ethan Morris
>Superman not in the top ten Boo! He's deserves it dammit!
Cooper Miller
Will Marvel get their shit together after this?
Jack Harris
No. Have you seen what's coming out during NOWer?

Nicholas Foster
>what happened Dc fixed there editorial.
Blake Powell
Marvel will stick to burying their heads in the dirt. They'll keep using the comics as clickbait/PR for movies than do anything worthwhile with the comics.
Aaron Anderson
Considering the competition those books being in the top 50 is still pretty damn good
Jaxson Young
Yeah, with the exception of a book where Spider-Man's married again, there's fuck all interest from anyone about it.
Gabriel Gonzalez
Fucking THIS Marvel could run their comics department to the ground and still turn a profit based solely on their MCU juggernaut.
Its frustrating to see that only comic readers are seeing that DC is actively trying to improve comics, while to the general public its nothing but DUDE DC SUXX LMAO
Asher Morgan
They fixed their editorial like 2-3 years ago, the Rebirth hype is because they put Johns in charge of direction since he basically built his career on melding historic stuff with modern continuity.
Benjamin Johnson
>95. MS MARVEL #10 (MAR) >95 Damn son what happened? Is it all the DC #1s? I thought she was popular.

Yes, Solo and Foolkiller with shot up to the top of the charts.
Evan Nguyen
Is anyone outside of Cred Forums excited about it because i don't see a lot of people talking about it?
Josiah Gray
>Is it all the DC #1s?
Likely yes. She is generally solidly in the high 20ks/low 30ks, so it just means DC's books have sold so much that the 30k range is now in the 90s when a few months ago it was 70-80s. We'll know for sure tomorrow though if it dropped more than that.
Nathaniel Collins
Well she did get outsold by uncanny Inhumans, falcap, and Gwenpool. Sounds like a drop.
Dylan Reyes
Whats Brevoort's thoughts on this?
Ryan Johnson
That happened last month too (no Uncanny Inhumans issue apparently though), seems like she's still grouped with the same Marvel books. It's likely just DC having more near the top pushing everything else down.
79 Captain America Sam Wilson 11 $3.99 Marvel 29,145

Joseph Diaz
people expected the book to deal with Dr. Manhattan, not regurgitate Wally's "destined" romance with Asian Lois/Vicky/Iris
Jayden Watson
There's always a drop off from #1 to #2
Logan Miller
Can someone explain why the Young Animal line is more expensive?
Matthew Ramirez
Sure, but there are a good number of series that have even more number that have higher sells, and Titans was supposedly one of the BIG Rebirth titles, the one most likely to have plot elements about the the whole "New52 is actually Post-CoIE", yet it sold less than Nightwing or HJatGLC
I suppose that goes to show the effect of the double monthly issues, with those books having much higher retention numbers than the monthly ones
Charles Martinez
you get what you pay for
Grayson Cox
More pages.
The solicitations list them as 40 pages compared to the usual 32 pages. In reality, all of the true DC Rebirth books are 20 pages of actual content. Doom Patrol was 24 pages of actual content, the Shade preview (6 pages), and the editorial page (3 pages).
The rest of the Young Animal books will probably follow this, too: 24 pages of content and then a backup of some kind. So, it'll be worth the extra dollar.
Lucas Edwards
Is that Ryan Gosling?
Jordan White
Why? Is he written badly or something?
Easton Phillips
Titans Rebirth had huge reorder numbers due retailers underordering
It also wasn't this bad when the New 52 launched. Marvel had 9 books in the top 30 back in September 2011
Daniel Rodriguez

Ian Stewart
>Harley is the most popular she's ever been >Palmiotti Harley will influence the character for decades to come
Elijah Davis
Funnily enough Palmiotti's Harley has no influence on the DCU at large. It has it's own spinoff books but if you see Harley in any other DC comic it's the Harley from Suicide Squad.
Adrian Rogers
>Harley Quinn had a movie. thats why shes #1.
A Harley Quinn title has been in the top 15 titles 22 times out of the the past 34 months. During that same period, she's only been out of the top 30 a total of 6 times.

It's all the new #1s they pushed the books in the 70-80 range into the 90s or out of the count. If it wasn't for Ult getting relaunched marvel now would only make it worse. I expect ms marvel, gwenpool, and those around them to get pushed out in october.

Only Wallyfags buy the book and they are fine with Linda in general.
I think making this book a monthly while making shit like Cyborg bimonthly was a huge mistake. It doesn't help that it gets released at the very end of the month so most people forget it even exists after a while.
