Seekers of weird was good.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was an okay story. One of the characters had the bitch meter high
I couldn't get into Haunted Mansion, I guess I'll wait for Guermo Del Toro version

The Figment books are GOAT.

Mansion was okay, but I preferred the SLG comic's anthology approach to the material. The way they used Hatbox Ghost was cool though.

Curious to see how TIki Room turns out next month.

Might as well storytime it

The Nightmare Nation is the most specific lift from the original ride. Based on the Literature/Tales of Terror section.

Th very beginning of HM was really good but turned to shit in like 5 pages
Thanks for the heads up can't wait for the tiki room

...

The actual plot is dull and by the numbers, but I like that it focuses more on how the house actually works rather then giving us another origin story. The way they use Hatbox Ghost is a pretty nice extrapolation from what vague tidbits about the movie we've gotten out of Del Toro.

Blocks from the ride!

Lightning flash and the Tales of Terror book. The Nightmares as this swirling cloudy mass of grasping beasts is from the ride too.

Bumping ya for story time

I've never read this and it's not that bad

...

It's actually the most successful of the books they've done so far. Like to the point where Bob was actually sitting up and taking notice that people actually give a shit about Figment and Dreamfinder and it's not just random cranks at shareholder meeting Q/A that want the Dreamfinder back.

If the thread's still here in the morning, I'll do the sequel.

Word is when Tiki Room finishes next year, Figment 3 is next.

There's actually some early art of Tiki Room up now. It's an anthology series along the lines of Fantasy Island where island tourists end up working through their issues on an enchanted isle of talking birds and tikis

Fantasy Island's even on the bird's break room TV.

Thx for the storytime

And now we'll just have to see what Figment 3 looks like next year and with eyes being turned towards Epcot with that crappy "Shoehorning Guardians of the Galaxy into Universe of Energy" plan, what happens to Imagination could apparently go either way. Either Dreamfinder's coming back or Inside Out is taking it over, but even the latter is entirely ambiguous at this point as by the time they get to doing something in Imagination, Inside Out might be irrelevant as a franchise and that's the primary mode of thinking of these executives.

Thx again for the story time senpai

Bumping with clean wallpaper-worthy art.
