We were talking three original CGs. Lapis is conventionally attractive but kind of bland to my mind, only Gem who has a design that actually does it for me is Rose Quartz and even then it's mostly attitude and good voice acting that makes her hot

Jasper and Rose Quartz both seemed to be very high up on the ladder, so they should be about the same in strength.

Jasper and Rose were exceptional Quartzes in different ways- it's implied that Rose, or at the very least her healing tears, was one of a kind. Coupled with her floating, dream powers, bubble (and not generic gem bubbles) and incredibly resilient and seemingly unbreakable shield, points to our Rose being much much stronger than other Rose Quartzes, assuming they were even made after ours.

Jasper on the other hand seems to have the same (almost no) powers that any other normal Quartz would have- she's just huge, durable, cleanly cut, etc- a prime specimen/alpha.

Amethyst is really the only gem that could be considered fat and/or ugly, and she's a runt anyways. Garnet is just based on an exaggerated curvy black woman, while the rest of the cast mostly adheres to normal standards of beauty.

Like, they're cute, and there are some I'd rather be in the presence of more than others, but the show goes out of its way to explain that their bodies are hard light projections and they're aliens from a planet whose sole form of reproduction doesn't resemble anything we'd consider sexual. Then what is the plot, because I sure in the fuck don't see a plot. All I got out of it is that they are aliens and they want to destroy the Earth's core. That is it.

I'm a fan of the show, yet I find a lot of the chatacters to be unattractive while on model. This more because of the artstlye then because of anything else, but honestly? There's more to a show than whether I can get off to characters, and this is coming from a massive waifufag. The story anf personality of the characters are just as important, so I can overlook character's being unattractive to me if I find the show to be enjoyable. Pearl is my favorite Crystal Gem both personality wise and in general, even though she's not my type appearance wise.

In case anyone's wondering, I am a major believer in the THICC meme, and I do like some fat girls too. So I find Garnet to be the most attractive on model Crystal Gem, and Amethyst to be the most attractive off model gem. Amethyst is my least favorite personality wise though.

the first arcs start with Peridot playing team-rocket villain while also hinting things about gems beyond earth. as the story progresses the history of earth and the gems is revealed and eventually the alien gems begin to come back and start fighting again.
last I remember the whole deal with the earth's core was that as part of the "Fuck This" of the end of the ancient war, the Diamonds did some crystal necromancy and fused a bunch of broken gems inside the core to eventually spawn into a galactic monstrosity and destroy earth anyways. haven't kept up with much beyond that but I know steven ended up making peace with the tortured souls and luring it back to sleep.

The art style is shit. The characters being off model is the worst thing to do while doing animations because people will notice a change of style and the change of style can turn the people off. If you change styles constantly, then people will be annoyed by this and move on. Pearl is too emotional unstable and pretty much a lesbian cuck. So now, if the story is shit, and the personality is shit, then all you have let is the art. And since the art on the show is shit, what do you have left?
