I remember watching it. He had this one monster pet for some reason even when there was none in the movies.

...

...

...

...

Brad Bird's Family Dog

...

...

Bonkers
Book of Virtues
The Lionhearts
Fievel's American Tails
Biker Mice from Mars
Wish Kid

oh fuck what is this?

i remember watching it but have no idea what it is

Had the CD-ROM for this shit back in the day

I didn't even know this had a show until years later
youtube.com/watch?v=SEEMkVuiTYs

...

eh? like from War & Peace?

Can we include comics?

>Tim muhfugging Bradstreet
www56.zippyshare.com/v/4TZeurge/file.html

>Biker Mice from Mars
That's one of the most well-known furry XTREME cartoons of the '90s

So I guess technically it's never mentioned in "shows nobody watched" threads

...

Good times watching Super RTL...

>tfw I only saw part 1
I think the girl in this was my first fictional crush.

That got a fucking cartoon?

...

The Dumb Bunnies.

didnt that mother fucker get a stone hand and rip open a blimp or something?

...

...

holy SHIT, I was sure it was just a dream!
I used to watch it tones of times and even then I knew the animation is terrible.

youtube.com/watch?v=m-4CIaf1FwY

...

So obcsure that it doesn't even have any wiki pages.

...

Hey, i think I might actually recognize this?

It actually was pretty good compared with everything else that came out around the time
>Dog gets dog cone
>Somehow it means free satellite
>Forces to sit on the roof looking up all night
>Asshole kid laughed at him
>Kid ends up with cone
>Kid has to stay all night in the roof

>Cro
>about a cromagnon named cro
>told in the point of view of Phil, a Mammoth who was defrosted in the 20th century
>most of the people in his stories have been dead for 20,000 years

i swear this is the only cartoon they show in austria

Little Dracula
the villain's name is Garlic Man, its so old I could only find a thumbnail.
It was on Fox Family during their 13 days of Halloween special.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Dracula

Is that supposed to be Chucky?

...

does anyone else remember French Canadian Hippies? It used to air here at 6 am on school days.

I swear if this aired when I was a kid I would've died trying to do the shit they showed in this

...

...

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>implying
what the fuck, people love cybersix

hnnngh

strange because i rarely see any posts about this show

I remember this, afterdark games was the best. Weird to make a cartoon based off a game based off of a bunch of screensavers though..

The memories are vague, but I know watched all of these at least once or twice.

...

>Nobody ever talks about Galaxy High

...

...

I've watched this show!
It's crap.
Matt Wilson is a washup, whose art hasn't improved much in all these years, and doesn't have enough output for a guy who's trying to live off of his own work.

Aww shieeet.

you are not wrong

...

I watched this show all the time, mainly because it was shown all the time on PBS.

I assumed no one mentioned it because it's well known.

Oh fuck I remember this.

was this an actual cartoon or just a web series

Oh fuck I forgot about this show.

So, popular cartoons? There's a lot of those out there.

Cro was the shit

No David the Gnome?

Fuck you it was good

...

I only know about this show for the comic PBX did some time ago.

Angelo Rules i liked that show.

I loved this show and it's theme song.

The Redwall Animated Series on PBS

fucking why did they stop showing it on Thanksgiving

...

I remember that.

I always wondered what the hell was Lola wearing

I mean seriously where are her pants?

Maybe not obscure enough.

I've never met another person who actually saw this show as a kid. I watched it pretty frequently when I was 3 or 4 in 1990.

saw this cartoon in germany once. dont know the englich name. i do know there is a lost episode.

That first episode has amazing animation.

I thought it was some kind of jacket and her skirt was underneath.

Yes I also saw it and spent ten years trying to remember it
I was extremely disappointed when I found out it was just a shitty environmental show like Capitan planet

REEEEEE

only once was it mentioned not by me

I can't remember what the show was called other than a mastodon living in present day New York and telling his new friend about his friends from the stone age, who are all dead.

I lost all porn of Pamela. Not that there was much of it anyway.

This is the Kratts brothers show, right? It was called "Wild Kratts".
They were hot

Took me 25 years to remember it. I remembered it was environmental in nature, and I have no idea if it was any good whatsoever... I remember liking it as a kid, but that means nothing since kids will like anything.

Rented it from the library as a young boy. Had no idea what I was getting in to. Now I have a transformation fetish.

They made a musical now, because it's 40 years after Life and Work of the Gnome

deadline.com/2015/05/spy-kids-david-the-gnome-reboot-weinstein-company-animated-tv-series-1201421512/

I remeber that episode where one of them goes on a killing spree based on his communist agenda

The actual brothers or the cartoon ones?

still can't believe it actually happened

>Bonkers

I still have the theme song in my head every other week or so. Horrible show.

They aired it constantly in my country and it was just so weird. Who asked for this?

Did I miss some memeful thread?

>tfw there is a live action sequel of this made in Italy with the main characters as teens in high school
>tfw the live action series used the Big Boo Carousel music from Mario 64 as background music

I'll admit I barely remember anything about it, but your post reminded me pic related existed.

Technically correct is the best kind of correct.

...

FIGHTING CRIME IN A FUTURE TIME

IT'S CRIME FIGHTING TIME

I had no idea they released that many episodes. I got a DVD with a few issues at an auto parts store about 10 years ago. Also picked up a DVD of Pro-Stars

So eighties

youtube.com/watch?v=dOV5WXISM24

I remember it being rather sad for the dog. Like, they loved it but didn't at the same time.

This is severely underrated and had much more potential in it which could've been exploited properly with a more favorable industry climate.

The era where Bo Jackson was in everything.
>Bo Knows

...

What is there to talk about beyond "it was cool, you should watch it"? It isn't going to be revived, there's no new content or merchandise, it's readily available in decent quality, and the characters and situations aren't complex enough to really have multiple interpretations. The only possible thing that could get a real spike of interest would be a release of the full theme song, and even that's not sustainable enough for a long-term discussion thread.

I used to rent a VHS of this series all the time as a kid, think it had the first 4 episodes or something. It's a fun show, a shame it only lasted 13 episodes.

I'd slam Amy like a screen door.

I can't believe they made a cartoon called Loli Vagina.

This show makes less sense every time I remember it.

youtu.be/hiSEZj4Dhy4

Holy shit user, I was just recently thibking about this fucking show but couldn't for the life of me figure out its name!

no way, i play de arcade machine, never knew it was a show

What a wonderful phrase

Oh yes, I remember all the absurd gross-out humor of this show resonating really well with me when I watched this as a kid.

Bunk and Dirt were awesome (and probably gay).

The only reason I watched it is because it was airing before Gumball reruns.

To put it lightly, it didn't captivate me.

love this show

Now that's something I didn't hear about before.

Problem Child, yeesh...theres a memory that didn't need dredging up... I do recall the show it aired with, though. Itsy Bitsy Spider. I wanna say I enjoyed it.

Then you remember the Action Extreme Team and you realize "Hey, USA Network, its okay. You don't have to make your own cartoons. Really. Its fine. We'll still like you."

Not that it isn't well-known, but I barely see anyone bring it up

EXO-Squad and Bots Master.

Am I the only one who remembers those shows?

How about VanPires?

I knew this episode.
The bricks who duplicate themselves to infinity and fucked up all laws of nature were very interesting

By the way does anybody remember Ovide?

youtube.com/watch?v=W8gKkiAry4U

Morville, I'm the only one that remembers this.

This gets brought up in practically every "shows nobody watched" thread

Itsy Bitsy Spider had it's moments. And Leslie was cute.

Lol Widget was a huge thing in Poland.

youtube.com/watch?v=6jCHlb7tKTM

i really wish theyd release this somewhere

Skysurfer Strike Force was pretty much your standard boys action cartoon meant to sell toys. It was fairly middle of the road. Not terrible, but not particularly great either. Here's the season 1 intro.
youtube.com/watch?v=87sG3bTn1H4

The toy line for this show failed pretty quickly, but not before it got a second season. For season two, they decided to give it a new intro. At this point they apparently went batshit insane and hired the Japanese, all female, death metal band Super Junky Monkey to record their new intro and outro. The results were magical.
youtube.com/watch?v=Y6sinqqmqjo

BAWKWEY!

This one is a gem. it still airs in Polish CN.

How about a show no one mentions because no one SHOULD?

Like Mega Babies.

Nope Bogleech recently mentioned that. I loved the final episode

youtube.com/watch?v=xAcYaU9qpLk

How about this?

I used to have this vhs tape of the Incredible Crash Test Dummies when I was a kid. I can barely even find information on it but I remember watching that shit constantly.

>I only have 11 polish episodes and never will find more

The good old times when men where men, women showed clevage and dinosaur didn´t have fucking feathers.

The stuff I am still looking for:
>Animated series about bear ,princess(or balerina), knight and indian toys going on diferent adventures
>Animated series about Dog mouse and kid as detective trio I remeber them riding the bike everywere
>Animated claymation short about earth with face being destroyed by humans (and I'm sure it dies at end)

>Animated claymation short about earth with face being destroyed by humans (and I'm sure it dies at end)

That part from the claymation Mark Twain movie?

Nope. It was a short.
I have no idea when i saw it but I'm sure the channel was named TV5 and it was french. And it had random shorts played hour before morning cartoons (like smurfs or Snorks).

Nobody appears to remember this show.

I digged this for its ridiculously well animated stock footage every time they transformed and the general almost-anime aesthetic. Then I found it was actually done by Ashi Productions. It was averageish but looked good.

Gotta love that season 2 opening for the whole 'our show is failing so let's confuse people even more' aspect.

SKYYYYYYYYSURFERS

The english dubbed X-DuckX. I can't find any sources of it existing but I definitely remember seeing it on Australian television when i was younger. No one I've known remembers it.

MORTIES LEAVE REEEEEEE

youtu.be/HEkltFoAYkc
Not this, is it? A friend of mine was looking for it for years and only found it again recently.

I remember liking the chic. Always had a thing for the Pat Beantar type

Hyperman had a TV show?

>a show about a normie
GEE, THEY DON'T MAKE THOSE, EVER.

TOM! TOM BOSLEY!

I dont know if it still is, but it was available on Kabillions on demand channel for Charter Cable at least last year.

I saw it.

SAHG - WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Sounds more like screamo than death metal
Props to them either way

Looks interesting. Sauce?

what the ish even were these things?
i never watched the show, but they looked like birds or something

My kid loves this shit. Fuck.

Best couch gag setup ever.
>run through cloud of weed smoke
>stuff happens

ive only seen some of G1 and all of this

Its the only animated show I have seen every episode of besides the Brak show and the 2003 Clone Wars

I thought this was the dopest shit EVER.

there´s also the original comic book series tho wich is waaay longer and more adult, but available and in readable quality, i just don´t remember if it was translated to english or spanish

this waas weird because the staff was a lot of japanese people and john k

The undead dude was pretty cool

Was about to post it, I'm surprised somebody else remembers this.

>This had a SNES game

Wow, they made cartoons based on Malibu Comics properties? Who'd a thunk it...

>This had a NES and SNES game

Like Braceface but without braces.

Cant remember ever seeing this on Cred Forums

...

The opening rocked my shit as a kid

youtube.com/watch?v=lNTIuYiezvc

youtube.com/watch?v=lnR94cKj7AU

I have no clue what this is but I remember one joke that started a whole running joke in my family of "Are we there yet?""That's my boy!"

yup
also, this thread game a lot of material to search on rule34
thanks

They really wanted a piece of the X-men pie

Not Malibu but even Gen 13 got a pilot

Wasn't MiB a malibu title?

I came upon this by chance. It makes me wonder what cartoons from countries that don't speak English are like.

...

so garbage

>Taz is fucking naked

Yeah, but not based on the comic

Can remember the mutliverse storyline well

I wonder what it was like.
I know that the German one was insane.

youtube.com/watch?v=uQyr7nDLS4M

Just watch up through the intro.

...

youtube.com/watch?v=R0XwKjBOQx0

Has this one been mentioned? I still think the song is pretty kick-ass.

youtube.com/watch?v=gy7fO2i9y94

This?

I swear to god it bugged me forever how the guy had a too short shirt

I don't believe you.

>>Animated claymation short about earth with face being destroyed by humans (and I'm sure it dies at end)
Sounds like it could be Handle with Care. Can't find a link but if it's the short you're thinking of, it's on the cover of this tape.

Last thread I knew we had of cyber six was when I made it after finding and buying the DVD

Widget was terrible user

Trips

I remember posting the opening on this a few years back and apparently everyone had forgotten about it

Because the designs are terrible

Ah yes a show I didn't expect to actually be decent

All i remember is slax having a surfer dude voice.

It had a burst of popularity on Cred Forums about six years back.

I shipped ice girl and lava boy.

I had two vhs tapes of this. Did you know Gene Deitch co-produced this series?

...

All I remember of that show is a scene where the robot breaks into a musical number about a display case
>It's shatterproof, and batter-proof, and all corrosive matter-proof

I remember seeing this years ago in Germany

youtube.com/watch?v=DnQy5UGd5iI

I'm surprised this wasn't made with the sole purpose of selling vhs/dvd releases to classrooms.

I remember this!
Loved it as a kid, but I remembered there was pretty much no animation/movement in the show.

It was too bad they stopped before making an adaptation to Mossflower.

>Because the designs are terrible
u wot?

geeeee

Just found the full run at DG for 7 bucks.

>The actual brothers or the cartoon ones?
Uh... um, the... cartoon ones. Yeah, the cartoon ones.

Just got this

Not a cartoon but still forgotten

youtube.com/watch?v=6pT3KzxbGuM

This and Cyberchase bring back so many feels

IF YOU GOTTA PROBLEM

Check if that's only season one or not. Roswell's 40 episodes.

...

...

I liked I guess it was because it reminded me of Vigilante 8

It was actually a sucessful cómic book that git adapted to a vydia and then a cartoon

I only remember they wanted to bone some blonde human girl... something something duck rape

i know it's you, james cameron.
we all know about cybersix, you're not kidding anyone with your "dark angel" OC series.

This is a very recent discovery I have never seen mentioned on here before.

This thing

Fantomcat. Same studio.

Megatron was the only good design

I think there's a reason no one talks about this one

Close but nope. It was full claymation. It even had animals and homes growing on it and it had no words in it

The third part of MainFrame/RainMaker's glory days trifecta. Shadow Raiders was the shit, and the way it ended always pissed me off.

I actually saw a rerun of this show, once.

YES! But i can't find anything about "waldo" because Where is wally...

This may be it :o

What the, this looks a lot like Babaloos

...

Been watching this since yesterday. Turned out a lot better than what I expected.

Still haven't found a single episode or even a small clip about this that wasn't in english. It's like the US deleted this show from the internet.

I need help: I remember a show where green aliens who had a bus shaped like a HUGE iron.
It was like magic shool bus but kid aliens would wear weird Human costumes to interact with our world. It was hilarious. The human costumes looked like LAzy town puppet humans.

90's Christian kid cartoons... I remember there was some other series I used to watch that was partially live action, but then the kids would turn into cartoon animals to learn some bullshit lesson.

Pretty sure it's started my descent into furry degeneracy...

...

I've been browsing this board since its inception, and this may be the first time I've seen someone mention the fucking Problem Child cartoon.

I just remembered that SECRET ADVENTURES was the name of the show! The animated segments weren't as bad I was expecting them to be.

youtube.com/watch?v=ibp9dUqZnuw

Also, if anyone wants a VHS of the show, Tower Records (lol) has one for $121.

NUMBER ONE SUPER GUY

I didn't know this was a thing

...

I shipped these two far before knowing what shipping even was.

...

Is this hentai?

I loved this.

This was made by the same guy who went on to create Cow and Chicken. Both shows' intro sequences even have the main characters doing the same dance.

The comic was never finished, it burns me so.

Hammer man
youtube.com/watch?v=Gcbbd42lHnE
It is literally QUALITY - THE CARTOON. No really compare the intro's mediocre animation to the actual show itself.
It's almost as bad as Clutch Cargo. It is also as if they used almost no between frames:
youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HWFyGj_PDX0#t=156

No really, try to see how long you can make it.

>It is also as if they used almost no between frames

youtube.com/watch?v=PJtaphugxnI

You can still get Rude Dog dog treats in the UK. My dad's terrier fucking loves them.

I have a lot

Hence the thread. As an old fart myself, every one of those "cartoons nobody remembers" threads rehashes the same old cartoons, so for once I made a thread for cartoons that Cred Forums doesn't talk about.

Honestly though, there's a reason people don't talk about these cartoons. There's nothing to say. Some of them have bad animation, some of them have great animation, but all of them have really shitty writing.

I remember that shit.

Mighty Max gets mentioned a lot, even gets its own threads.
I dig this style. More cartoons should cut corners like that. SUDDENLY HOT GIRLS IN WEIRD OUTFITS AND A GUY IN INFLATABLE PANTS. It's surreal.
Gets mentioned a ton.
Mentioned a lot too.
Oh shit I remember that!
Eh, it's got STEVEN SPIELBERG on its credits, it gets mentioned once in a while.
Pale redhead waifu gets around
Literally who?

God, I wish Matt stuck with the art style from the pilot. It accentuated the humor way more than the bland, simplistic style he went with.

His art has improved, I think. He's just choosing not to showcase that on Puzzle Hunters because it's faster this way.

>it's faster this way
No kidding, there's barely any animation in that show at all

Yet to find someone who remembers this.

How about this cartoon? It is so obscure that no one here even knows it exist.

This show was actually pretty well writen.

Still pissed i can't find the good intro anywhere

It was the only thing to watch at 7am weekends

...

>Animated has bad designs
Again, are we talking about the same show? Animated had some less impressive designs, yes, but for the most part they were fucking beautiful. Pic related for personal favorite besides Megs and Blitzwing.

Probably only Hans will remember, if anyone at all.

Legend of Calamity Jane.
>"Look, ma. Those men are made of chocolate."
It's a kids show. With guns, no lasers.

I wanna fuck Blackarachnia.

ohshit
this was educational wasnt it?

the villains on this show were pretty memorable
yet I cant remember any

Wtf is this

Honestly can't blame you.

This looks like a doofensmirtz ripoff

The book will always be more remembered

Now you made me remember this atrocity
youtube.com/watch?v=3yUMpy-EGuM

Can Decepticons get pregnant?

Holy shit, I thought I was the only person on Earth who remembered these! Add Veggie Tales and you have the trifecta of parents-can't-afford-cable-and-want-you-to-know-the-Bible shows.

Also contributing with pic related, Tillie a QT

Veggie Tales was hot shit in Catholic school.

Arachnia, probably. She is part organic after all.

I wasn't Catholic, but VT was the LEAST preachy show I was forced to watch, which is saying something. It was like a nice break from all the you're-a-sinner gloom 'n' doom fire and brimstone, to just kick back with a fun cartoony show for a bit.

Still blows my mind that Mike Smellson was the head writer of the show

Ah hah, I knew none of you remembered those shows.

everyone remembers EXOsquad

That's great news.

What about that bible show about the time travelling kids? I haven't seen it since I was like seven but I actually remember it not being retardedly preachy. Might just be kid goggles.

Oh, you're probably thinking of Superbook, starring Not-Ash, Not-Misty, and Not-Brockbot here. (Or the knockoff, The Flying House, but I think I only saw one episode of that ever) Going back and re-watching the time-travel cutscene is trippy as fuck, yet as a kid it didn't phase me at all. I'd link a video but I can never find the damn thing on Youtube anymore.

Pretty sure that even got a cinematic release, and I still know no more than four people that know about it.

It's like Dunkaroos had its own TV show.

I remember yellow dinosaur well due to him being the one I identified the most with for being a well intentioned screw-up, but not much else.

I could've bought 3 VHS tapes of this last week

This shit was the bomb.

Flava Flav!

Too bad the video where Flava introduces the cartoon got privated

Omg user what is this called
I only remember being able to watch it at my grandparents house

...

...

Sagwa, it was on PBS for the longest time.

I can't be the only one to remember this, right? Right?

Nope. I remember that, fuck that stupid russian rat thing.

That Mammoth was mad thirsty for pussy.

This was years before Phineas and Ferb. i say Doofensmirtz design is a rip off of geeker instead

The whole damn comic strip, really, not just the street frogs.

Man, this one doesn't get mentioned because it's still well known.

I never saw this as a kid, but I've seen the opening as an adult.

Everything else aside, the show had a really neat visual aesthetic. I liked the ridiculous proportions of the main character s, with their huge-ass chins.

Chooks.

Now, you may think I'm channeling pol here, but apparently that just means chickens.

Aw yes, somebody queue up the theme song.

Is this the show created by the Cow & Chicken guy? I remember they had some anime-like animals and more cute weird stuff.

I can't support game grumps anymore. Arin is too successful. He's a talented artist and animator, presumably happily married and having never gone through a breakup; He makes his money by playing video games and shooting the shit with friends. And if you introduced him as 'arin hanson, the famous rapper', you would not technically be wrong.

Never heard of, but that are quality intro's

Does anyone have a link??

only raptors and a few others had feathers, not every sigle one

I watched that.
I also still have books from I was little.

I miss Bucky O'Hare, Deadeye Duck was like a fucking four-armed, pirate Falco Lombardi.

youtube.com/watch?v=T9DWwbRT2yA
It's not from Japan, so it technically counts... I guess?

youtube.com/watch?v=mInv6t35GM4
Finally, here's something I remember seeing advertised all the damned time on my Scooby Doo video tapes as a kid but never saw: The Halloween Tree.

Sagwa and that bat were fucking awesome.

I'm fairly sure they were the guys from Zaboomafoo after they got too old for more of that lemur bullshit.

Aw yeah, creepy fucking puppets and pirate adventures

Reminds me of the LEAGUE OF SUPER EVIL

...

Wasn't this the mother of the boy with the big crazy magic white rabbit?

I remember it.

I loved the latino dub of this

Cindy and the magic riddle! U used to like it just as much as any other disney princess movie when i was small.

There was a cartoon of this?
I have the book and I've seen the live action movie
youtube.com/watch?v=iXp8D8azDUY

I've been trying to remember the name of this show for YEARS.

This thread reminded me of the cartoon they used to show all the time when I was a kid, "Super Book". It was obviously very Christian and probably Japanese-animated. However I looked it up now and apparently they made a horrendous 3d reboot. Holy shit, does it look ugly.

Only knew the comic

Google actually made a GoogleDoodle some months back

I used to be the only lid that liked this retarded show.
“Coo-Eeeelll!!!!!“

Did you remember them kids?

This show was good.Only a few episodes are on YouTube.

Is that Hermes Conrad as a kid?

I actually don't think it was either of these.
I remember them finding a portal or something during an archaeological dig and it being in the intro and they were animated in that generic american captain planet barbie doll style of the late 80's early 90's.

Does anyone remember mummy nanny or mona the vampire?

...

...

And you still haven't!

Please don't mention Mona

This looks so fucking bland

>wunschpunsch
holy shit I've been looking for that for years
Why not?

youtube.com/watch?v=A_0r4E3dN00

fun fact: the bad guy's pet is called Trump

m.youtube.com/watch?v=sUlWmEep3iI
This is the backstage.

oh man if only i was there. know if theres an archive link?

Holy fuck I spent actual years trying to remember this cartoon, to the point I was half-convinced I had made it up in my head.

>Please don't mention Mona
Mona.

H-how? Why? Did that show deserve a live-action? It wasn't even good.

I've never seen this show mentioned anywhere, but I remember liking it.

Couple weeks ago I wrote to the head writer and executive producer of Ned's Newt, Andrew Nicholls, about what it was like working on that show and he wrote me back (slightly abridged).

>Hi, user. Wow, we don't get much Ned's Newt mail. I saw a few weeks ago that it was running on Qubo.

>Ned's Newt was our first cartoon show -- 1997 to 2000. It was a lot of fun to write. They made 78 and I guess we wrote about half? (We were the show runners, so we re-wrote all of them.) I always wished that someone would put them all out on DVD. There were 3 VHS tapes with 4 episodes each, and that was it.

>I remember the Nana Mouskouri gag. It seemed that whatever we suggested, they drew, with few objections. It was broadcast in Germany at the same time, if you can believe that. I don't know how many of the references they understood over there.

>At some point they had a parade in Hamilton, Ontario, or maybe Toronto, with Ned and Newton characters in the parade. I have a news clipping about that somewhere.

(cont.)

(cont.)

>Nelvana was pretty cool about it all. We did get suggestions starting in Season 2 that we start re-using some of the characters we'd already created, because they'd made so many. They sent us a thick binder full of all the characters that Newton had morphed into by that point. We tried to comply.

>Darrell [Vickers] might remember separately if there was any censorship. I remember we had to take out General Patton because the Germans claimed they'd never heard of him. Darrell said, "You should remember him, he marched through half your country."

>Compared to every other cartoon show we've worked on there was very little cut from the scripts. I don't know why. We just flew under the radar. It also helped that Fox Kids, which ran the first 2 seasons, had declined to pick up the series from the beginning. If they had been involved from the start, they would have been able to give notes. But it was just an acquisition for them, so all we got from them were Standards and Practices notes... though they did try to sneak a few "creative" notes in there under this heading.

Interesting stuff.

...

>it's a Dana Snyder voices 90% of the characters episode

Does Spiral Zone get mentioned much? I have vague memories of watching it back around 1987-1988.

Fivel's American Tails. Tales with a tails, again. The animation had taken a big step downwards, but it was still OK for TV in the 90s.

>matt wilson going full tumblr
Kill me.

Here's a good one. How many people have ever seen The Adventures of T-Rex?

youtube.com/watch?v=lA4o6WhJO-A

My local station aired it at like 7am on Saturdays.

When I was a kid I always turned the TV on just in time to just see the closing credits.

I like how they basically have homestuck character designs (even see the breath symbol in blue kid's hair)

>same dog

Not often. Usually people mention it because it was one of the shows J. Michael Straczynski worked on.

what was the name of the cartoon that came on on saturday mornings in late 90s that for the intro song it had a song by The Doors. Jim Morrison singing "people are strange"... can anyone help me remember? it was about aliens trying to live normal lives on earth

also fluppy dogs, enchanted elm forest, that one rupert the bear episode with the psychedelic frog song, the felix the cat movie, and the late 70s strawberry shortcake show with the peculiar purple pie man from porcupine peak. my sisters and i watched those too.

...

>All these Europeans
GET OF MY BOARD

Orson and Olivia?

Why did this get canceled?

I wish more toku had come over in the 90s.

i feel the same about the style from the pilot.

Good Ol Superbook and Flying House; two anime commissioned from Tatsunoko by the Lutheran Church.

To this day, I can't remember if the kids saw Jesus die on the cross or not.

>OF
Glad too see them colonials still know their place.

Oh fuck I sang that exact same line before seeing your comment

That's because it was put in Cartoons Network's death slot at the time and was at the tailend of the whole "highschool cartoon except that the students are ACTUALLY ______" trend.

OH MY GOD

Like I keep having bague recollections about the episode where they speculate about the earth being on the back of a turtle, thank you so much

Truuu but best girl is the bitchy sister in flannel

I remember Mummy Nanny pretty well.

Recognizing a lot of these obscure cartoons I forgot about is weirding me out for some reason.

Also pic related, this fucking show.

>Toad Patrol

I remember loving this show.

I had all of these on Video Tape. I used to think it was the shit, but in retrospect it wasn't that great. Any other britfags love this show?

youtube.com/watch?v=q0smlX2l9Fk

I remember my mum got all of these on video because she wanted to watch them. I never hear anybody talking about this show, but I loved it as a kid and I still love it now.

I vaguely remember that show being on one of those early saturday morning blocks (Either SMTV LIVE or Dick & Dom In 'Da Bungalow)

Can't remember for the life of me what it was called, but I remember it being watchable.

Puppets are Cred Forums

It was basically a giant imitation of Harry Potter

dvdrips when

Ah, now I know the name of that guy who's book I read about his time writing scripts for Hollywood, because that is basically just what he wrote in there about Ned's Newt too.

Regarding General Patton, he seems to be unaware that in Germany the people who carried out civil resistance are more celebrated than military heroes.

Havent seen this in years but I liked it and the show by the same guys where they are space people

Fucking loved that show as a kid, dont remember much now.

I remember hating that show, I was probably 3-5 at the time however.

The Elm Chanted Forest.

People post this all the time because they want to fuck the Vampire girls in it.

?

The one that always got me was the kids trying to stop Abraham from killing Isaac. Just try explaining that one to kids.

Movies count, right?

I have the English dub of this on DVD.

Dr Snuggles was awesome. What cartoon makers think "Let's cut a hole out of the ocean." anymore?

Fucking No one ever talks about it, and it is a legitimate great show!

This show was great

I was made by Tatsunoko (The guys that made G force) something good about japanese cristian cartoons is that they don´t try to be preachy, they just tell the bible story a let you decide if you like it or not.

Thanks for the link, user.
Yeppers, there was. You should be able to find a few things of it by searching for "momo kika". I think it's still airing on KiKa even today, but I'm too lazy to do some proper research right now.
youtube.com/watch?v=T6-OWjmP79g

I remeber the MC, but no details.

That's a lot of animation for something that boring

It watched it on CN in Poland in the middle of the 1990s.

You mean your not happy with the other American threads?

In my memory Dr Snuggles was a long running show, but I last read on Wikipedia it was only one season of around 12 episodes.
It was enjoyable weird.

the human mind is a remarkeble thing.

As you like it.
I think I like the book better, but I find it nice it's still relevant to people that they make a cartoon of it.

Saw it in Poland circa 1995.
It's trash.
I remeber this. I wish i could find episodes online.
Awesome , but bit creepy.
This is bait.
Yeah, trash.
This was on CN.
I remember this.
This trash...
I need to watch this. saw it on TV once. An ep with Robin Hood.
This trash...

youtube.com/watch?v=S8S4UkJCMdY

This series was too good for this world.

I remember loving starla, even made gems and I had dream where I became Jewel warrior.
The series is sadly horrible and I couldn't watch more than 2 episodes.

youtube.com/watch?v=lFqRTo5yJBk

Literally every show save 2 here is too obscure for me.

Hopefully my pick isnt too mainstream for your guys thread

Flint the Time Detective?

The Hammer is his father or something like that.
I don't think that's the show user means.

DON'T FORGET YOUR UMBRELLA

they actually air angelo rules in my country too.

please make i hate butt ugly martian bars!.

I never saw this cartoon, I googled it and I found nothing.

I'm sure this isn't too mainstream

the dub of this was fairly popular in latino america, good old Fox Kids, i miss that channel.

Does anybody remembers this?

youtube.com/watch?v=Nmnkg69pOR4

yes but not as a cartoon. i remembers those characters from a obscure magazine or something.

watched most of it a year ago again. Man they got blood, real weapons death and terrorism past the censors. Oh wait, european cartoon, still impressive.

surprised this wasn't mention yet
I used to love this show, and thankfully is relatively easy to found though just like Mighty Max all that is left of it are vhs recording of the episodes. Who knows who even own the series anymore.

I loved comics and I learned about the anime like 2 years ago. My mind was blown.

This.

This fucking cartoon.

I haven't been able to remember the name of it for YEARS.

I saw it when I was a really little kid during the early 90's, whenever I was at my grandmother's house after preschool/playgroup.

I thought it was Professor Snuggles for the longest time -- I remembered a bald inventor, a hot air balloon and a white creature.

Fucking hell, thank you user -- You've just sent me down memory lane and then some...

Holy shit, Linda is fuckable, typical cute Japanese design...

Bruce Forsythe's best work.

It was first published in the Tintin magazine, but I think you''re not meaning that

You're welcome user.
Yes, The Dog, Cat and Inventor were straight from the comic, the others are probably invented by the cartoon studios, although the boy looked like the little cousin from the Inventor who was the original owner of the Dog.

Only know this for searching random cartoons On Demand with friends.

A Danish animated movie from 1990.

>JP fanboy is also sex-starved teenager
>sex-starved teenager is also delusional to the point of ignoring reality and actual good aesthetics

How sad.

I remember some episodes

>Ming created clones from the blond guy (forgot his name but he was pretty cool)
>They were supposed to represent a side of his personality
>One of them literally propose blond guy to cruise on together

that looks charming af and well made
i think im gonna try to watch it

The fuck?

Seriously.

Nice character design

Does anyone remember a cartoon/film where all the characters were animals and the main cat character's aunt hated them and something in the sewers turned them into cheese (I think they were called "mouldies"? I seem to recall it being a bit like Oliver...

Even kid me was pissed off about how much of a Harry Potter ripoff it was.

Oh fucking god, the only time I remember watching this shit show was when I had a fever.
The intro is as long as I remember it.

Fucking yes, I have some video tapes of this.

Oh God, that.

this character is actually pretty damn popular in the netherlands

>I remember we had to take out General Patton because the Germans claimed they'd never heard of him. Darrell said, "You should remember him, he marched through half your country."
Savage as f.
I like this guy.

reading that magazine is like one of the most vaguest childhood memories i have.
i think i need to hunt for that series just like another one of my vauge childhood memory: captain biceps.

fucking benjamin the elephant

Anyone remember Spider Riders.

It was on KidsWB in the US.

Spider Riders was good but most people remember the theme song because it was Drake rapping.

I dont know if the book was anything like that fucking head trip i didnt read it but i remember that tv movie.

What was that one cartoon where there were football players and in the middle of a game the apocalypse happened and they turned into monsters and then effectively played bloodbowl against other monster teams?
I think the MC was a skeleton

I remember this playing a lot when I was sick from school.

I still have their song and dance during the credits stuck in my head.

I remember this show. It was cute.

C-O-M-I-C S-T-R-I-P, come on take a trip with the comic strip!

lets see, there was street frogs, tiger sharks, karate kat, am I missing one?

There was also a live-action TV show based on Night Man.

Weren't they called Dumb Bunnies or something? I watched them on the Spanish channel when there wasn't anything good on.

This right here. It was part of the MLP franchise. All I remember was the bad guys were weird looking as fuck.

youtube.com/watch?v=HX7B3lFgKW0

I used to have a couple episodes of this on VHS years ago. It was actually good.

>that theme song by Aaron Carter

I kid you not, they still have a radio show of this that plays in my area everyday at around 5.

It's pretty comfy

>that first episode

Tezuka's production company did a pretty great bible adaptation series

I was a big fan of the books back in the day. Loved checking them out of my school's library.

For the longest time, I had no idea that they even made a cartoon based off the books. It looked like shit though, which kinda upset me.

Pochini was so fucking random but at least fun

...

Actually i did was awesome and all time favorite

What do you mean not based on the comic? Just because Jay was white?

Never seen anyone talking about it.
Looking back, the charactes' forheads were fucking huge.

I watched this on Sci-Fi channel I think back in the early 90's when I was way little.

I watched this, forgot about it for years, saw it posted here a few years ago, then forgot it all over again. Thanks for reminding me.

I have the full season download on an external hard drive. Not bad show.

I love that soundtrack
youtube.com/watch?v=26yLwrPhOEs

They need to do something with this character, she's too good to waste.

I've watched the pilot like 5 times in its entirety. I used to stream random shit for my friends including cartoons and when I found this on Cred Forums a couple years ago I streamed it and my friends wouldn't shut the fuck up about it for a year.

This one? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saban's_Adventures_of_Oliver_Twist

Also turns out the one I was thinking of was David Copperfield (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Copperfield_(1993_film)).

I want Adrian to give me detention

Dude nigger, had this introduced to me recently and it's the fuckin jam

ATMOSPHERIC INTEGRITY SHIELD ONLINE

Oh god why do I remember this??

I still have my fluppy dogs VHS...

I remember loving this show briefly when I was 5

I've seen this. Still enjoy it.

Me too!

Ooohhhh my goooddddd this is still one of my all-time favorites! I passed my glow worm on to my son T-T

I still have a tape with copies of this show somewhere

I know two that nobody except my brother and I remember, but neither of us can recall the names or many details, and trying to figure it out bugs the everliving shit out of me.

One was a movie about a white bear from space, I think he crash landed on earth and some kid was trying to help him get home? I also think I remember something about a train in part of the movie. I had a teddy bear of him once when I was little, dunno whatever happened to it. I think the bear had blue clothes with a silver star on the chest but I could be mistaken.

The other was a show about animals in a forest, there was a pink mouse who loved to sing that I had the biggest crush on, who had a crush on a blue squirrel that was the main char, there was big brown bear who sang a song about eating honey from his "licky ticky spoon" and at one point in an episode got ran over by a self expanding road of magic yellow bricks. The blue squirrel also had some dumb conversation about paint colors with the villain. I think they were discussing wether something was "a blue-ish gray?" "No it's a grayish-blue". There were other animals too, a skunk I think, and a bird, the bear was the only natural color.

And no pics bc not on pc but Wuzzles and Popples are two others most people don't seem to remember. Monchichi and the Paw Paws are two more. And fucking Dinosaucers! Dinosaucers was amazing, still one of my favorites.

Thomas Romain then made Oban Star Racers only to leave for Japan to work on Space Dandy and the Symphogear series among others.

Once this show got darker it became one of my faves.

French pervs.
youtube.com/watch?v=wqATkCXxIXI
I remeber that.

Show was a twist on the story of an average, unlucky teenager whose life changes when one day an accident grants him a superpowers. The twist is that Norman sits in his room through the accident and as the result his entire family (father, mother, toddler sister, dog, grandfather) gets superpowers, except for him. So he has to deal with his everyday life as usual while at the same time his family does all the exciting shit by battling all kinds of evil and being a beloved superheroes.

I feel like this show was accidentally erased from existence when insert fictional time travel plot here.
