Never, and I'll tell you why.
Who?

when they remember her

>tfw a oldfag and grew up reading gen 13

I miss them a bit, but I don't think DC remembers they exist. I'd buy new gen 13 shit though cause Roxy was muh waifiu before waifu's became a thing.

>I miss them a bit, but I don't think DC remembers they exist

they were in new 52 for a second.

Halo first

They messed them up. They conquered and divided them.

Only A listers get rebirths.

>Maybe gen 13 will finally be good

Fuckin kids

I jacked it to this in 5th grade so much

Not our fault your favorite comic book from the 90s couldn't make it to the 21st century.

I've been wondering when more of the Wildstorm concepts in general would make it into the DCU. I mean, the "Voodoo" and "Grifter" books were pretty rank, "Stormwatch" had some potential, but it seems the only concepts that have lasted have been Midnighter and Apollo, and that's at least partially because they're parodies-played-straight (despite also being gay, ironically enough) of Batman and Superman. I mean, Void was a living dimensional aperture, you'd think there would be a place for her in the Orrery of Worlds at least.

A Gen-13 book COULD work in the DCU, like a "Runaways" thing where the kids are escapees from the government/some black-ops thing like I/O in the old Image comic, maybe SHADE or the DEO...make them the new version of the DEO orphans from "Titans" or Secret from "Young Justice" maybe? Basically play up the "teens with powers on the run" that was the premise in the original Gen-13 miniseries before they became Choi and Campbell's "throw it at the wall" book, where the DC heroes are as much the antagonists as they are possible allies.

Steve Orlando said there will be some Wildstorm announcements at NYCC. We'll probably see some ongoings or minis in the phase 2 of Rebirth.

Does DC even have a muscle woman anymore?
I don't think even Barda is that big these days. Just a tall woman

I wonder if we'll see like a full line.

Despite how completely and serially mismanaged Wildstorm in DC has been since minute one, I still like the fact that they integrated the universes.

>I wonder if we'll see like a full line.
It would be cool but they'd need to seriously push the hell out of it to make it work and get a meme writer like Gerard Way to helm it.

Outside of Midnighter or Apollo, Wildstorm like G13 is basically stuff that most of DC doesn't want to deal with.

Larger pushes of WS material is usually signs Harras and Lee are exercising their questionable influence over DC. Especially if writing credit is by tired Marvel hacks from the 90s or Lobdell.

What creative team would you want to see? I'd want a reunion of Adam Warren and Ed Benes but I don't know if Warren would want to come back.

>tired Marvel hacks from the 90s or Lobdell.
>or Lobdell.

Casey and Rocafort on WildCATs
Booth writing and drawing Backlash
Justin Jordan and Tradd Moore on Stormwatch

...

There's supposed to be some Wildstorm news at NYCC in two weeks.

That's some mighty shit taste you got there, pal.

I don't know what Empowerd makes him but I imagine he'd jump at some big two paychecks.

Hot opinion, got a reason?

The pic's amazing. Except for her fingers :(

...

...

...

Supergirl is pretty much the perfect character to team up with them. Supergirl & Gen13 would be a fun ongoing.

...

...

...

...

Each arc could have a different heroine as a guest star for fanservice fun

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

That's all well and good but what's the comic actually about?

nah, he pretty much nailed it.

I was never much into Gen 13. The name sounds so distastefully 90s. If they were to get the Doom Patrol treatment, maybe they could get a more modern name as well.

Grunge probably won't make the cut.

guess OP gave DC a pretty good reason to not reboot, kek

Superpowered teens on the run from the government with the help of a guy that looks kinda like Wolverine.

Ok but what's the plot?

So X-men?

kind of yeah,
but with government conspiricies and everybody is fuckin

...

>everybody is fuckin
So like Claremont's X-men.

now your getting it

But who is everybody and who are they fucking?

...

>I imagine he'd jump at some big two paychecks

He just did a Deadpool backup story. But yes, I'm sure he'd make time for it so long as he didn't have to draw.

...

man Adam Warren actually seems like he got worse

Wow this coloring completely ruins his art.

>Offical gen 13 best girl rankings
Freefall > Rainmaker > Bliss > sublime > fairchild > Freestyle > Copycat

>Makes a Gen13 ranking
>includes DV8
>doesn't include Janelle or Gwen

Really?

Janelle>Bliss

>reading Claremont's gen 13
How about no thanks.

>reading gen 13 past the 90s
But why?

>no thighbrows

trash

Stormwatch and the Authority were interesting concepts for its time.

Although WHAT IF SUPER HEROES POLICED THE WORLD is a bit of a dead horse nowadays...

It's not so much a dead horse as so much as the status quo, stormwatch and the authority are nothing special in a world with the Justice league.

Jim Lee's art is what got me to stop buying X-men every month. I am 100$ serious. I couldn't stand it anymore.

I thought this comic was supposed to be about them running from the government?

...

The first volume deals with that which the movie was based on

So they just dropped the whole thing?

90s LOL

...

It gets better once Adam starts writing

...

No, they're currently in hiding.

...

It feel like I'm missing a lot of information, like there should be an editor's note telling me to check out last issue.

...

...

...

How long is that?

...

That doesn't mean they can't have a really nice place to hide in. Duh.

...

But not really cause they're out in public using their powers in colorful costumes.

>That arm
Holy shit is she okay?

I think around issue 40

A private beachhouse isn't exactly public, user.

Not sure if post it Every time there a gen13 thread someone storytime this crossover

...

...

...

>its takes 40 issue to get good
Damn son

...

Is not bad fap material we also get archie And wolverine crossovers

...

Fair enough but how did we get to the nice private beach house? Cause I remember the mini and it just ended it on them on run.

Lynch has been in the spy business a long time. In his youth he may have been on the run in foreign countries, living on the edge and getting in wacky adventures. But now he's older and wiser. He knows you might as well just live in a plush environment and STILL get in wacky adventures.

It's what makes him best mentor, really.

U wot m8?

...

...

why does this feel like its from a 90s image book

...

>its takes 40 issue to get good

Hellblazer wasn't very good until Ennis started at issue 41. Not counting the one issue written by Neil Gaiman that made me realize how mediocre Delano was.

...

...

Wildstorm was a image imprint

Comic should've shown that.

Runaways before Runaways was Runaways, with government conspiracy fun.

That's just being mean.

Where?

Comics are weird.

Sure why not again

That's J. Scott Campbell's art, not Jim Lee.

No. He just hates drawing. And for some reason agreed to draw his Deadpool story. Which he immediately regretted.

Also, the coloring is by 'fan favorite' Ryan Kinnaird. Whom you would know from "X-Men: Phoenix Legacy of Fire." Which is heralded as one of the worst modern comics to have been written, and drawn, and colored, and edited, and etc.

Fuck,
I do.

Those Fucking Feet

>I was never much into Gen 13. The name sounds so distastefully 90s.

That is the pettiest complaint I have ever read on Cred Forums, and there's some petty fucking complaints in here.

>What creative team would you want to see?

Only person who ever made Gen 13 good was Adam Warren so if he can work, there's no need to even look at anyone else.

Your dubs betray my birth date. Kat best Gen13er.

Never, because the higher ups at DC are starting to see what a colossal fuck up Jim Lee really is and aren't letting him employ his friends or revive his shitty Image garbage any more.

I keep seeing Power Girl & She-Hulk threads when the obvious pairing should be Fairchild and She-Hulk. More similar powersets, builds, costumes, and coloration.

Peeg just isn't that muscular, its all kryptonian heritage. She is generally shown as being a bit more muscular than the normal female hero supermodel design but only marginally so, she ain't ripped like FC and Shulkie.

Incredible.

Thos

Agreed with this.

>published in 1999 to pander to gen xers
>the oldest gen xers would have been about 35
>now comics are trying to pander to millennials
>the oldest millennials are about 34

How craycray, also amusing that to pander to gen xers everything became edgy and to pander to millennials everything became the 1990s for-kids style of diversity. Did the 1970s have edgy cartoons that shaped gen xers into lovers of edge or something?

>Did the 1970s have edgy cartoons that shaped gen xers into lovers of edge or something?

They had Vietnam.
