Milo Murphy's Law's first episode is already available for free in iTunes and Amazon, it seems.

I can't check it out since I'm outside the US, but maybe YOU can. Hope it's good.

Even if it is or it isn't you have to wait for atleast 5 episodes to see if they keep the flow

Oh shit it's true
I have the ability to rip & remove DRM from iTunes files but it'd take me several hours to upload
If no one else has the knowledge/motivation to do it I can but odds are someone on Kametsu will have it up pretty soon

BUMP DAMMIT
Haven't watched it yet but I'm about to

I'd rather watch it on YouTube.

Alright I'll watch it and report back.

Uploading 1080p version to MEGA. Should be up soon. Includes optional subtitles

I've only seen the first short so far but I'm already sick of it. Maybe they'll grow on me but the characters feel too soft. Phineas and Ferb worked because the protags were really nice while Candace was such a bitchy spaz. Here it feels like even the douche character is really friendly, and not in a Buford way.

Thoughts:
-Premise is kind of weak, just getting into and out of situations is not very interesting.
-The situations themselves are also very pedestrian sitcom/children's cartoon fodder. Endlessly lampshading them does not make them more interesting.
-Speaking of lampshading, having the cast constantly point out how Milo works got old fast.
-Milo's okay, but Weird Al does not sound like a kid.
-The black kid is really fucking annoying., constantly crying and whining and pointing out how awful the situation is is not funny.
-Bedroom eyes is the only likable character because she's kind of cool and plays of Milo's bad luck.
-The anal probe joke was the only funny joke.
-I see the exact same force that made Candace always fail is whatever keeps Milo alive.
-I miss Doofenshmirtz. There isn't a character as good as Doof.
-Was this a Steven Universe joke?

Overall I'd say it's meh. I'll watch it a couple of times to see if it gets better but it did not make a good first impression.

I doubt it, Rose Quartz is an actual mineral in Earth.

It looks like the rose quartz guy is super new age considering he's a vegan into astrology. Apparently rose quartz is a big part of that.

Except for the alien bit and underground Doofenschmitz, seems fine enough so far. I expected Melissa to be a pain in the ass, but I'm glad i was wrong. Like PaF, it will probably become quite repetitive after a while

Thanks man.

My expectations aren't too high for this one, I doubt they can surpass or even match P&Fs quality.

...

idem.

I hate everybody's voice. That's my impression at 2:35 mark.

Paused at just the right time. Found the first 'Derp' of a new series. Feels good.

the rest of the kids could have walked to school and gotten there before the bus did.

I dislike how they ditched the shape based designs from Phineas and Ferb in favor of more human realistic anatomy. It's awkward.

Everyone beside main cast were realistic shaped on P&F.

you're doing god's work, man. Thanks for uploading this.

Also nice trips.

Thanks, I hope it's good,

I meant besides head shapes and whatnot. Simple stuff like that goes a long way.

This just looks like Vanessa's friends group without the charm: the animated series

The first episode is average, reminiscent of Phineas and Ferb without the ingenuity. Voices are flat, which is the norm for premiers, but I'm not sold on Weird Al as Milo. The humor is too dry for younger kids, while the premise is unlikely to win over older viewers weaned on more drama-infused cartoons. The visuals are polished but dull.

It's not the mold-breaker that PnF or Gravity Falls were. From the first episode, PnF felt like something different. Milo does not. In its current form, I don't see this getting more than 2 seasons. Disney should have gone for the Fireside Girls spin off.

i had a dog named Bo D.O.G. when i was a kid. he was a good dog

>it's a "i see your [] and raise you a []" line

those are cute when interacting on the internet. not so much funny or endearing in cartoons.

that's gonna be melissas shtick. learn to love it....that and her magic skirt.

i love this angle for breasts

Just another reason to watch this show

The way that map is colored irks me.

>protruding nipple
I like you

The new ice age is upon us.

I was hoping that they'd try to do something other than bland, Family Guy-esque poses this time. They didn't. Why?

Because pretty much every show on TV is animated that way, bar the cancelled Wander Over Yonder and I guess SU's action/music scenes and Clarence (which has fantastic direction/poses/storyboarding and occasional impressive fluidity in spite of the rigid geometric designs and budget limitations)
I can't remember the last time I saw fluid, expressive, genuinely cartoony animation on TV (except for Wander Over Yonder and the rotoscoped-looking OTGW highwayman thing)

Well, that was OK. I guess.

Someone needs to edit that booty to be more prominent

...

Aside from some of the motion blur the animation is really good.

I want to TOUCH that BUTT.

90s was definitely the peak of television animation quality, and was not coincidentally also probably the time at which it was most profitable to produce it
That being said, I'd generally still rank today's (traditional, non-tweened) stuff over any other decade in terms of visuals, certainly much better than 50s-80s limited Filmation-type junk. It's more homogeneous but better looking than what was coming out in the 00s. Clarence and SU are both still drawn with pencil and then scanned in and cleaned up, believe it or not.

Looks like Candace has some competition

I kept waiting for a musical number. What's the point of Phineas and Ferb's song-writing team collaborating with Weird Al if there's no musical number?

So. Porn when?

Redhead porn for redhead porn god.

Would you start a society with Melissa?

Yes, but we'll need a leader.

Who wouldn't? That chick is smokin'. Also, I love her expression at that moment too bad it was most likely directed at her next line rather than as the reaction to joke

How old are they supposed to be anyway? They all look like young adults, and Melissa is very well endowed and has adult-ish proportions in general

Yes

I'll go with 16. It seems the age at which Dan&Swampy verse gives girls boobs.

High school probably. I willing to bet that they are sophomores or juniors.

Most girls older than 12 have curves and boobs user
I'd guess 16 though too, very standard age for this sort of thing
Old enough to be a little independent and get into trouble but still under the rule of parents

Look at that bust, look at that rump
Look at my boner, I'm going to erupt
Look at that waifu, look at those legs
she's the best semen demon I've ever seen

So why does Melissa hang out with Milo? Is she suicidal?

Probably likes the thrill. Maybe has a crush on him too

Stacy disagrees.

adrenaline junkie and gambling addiction.

Phineas and Ferb had a very weak start. It took about 10 or so episodes before it found its groove.

P&F thrives on meta through repetitiveness. Milo Murphy does not seem to.

Thanks! Can't believe no one's commented on this yet.

the show is not even /out/ yet
and you already ruined it for me
get your dicks out of innocent cartoons

I want to LOVE that SLUT.

You're asking for the impossible

>get your dicks out of innocent cartoons
where in the world do you think you are

slap ass

I'm sure Candace will learn to appreciate that flatness has its benefits

How about no.

Right now.

I think it's aiming for a 9-12 audience, and I don't think they'll have trouble understanding the verbal humor, and younger kids will find the outlandish situations themselves to be the source of entertainment.
So far the show's just pretty OK but I can see it becoming better and picking up steam after we know all the characters more. For one the joke density isn't near the level of late P&F yet but after everything's established and they find their groove with the characterizations that should improve too.

I'm reluctant to pass plot/character judgement on the pilot but I will anyway.
Here are my hot takes.

+Nice animation, as expected of XD by now
+Visual appeal, good angles
+Had mild keks at the wolf preserve joke
+Theme song is good
+The "background" kids seem pretty amusing, hopefully they'll be as fun as they are in P&F
+Accordion
+I like the dog.
+I think Weird Al's sense of humor will do good things for this

-The other jokes fell flat. Again, things can only go up after the pilot, so hopefully it'll improve
-Weird Al can't voice a kid. Not that he's a bad VA, he just can't do a kid well.
-After seeing the cast, I hoped it wouldn't get stuck in the loop of MC, gril, token, but they upped the ante by making the token neurotic and panicky and the gril confident and aggressive. I am so sick of this it's an automatic drop for me, so I hope they improve.
-Undergrounders were boring

?Hoping to see some songs from this, obviously.
?I really, REALLY hope this isn't just hijinks: the series. They have fantastic potential for a continuous plotline and/or weird shit. This is a great premise and I want them to run with it. Put someone in danger. Have them find out Milo is a actually a chaos god. Do something for christsake.
?Character design is really likable in spite of its blandness. At least that's my opinion.

As for your waifu... you've really lost your touch if you're gonna make this fish-eyed ginger bundle of bland, this albino Sam Manson your FOTM, Cred Forums. I remember when you guys wanted to fuck sheep and crazy elves and robots. Get your head back in the game.

is this like a Penn zero type of deal?

>-Milo's okay, but Weird Al does not sound like a kid.

Well, no he sounds like Weird Al. That's the reason you hire him. He's Weird Al. Im not gonna say if that's always a good or a bad thing but he does what he's there for.

>advocating sheep-fucking over delicious redhead
Found the Finn.

Removed some of those annoying sketch lines from their faces. Don't have time for a more thorough edit

No, this one actually has some effort put into it, and it isn't written by a bunch of failed standup comedians

Jew?

They may have wanted to researched that better

But being jew has nothing to do with being a trouble magnet

yeah, nothing bad every happens to the jews

Was my first thought too (especially since the whole horizontal bus-stop lineup setup is reminiscent of many South Park scenes) but obviously I knew that isn't where it was going

that was a long time ago, and it's just a myth anyway

>>It's dark and dirty and full of weird smells
chan's ad campaign last year

>Subteranus

okay, that got me. Im not proud of it but it made me laugh.

Like one user said, make his hair black and he is now Klaus Nomi

Diogee is great. Best pet.

IT was okay-ish but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and wait for more episodes.

To be honest, P&F's first episodes were really boring for me (specially Rollercoaster). It wasn't until more episodes in where the humor and character resonated with me. So I assume it will be the same with this.

When this show was first announced, my initial thought was...
>Weird Al is in this? Please don't let there be porn.
And when I saw this, I immediately thought...
>OH COME O..actually, that's kinda funny, I'll let it slide.

I just want to say what would you guys think if one of the characters, preferably the girl was gay? The white guy main character with black and girl best friends is a bit too cliche, don't you think?

I don't know what I'd think, at this point there's no hints that would incline one to speculate on such matters, I ain't got time for headcanons
It's possible in CURRENT YEAR but it's not a given

You're gay enough to cover the whole cast.

>not shipping the nerd and the new age guy

If only the black guy. Milo and Melissa are just too cute together

>Clarence and SU are both still drawn with pencil and then scanned in and cleaned up, believe it or not.
Not tablets?

I will give it some credit on one thing.

It's, so far, not another cliche high school series about a misunderstood outcast. There where no bullies, no LOL JOCKs, no cliques. The show runners are not using it as a means to express what a shitty time they had in high school that they never got over.

Nope. We learned this from an SU crew member posting some hand-drawn keyframe sheets, some Tumblr people tried to call bullshit, and then a few other crew members from those shows (Ian JQ and Spencer Rothbell off the top of my head) spoke up and verified that they do indeed actually draw both shows on paper.

I like the girl.

Well, we've barely had any time at school yet, so you can't say for certain.
The show does feel pretty unique so far, though in a less obvious way than P&F. I also think it lacks breakout appeal and won't last anywhere near as long, though with Dan & Swampy's creative instincts I think it'll develop into something quite good after the first few episodes.
I am interested in seeing more of this world and learning more about the characters, I just hope that every episode doesn't have to be so manic.

Reminder that no matter how bad of a time you had in high school, Butch Hartman had it worse

Eh, no. But you can usually get a sense of these things really easily. So far the most antagonistic one is the glasses kids and even he was resigned indignation than outright animosity and the only reason people kept some distance from Milo was him being a harbinger of chaos. Aside from they they seem to hold him in well regard.

If I was going to bully Butch Hartman in school I'd call him Bitch Fartman.

...

As a few others have said it seems to weird to have dan and swampy working with weird al had a show with no music. However aside from that I enjoyed it its silly and I look forward to seeing how it can go from here. Also the semen demon is nice.

MUH.

>Weird Al voices MC
>no songs

All of my why.

Never going to happen.

Character asking is brown. Jihad? People assume he's muslim and will kill us all?

Melissa would be cuter if she didn't look so smug all the time

And this is good

Mom Dan and Swampy are trying to replace me

>that look on her face
I think she's thinking what I'm thinking.

>+Nice animation, as expected of XD by now
Are you kidding? This is more Seth MacFarlane bullcrap.

but without the furries

seriously, what the fuck is the deal with that show and anthros

Oh my

a-are they college students or high schoolers?

melissa has been a juvenile delinquent. her extracurricular activities have led to her being held back a couple years. the rest of the class are 10-11 yo's

I'd firebomb disney offices if they turned my waifu into a disgusting dyke

High school current thought is she is roughly 16

Alright, that I can deal with.

Is this meathead-looking dude a recurring character?
I'd show him my rock collection and maybe cuddle a bit

how long is this leak out and there is already porn of it, man you guys are faster than sonic.

>mfw I'm shipping you without your consent.

M8 this was made the instant the promo images were made public.

This is Disney
They didn't even let Alex Hirsch show gay characters in the background of Gravity Falls even with all the other envelope-pushing they granted him (the teasing with the cops notwithstanding.) Your waifu is probably safe

Good. You were worst girl.

sorry i live in europe, and i haven't heard that show even existed 2 hours ago.

go yell at some cheese. that always makes you feel better.

That's nice dear. Now get in line with the other used goods.

Pretty sure Milo is gay.

kek

No one will ever replace you in my heart.

I welcome her

Is there a drive link or something?

Are you serious? This new girl blows each one out of the fucking water. None of them can compare.

That seems most likely, I mean shit if you have need for thrills why not hang out with the walking disaster zone.

u lost?

>face sitting
oh yea because you fucking know i want my nose to go up someones smelly asshole while they probably scoot a poot without meaning to or meaning to

>not wanting a qt to sit on your face

what are you fucking gay or something?

>a qt
that's incredibly wrong, just like your taste in shows

how is it
>incredibly wrong
to eat ass

why are you so vanilla

are you new or something?

These episodes were alright, but the humor's kinda weak so far.

Now that we know Mrs. Murawski really is her name, I'm just waiting to know when we'll see her in the actual show and how often she'll show up.

First, I said animation, not character design.

2nd, i stand by my choice of words. The action was nice. The character movements are smooth, not jerky. There were no obvious errors. It didn't look tweeny.

There were also way more camera angles than Family Guy. And only slightly more than American Dad.

This is fun but I really can't see this lasting more than a season or two

This girl is actual living sex though seriously.

>The white guy main character with black and girl best friends is a bit too cliche, don't you think?
No, because it hasn't actually been in a cartoon since like Danny Phantom.

Not exactly seeing the appeal of the redhead.

Me neither. For me, it's all about .

...

It's the Astley Sweater.

PORN WHEN

whos going to put the BangBus logo in there?

This was better than very early P&F but not as good as most of P&F.

Also I vaguely miss having two plotlines

I think there needs to be more redheads in that "used" department.

We can't keep up with all or yesterday's flavors of the month.

I was really hoping Candace, Stacy and Vanessa would all be classmates to the main cast of this show. It is set in Danville right? Hopefully they'll at least all go to the same school.

I liked it. It needs time to mature, though, obviously.

It's set in another part of the Tri-State Area

I'm calling in Jeffville until we get an actual name

I wonder if they are going to introduce subplots like they did with P&F or is going to be more focused, also while they probably wouldn't do it, but i wonder how an antagonist would work in this premise.

Anneville

did some one say mature?

HNNNNGGGG, I love it!

I'll have to disagree. When I watched PnF's premiere, it immediately struck me as an original show, something quite different from anything else on TV. It certainly got better after a few episodes, but even the first felt fresh.

I don't get that same feeling from Milo. It's quite a tall order, maybe not even reasonable, but with so many new cartoons on TV it's become more important than ever for a show to distinguish itself quickly.

I didn't question whether kids will understand it, but whether they'd be drawn to it.

Someone needs to draw it.

its funny because you can literally see her nipple

perhaps an antagonist would be some kind of super-lucky kid and Milo decides to hang out around him/her to see if it cancels his negative luck stat out. turns out it doesn't work that way and Milo's newfound good luck renders his preparation useless and the lucky kid gets beaned by a falling beaver or something and blames it all on Milo.

youtube.com/watch?v=aS7tkm0Lv54

...

That intro is really catchy, i expect nothing less from the weird al yankovic.

I can't fucking stand the joke about something bad happening but the character is bored or doesn't care. I didn't expect the show to not be that though.

It's not that he's bored or doesn't care, it's that it's been happening for so long that he's used to it by now.

Well yea I get that, which is why I said I expected it, but it still comes off the same way to me. They still make it that kind of joke through the first episode and some of the second. I don't know why, I just hate that.

Okay, watched. My first impression is: I'm watching a PnF episode, but without Candace, Doof and Perry. Vanessa is now a ginger and Jeremy is promoted to protagonist after get heavily sunburned.

I liked the main premise, but I can't help to feel that an one hour special would sell the series better. But I'm interesting in follow and see how the things will turn.

By now, I'm betting they'll turn glasses kid into Candace 2.0.

not the guy you're talking to, but Milo's level of preparedness and coolness was pretty hilarious for me. The bit where the others are falling around in the subway carriage and Milo doesn't even look worried got a hearty kek from me.

I'd like some more funny faces from everyone seeing Milo's jinxes, though.

Prep-time - The Series indeed.

that was my thought exactly. I think we finally have a character who can out-prep-time Batman.

oh, and fuck you captcha, stop giving me weird German text with characters that don't exist on regular keyboards. just give me a Russian one and have done with itbwhy don't you.

>iTunes and Amazon
Die in a fire.

okay, itunes I can understand, itunes can well and truly do one as far as I'm concerned, but what's so bad about amazon instant? I've had nothing but good experiences with it.

Kill yourself.

>moving goalposts

What the hell are you doing on the internet if you can't handle this?

>I can't fucking stand the joke about something bad happening but the character is bored or doesn't care.
This is why Milo have a new friend who will react to all the happenings.

I think I would have preferred Weird Al as the high strung, 5 coffees in the morning, nervous wreck, while Milo was the a chill, Ferb-esque silent type.

We all know Candace was the true main character of Phineas and Ferb, and that's who Weird Al should have been, a male version of Candace.

yeah the eyes then to go off the models

>"Hey kids, wanna buy some drugs?"

Seems like he'll have the same dynamics with the glasses guy like Buford with Baljeet. Minus the bullying part.

It seems more like "evil" nerd kid and his muscle rather than Buford and Baljeet, but it is a little too early to tell how the dynamics are going to play out.

Best new cartoon

I don't care how lazy her eye is that girl is fucking hot

Why do we all love redheads so much? Seriously? Why so many redheads?

Yeah, seeing Al as the collected voice of reason is just weird. He's more of a hyperkinetic weirdo.

WHY HAS HE NOT PLAYED MAX YET!

how else are they sposta manage a squint in that style?

I think that's standard of Korean studios (like Rough Draft Korea, SMIP, and Saerom) when they don't do flash-style animation

>and the gril confident and aggressive

You call this upping the ante? The girl being confident is STANDARD PROCEDURE BECAUSE POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!

You dumbfuck. It would be surprising if she was like a real twat, useless, annoying, self-entitled, parasitic, etc. Female characters are always portrayed as everything they have never been, especially the "main character" ones in a show.

I was on board with what you saying at first but Jesus Christ, user.
Your anger is delicious

By upping the ante I meant making a bad thing worse. Her personality is generic and boring.

We should talk about who hurt you though user

if the style can't properly convey the required emotion or expressions intended then the style is bad

I liked it. PandF's style of humor definitely carried over. It's pretty much the same show just with a different cast and gimmick which I'm fine with.

I find it's much more fun if you assume Milo is a chaos god toying with mere mortals. I just like that we're in a universe where Weird Al
voices the main character in the successor to Phineas and Ferb.

My only complaint is that there isn't that dynamic that the Doof and Perry segments added to PandF. I hope they can find some way to replace them.

I liked it as well. If I still had cable I would follow it.

I think it can carry itself with a single plot rather than the 2/3 plot structure of PnF. The main group's dynamic needs some work, but that usually takes 1/2 to 2 seasons. Dan and Swampy's ability to play with meta should allow them to make the most of the premise.

You know, i think the black kid is actually someone who has incredible luck. Until he met milo he never experienced anything close to an "adventure"(despite living in the world of phineas and ferb) and now that Milo has met him, he hasn't been seriously in danger at all. We were told that Milo got a scar before, but in these two episodes he was completely unharmed. The aliens also brought them back immediately after the black kid told them to. He was the one who saved them from the rubble even though pushing that block caused it to collapse.

The girl is actually the only normal one in that group

Presumably he is new to the Tri-State Area and didn't live in New York, since the Avengers are a thing. I don't really want him to be an anti-Milo, since that kind of removes the point of him being prepared for anything. I think the dynamic works better if he is just along for the ride.

Apparently this show is gonna go down a similar route with a sort of time travel subplot, including two future pistachio protectors voiced by Dan and Swampy against a sort of evil Dr. Zone with his Time Ape, should be interesting, you can check out the characters in the poster as little cameos. I wonder why theyre not even in the first ep tho.
As for that aspect, I find it welcome, as of now, the Milo jinxes have all been realistic stuff, aside from the aliens, I want to see what they do with the whole time travel aspect.

not quite "anti"-milo
In terms of powerlevels, let's say Milo has a level of 100 of badluck, while the new kid has a good luck of 50. So it cancels enough out for them to not get hurt, but not enough to cancel out bad things altogether.

Of course the actual reason is obviously that disney can't show the main good characters getting hurt on screen, this is why everything bad only happened in the past

It may have been the booze or weed talking, but I loved the pilot. The mole people were top kek material.

the show has potential, and i feel like they're spending the first couple episodes deciding what they really want the show to be about, kinda like what they did with Phineas and Ferb
the bad luck coincidences feel way to coincidental, like where in P&F the coincidences happened because someone else was doing shit somewhere else (usually Doof) but in this show stuff happens if its convenient to the plot. i feel they should go the extra mile to write how the shit is happening rather than just going "its just bad luck!". they already are clever enough to make sure stuff comes together in the end of the episode like with the food so i imagine it wouldn't be so much of a trouble to them
the black friend isn't that annoying, but a character's who's only purpose is to freak out can get old fast, and will only get worse if that stays his only character trait.
if they just wanted a character who was a complement to Milo's illogical bad luck i'd say the Asian friend is already capable of that since he's the more "nerdy" friend but not exactly overly lame and whinny. plus he already has some established relationships with the other characters while the black friend is the "new kid" but i'd imagine this would go away
i have enough fate in Dan and Jeff to make a good show though, the show just needs to find itself

>the moment to kook breaks out of character when he remembers he's allergic to dogs

John Hodgman was great.

I thought the kook was Dan, he sounded a lot like Doof, but he wasn't.

Bradley isn't asian

Finally watched it. It wasn't a bad cartoon, for what was essentially just a steady stream of sight gags with no emotional conflict attached. A bit hard to see this lasting for very many episodes.

Have you watch Rollercoaster and Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror recently?

>she knows Milo and is surprised the condom broke

C'mon, really? Was she just hoping for a steamroller to fall?

>trolololololo derpface. no seriously answer this
god i miss doof's daily dirt

I feel the opposite but I hear you

what would gummi licorice even be?
there are a lot of good gags here, the main issue is they're telegraphed and paced wrong. the coyote woods thing would have been fine if it was paced more like lisa's monster island dream. people keep on reacting to gags in a way that isn't funny and makes the gag less funny
I dig that he's nonplussed about the shit he goes through, that's really funny. but when he straight up LIKES it and is surprised anyone wouldn't? that goes well beyond the healthy 'fuck normalcy' attitude I miss from the 90s and well into the realm of unrelatable insanity. On top of that, if he and the cute girl are so confident, it breaks any tension. Obviously nothing's ever going to turn out badly for him, so what's the point of the danger? and for that matter, why are the other kids so convinced otherwise, if this is obviously what happens every day?
The action is really creative, but unless i'm watching indiana jones (and again unless i feel real danger and consequences) that's not really entertaining.. at all.

this is the fourth dog i'm aware of now with that name. bonzer.

they had a few sequences of complex animation in each episode. more than I'd expect. the wolf didnt need to be that fluid and dynamic

i like how recognizable they are even simplified down that far.

the episodes did each feel weirdly focused, didnt they? it was like.. well, we're not cutting away to anything, so this scene has to keep going.. and.. wow, we just saw what happens after that thing in a cartoon happens.. gee.. wow we just saw the bit BEFORE the bit we usually see. this sure is.. thorough

>By now, I'm betting they'll turn glasses kid into Candace 2.0.
he reminded me more of Irving's brother

yeah i don't know what the Scheiße is going on lately

The P&F art style still doesn't do a damn thing for me, it's so ugly.

all that talk about 'pudding packs' I thought she had just pulled out Pudding Skin Singles

>I find it's much more fun if you assume Milo is a chaos god toying with mere mortals.
....
.. yeah. that'll work.

Thanks user,, you are the hero Cred Forums deserves

to me he sounded like a guy sort of trying to sound like a guy sort of trying to sound like doof

I imagine she let her horniness cloud her judgment and forgot

except candace

I'm surprised Disney is promoting gambling

actually they showed while one person may win out big, everyone else loses, even though the chances were against that one person.

You people have to remember, just because the main character does it, doesn't mean it's suppose to teach kids something nor that it will teach kids something

if she said something along the lines of "It was good betting my next 20 lunches on my friends success, because i trust in them" THEN they would have done what you claimed.

Jinx

So, when are more episodes on the way?

>I have to say, I LIKE it.

Is the main character as bland as Phineas and Ferb were? Is it gonn abe carried by background characters again. Also I've always hated this artsyle. Why do eyes have to go over the head's outline?

Is Milo's back pack Trans-Dimensional?

>Or just cartoon physics?

Has no one received the jest of this joke yet?
youtube.com/watch?v=DtZxCoI-cLI
>Your female aren't you?

Considering there's some mystical shit going on with his life, his backpack just might be the root cause of it all.

Heh, heh, Likes christmas mornin..

I will never get used to the overhanging eye character design

Season one Bed 10 Adult Gwen, Great taste!

Ah, the whole balance of the universe stlick..

nah, milo is in a coma blah blah blah....

Ah, like the Dreamscape ..

saw the first episode/half hour. Pretty good. I hate the art, but there's enough action and sarcastic dialogue to keep me entertained.

I do wonder how long this premise would actually be sustainable before they need to start rehashing old characters.

lame

nice animotion but the voices are grating

need more lewds, seen all the current ones

imagine what weird shit people would be saying about the art style if they hadnt seen P+F's first

a lot of people come here from PF and most can agree the artstyle is incredibly ill fitting for this show.

yeah ponies arent allowed. their pony las vegas just had DDR and skee ball.

this is the first i'm hearing that

Scroll up.

nobody has had any problem with the art style vis-a-vis its propriety, only a few wishing it went FULL weirdass geometryheads. which i don't understand
though i will say diogee is fucking weirdlooking

Cute but doesn't feel like a premise hard enough to push more episodes and there's not any super likable characters past the girl. Phineas and ferb kind of had a million background characters that were fun and reflected the premise a bit better.

...

With all the natural chaos, I really don't think this series will ever need a villain.
Like death in the "Last Destination" movies Milo's going to be dodging new disaster of the week for a good while.
>But I really want to know more about that book bag.

I just hope the character designs/animation get a bigger budget for the next few episodes.
>She looks like a blowup doll in some scenes.

the animation is already way way better than it needs to be for a silly goofy cartoon

The animation wasn't exactly the problem, just sometimes the characters anatomy would appear thick and thin the next...Mostly with Melissa.
>It was a bit of an itch.

oh yeah, that part is quite loose.. but I have nothing against it. Might as well start out loose and then tighten over time, instead of the opposite.

I hate you hipster scum so goddamn much

tell us how you really feel.

or rather, don't. fuck off.

I feel a little nauseous but it should pass.

>It's not the mold-breaker that PnF or Gravity Falls were
>mold breaker
Wouldn't go that far. Doesn't help that it doesn't find a solid formula until half way into the first season which is what saved it and made it became the 1# children's show at its peaked. GF was just following the trend of what every show was doing back then and it wouldn't exist without them or PF's success.

>TFW my gf is a red head

I blame it on all the Cred Forums material

Just watched the first two episodes.
That was decently entertaining.
It seems like they took some money out of the character animation and put it in the prop animation. The subway car flying down the tracks, both times, seems to show that.

what trend exactly would you say GF was following?

Lorefag shows

oh yeah, there's so many of those. like uh....

i like the fat kid who looks like Tubsy

Indeed, the characters in P&F did stay constant..mostly

>But over all, this was an enjoyable 21mins

Adventure Time
Young Justice
Tron Rising
Korra

Four off the top of my head all premiered before GF

anything CN airs.

Mystery Inc
Adventure Time
Tron Uprising
Clone Wars

Hell Mystery Inc outright proves that GF wasn't anything special

meant for

>Adventure Time
>lore
goodjoke.jpg

>three action shows
you're telling me you think gravity falls was trying to follow the trend of superhero-type action shows. by being a goofy simpsony cartoon with no violence. riight.

t.Rock lover
>Doesn't count because because they're action shows

You lost kid. Give it a rest.

>Mystery Inc
That one at least makes sense. but that show was the only one of its type, and it's obvious CN didn't find it very successful so it's weird to think disney would

>Action shows can't have lore
>Storytelling only counts if its comedic

>implying either of those shows have any lore at all

What?
what are you even.. can you follow the conversation?
This guy is accusing GF of following some trend of having lore, and the examples he gives are all in an entirely different genre, one where it's normal to have lore and it would be bizarre if it didn't

>but that show was the only one of its type,
You're joking right?

Oooh this thread is on fire this morning!

But I want to know if Milo's bag is just plan toon physics or more important to the over all plot.
>..Clues

You did lose. I'm not even him, but I don't think Alex Hirsch was following a trend or getting any significant influence from concurrently running shows, he was much more drawing from stuff he watched as a kid like Eerie, Indiana and Twin Peaks (and biggest of all The Simpsons in sensibility) and otherwise was imagining the kind of thing he wanted to watch growing up.
And it gained popularity because it was an instantly appealing show and the lore caught people's imagination, and not for any other reason.

goddamn this is some Chris Chan-tier backpedaling.

>This guy is accusing GF of following some trend of having lore, and the examples he gives are all in an entirely different genre
So you are saying action shows can't have lore? Gotcha

Alex Hirsch only made a poor man's Mystery Inc.

so far he doesn't seem to have anything in it he couldn't physically have. the magical part is how he knew what to have ahead of time.. because he couldn't have had much room for anything else.

>it's a 'lorefags actively shit up a thread by own volition' thread
thanks for hoarding up the cancer in a single thread, I guess.

>MUH GENRE

He just fucking said that you're pretty much saying that action shows don't count when fucking lore doesn't have a preexist stance on any genre its just fucking there at the expense of the viewer. Saying they don't count is retarded. Fact is during the late 00s you saw a boom of more storydriven shows after half a decade of episodic crap, Gravity Falls didn't break any mold it was falling a popular trend at the time.

is it 2011? I haven't seen Cred Forums like this in a long time

Except none of those shows have any lore at all.

I like Mystery Inc just fine but GF was funnier and more entertaining

>backpedaling
>Why is GF so special
>Duhhhhhhhh
>Why is Mystery Inc so special
>Duhhhhhhhh

If you're not gonna prove a point don't even bother to respond.

If this is trolling it's pretty good.
I'm saying NON-action shows can't have lore. if they do, it's a special treat or innovation

Yeah that was pretty good, like watching an animated version of Calamity James.

>but I don't think Alex Hirsch was following a trend or getting any significant influence from concurrently running shows
Then you're quite delusional

you have a, uh, tutorial for that? Apple Music DRM sucks

>he was much more drawing from stuff he watched as a kid like Eerie, Indiana and Twin Peaks (and biggest of all The Simpsons in sensibility) and otherwise was imagining the kind of thing he wanted to watch growing up.
Uh-huh. And Pickle and Peanut was conceived as a concept decades before Regular Show because the creator ate a pickle and peanut as a kid

>I'm saying NON-action shows can't have lore.
Look at this faggot

>potato face
>lore

exactly. that's what made this show so unusual. and GF, and even mystery inc though that's a greyer area

When GF's pilot was produced, Adventure Time hadn't aired yet, and even that has only the barest, crappiest-written threads of continuity, and it really didn't even kick in until late season 2.
other than Mystery Inc I can think of literally no prior precedent for a serialized western animated comedy for kids
I'd buy that he was inspired by Venture Bros or Moral Orel much more than I'd believe that he'd ever even watched any of the shows you mentioned

Plus I have to say I really like the impossible backpack, it would be neat to say they're gonna tie it in with some LORE stuff. But being they had aliens in the first episode as a 100% joke I know it's not that kind of show.

crossover with Phineas and Ferb when?????

A cameo from someone in the cast is almost certainly inevitable
I'm eagerly anticipating the first mention of the tri-state area

well I'm sure he watched them
but I severely doubt he was like "I wanna make the next avatar" with gravity falls.

>and even that has only the barest, crappiest-written threads of continuity, and it really didn't even kick in until late season 2.
Sausaga Rock Lover

>Sausaga Rock Lover
English please.

AT's pilot was produced before GF's faggot and yes it did air before Graviy Fall's pilot was even finished on Random Cartoons.

>and even that has only the barest, crappiest-written threads of continuity, and it really didn't even kick in until late season 2.
Oh you're just a jackass. Carry on

>Venture Bros and Moral Orel

Premiered before the cut off point.

Yes but GF is better than AT in every way so your point is invalid.

>GF is better than AT in every way
People still say this after S2?

Indeed, the back pack seems to have everything he needs when the situation arises, I wonder if he's a type of chaos entity in human form or the back pack belongs to said entity.

>That poor wolf did nothing wrong.

AT hasn't been good since S5.

>implying Adventure Time's basic-ass pilot in any way resembled or foreshadowed the traits of the show you're accusing GF of ripping off

i think it's more like he has a bad luck correcting reflex. he's got exactly the kind of pessimism where he sees bad shit coming, except accurately, and then feels happy about it happening to him instead of normal things

I bet it'll be with the teen versions.

>Hopefully.

>Milo is nearly crushed by one of Phineas and Ferb's inventions that was taken away by the Mysterious Force.

I mean Phineas and Ferb took a few eps to really catch fire too.

>Oh look there's ahuman boy named Penn
>Oh look he has a dog named Jake
>Oh look they're saving the Princess Bubblegum from the Ice King
>Oh look there's Lady Rainicorn
>Oh look Penn is talking to Abraham Lincoln on Mars
Yep totally not like the TV series

Get outta here /u/.

Good point, I liked how he pointed out that life within the mundane is for the NORMAL kids.
But takes it in stride as a everyday adventure...Forgot pic
>Milo reminds me of my favorite mutant, Long Shot.

Buford and Baljeet were kind of amazing.

There was little-to-no hint that it was going to be any deeper than a surreal gag cartoon, it's pretty fucking absurd to watch it and realize that This of all things evolved into a shipfest with arcs and lore and such

I kinda don't like that, and I think it's going to remove all sense of weight and conflict
but yeah he is kinda like longshot. uhh longshot isn't a mutant, right? he's a genetically modified alien from, i want to say, another dimension..

well most cartoons, if you look into their behind the scenes stuff, wanted to have more continuity, but were told by executive mandate they had to make every episode interchangable. everyone wants a little story
it's not like AT has ever gotten up its own ass deep, just more like taking ideas and running longer than 11 minutes with them. it's only the advertisement that's ever made out that it's this big epic thing, which worked tremendously to the show's detriment, as it got people a lot more worked up and expectationy than the show could possibly fulfill

An interview with Spencer Rothbell, head writer/voice of Clarence revealed that they've been experimenting with having an arc to the episodes they've been writing recently, which is really interesting considering the type of show it is. I definitely don't think there's ever been a low key slice-of-life cartoon with one.
Which is why y'all keep making me nervous spreading rumors around the board that it's cancelled

Yes, the newer versions have him genetically modified for Mojoworld.
But I remember in the old ones I thought he was born with the gift of insight. Great, now I have to look it up.
>Ok, who signed up for the naughty party after school?

Forgot pic..

>it's not a party, it's an intimate get-together!
>LISSA PARTY! LISSA PARTY!

You sir have managed a smile on my face, he's your Banana Sticker.

I want more of this girl here.

Gretchen getting tall weirds me out.

>Chrissie Fit as Amanda Lopez, a student in Milo's class and a perfectionist.
She got a relatively high billing in the press release so you're sure to get it, sooner or later

>prominent and vertical nosebridge
>big lips
>Butt facecheeks
she's all yours

It was...okay. Biggest problem is that it wasn't funny enough and yeah I agreed that Weird Al playing someone that's not him doesn't feel right at all. I might not pick this up until I'm sure it finds its footing much like Phineas and Ferb so hopefully it isn't canned in the first season or gets treated poorly like Wander.

Those dick sucking lips.

..kaay.. yeah the lips i'm interested in are further down. the ones on her face i'm happy to just be nice and simple.. not a big grotesque prolapsed anus

>mfw this turns into a Wander's Hat type deal

not familiar

He's gonna wreck it.

am I the only one who realizes it's probably a direct reference to Felix's magic bag of tricks

huh

how many semen demons will this series spawn.

It's alright. Enjoyable enough to monitor its progression, but it might take a while for things to flesh out, so I'll binge it at a later date.

Definitely not, it seems that Milo also has that happy-go-lucky persona to him like 50s/60s Felix did as well.

6 regulars, 4 backgrounds and a dozen or so one offs.

At least the porn it spawns could be decent.

>OR WHAT? You'll release the dogs, or the bees, or the dogs with bees in their mouths and when they bark they shoot bees at you?

has no one else found any story boarders?

what is this

>twitter.com/AshMichelleSims/media

could you actually, like, explain it to me?

She's a storyboard artist counting down the days until the premire

That's some cute shit.

someone @ her a bunch of Melissa porn

No don't do that. Man what is wrong with me that I can't even enjoy something online without my first thought being "welp let's ruin it." I've been here too long.

awesome. That doesn't look like the sort of thing a storyboard artist would make. Neato.

she's a big girl, i'm sure she's seen it

for you

good analysis m8

Wander from wander over yonder has a hat, a magic hat, you if you put your hand into the hat you will pull out whatever you need at the time.
its rarely ever used because the hat gives you what you need, not what you want, and that is surprisingly useless sometimes.

huh. seems like that would be a crutch
milo at least only seems to pull shit out about a third of the time, because that's what he brought. and he remembered what he brought, which is a finite number of items that he felt would be useful.

I can see this getting real old real fast.

>seems like that would be a crutch
the hat is (maybe) sentient and sometimes a smart-ass, also, wander doesn't like to use it to much because it was the cause of an intergalactic war when two guys found it and fought over it, so he rarely uses it for anything other than sleeping in or banjo storage.

is that seriously a plot point in that show?
man, sometimes I wonder how people can possibly like that cartoon, but shit like that helps me understand. Not enough to watch another episode, but..

well, imagine if every episode of a show ended after 3 minutes because character X pulled out Y and wins forever.
its like Felix's magic bag, the second you rely on it too much any problem becomes a non-issue

that was kind of my original point. you adequately explained why he doesn't rely on it, I was just surprised something that complex and interesting was in a cartoon that silly and mindless-looking

the clip explaining it
youtube.com/watch?v=m3K6L-L1L0g
you would be suprised how complex some of the stuff in WoY is, its just sort of spread throughout a bunch of silliness.

She's an artist. not a VA. I'm sure she's seen it before.

Probably made some herself.

funny you say that, it's weird how disconnected actors are from the common man. They don't seem to watch much media or spend much time online.
