GHOUL evening, kiddies! Your old pal Boo-co here, helping you usher in the chilly days of autumn with a few bone-chilling tales of terror!

Seems back in 1982, George Romero got a few friends together and made a movie homage (or should I say, HEMORRHAGE) to the EC Comics of old. And whats a comic inspiration without a comic DIE-in to go with it, eh?

So strap yourselves in for a putrid pentalogy of pain I like to call...CREEPSHOW!

Our first fearsome fable is about a disgruntled daddy and a few bratty kids who get whats coming to them!

The film version features the famed Ed Harris.

I always knew Bedelia was a HOT head, but wow!

Up next we have a lurid love letter to the lore of Lovecraft!

The film version stars a very convincing Stephen King as its star.

Whats the matter, buddy? Plant got your tongue?

...

Eh, I'm sure that'll turn out fine. At the very least, it'll WEED out the weaklings of society, right kiddies?

Next is monster of a melody about a henpecked husband.

The film version features a lovely performance by Adrienne Barbeau's cleavage.

Fun fact: the effects director of the film, one Tom Savini, nicknamed the monster 'Fluffy'.

Thanks.

Now for my personal favorite story, a a tale of bitter revenge from beyond the (watery) grave.

Mainly because it stars one of my favorite actors Leslie Nielsen, in one of his rare post-Airplane non-comedy roles.

...

...

...

Seriously kiddies. For a guy who was so great at comedy, Leslie could be downright chilling. He will be missed.

...

...

RIP, Les. You were one of the best...

And for our final fearsome fable, we've got a story that'll really get under your skin!

...

...

Are we bugging you yet, kiddies?

Boco I hate you but I cannot hate the terrible halloween puns

thank you

You're welcome.

I've heard of bed bugs, but this is ridiculous, eh kiddies?

CRAAAAAWLING IN MY SKIIIIIN...

Well, thats all for tonight, boils and ghouls! Hope you had fun reading a few rotten rhymes as we enter the chilly season of fear!

Until next time, pleasant SCREAMS!

Thanks for the story time! The color is amazing in this comic.

Glad you liked it.

Thanks for sharing, Boco. I'm a big fan of the original Creepshow movie.

>It... It's meteorcrap!!
Nothing can top Stephen King's incredulous exclamation of "Meteor shit!?" from the movie.

I was a kid when this comic/movie came out. I think this might've been the first comic I ever saw that had this level of gore.
