Will the mystery of The Nutshack theme ever be solved?

Is Phil from "the stone" or "'Frisco"?
Is Jack from the "pier" or the "P.I."?
Did Tito Dick "raise" Phil or does he "hates" Phil?

What the fuck are they saying at Horats section?

HE HATES PHIL

its pretty obviously "raised' in the music but 'he hates phil' is funnier

>Steven Universe

When are we finally gonna do a, "Cred Forums sings the Nutshack theme" because it's been long overdue.

The Nutshack theme is so dense with meaning that it could be either. Like, did you know that the 12 "nutshacks" that open the song represent the 12 apostles?

In order of nutshacks, they are:
Peter
Andrew
James
John
Philip
Barthalomew
Thomas
Matthew
James the Lesser
Thaddeus
Simon
Judas

That's what they start getting more intense as the song continues.

"The stone" could be referring to Frisco.

The "pier" is a metaphor for leaving your old life and entering a new one, much like a man leaving his life for the life of a PI, which is often ridiculed for being outdated and a Hollywood stereotype.

Dick and Phil have a complex relationship; while Dick hates Phil personally, he loves him like a son.

Horat's section is a wonder of modern music: it refers to his large ears, large eyes, and his alcoholism.

>Tito Dick, Dick man baby! guest starred in an episode of universal Steven

Amazing.

Of course there's also religious imagery too.
The stone refers also to the stone used to seal Jesus's tomb, a symbol of overcoming the impossible.

The pier also refers to the fact that like half the apostles were fisherman, in addition to your astute observations.

"Raise/hates" could also be said to represent the duality of God's relationship with man, where He would simultaneously smite him with fires, floods, and pestilence yet wish to raise him up to join the Kingdom of Heaven.

About Horat:
"And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell." -Matthew 5:29
The thing about Horat is, his LEFT eye is the one that has been plucked out, so now he not only has only a sinful eye left, but that sinful eye is quite large ("so big-eyed"), explaining his behavior. Also the incomprehensible slurred speech of an alcoholic.

Also, they're all the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, but that's a story for another day.

>it's generic animu

One of the creators of this show is a Christian, so it's not too absurd to believe this.
