The Brazilian dubbing is pure garbage.

Nicole Scherzinger will be Moana mother in the English dub, LoL.

>lame gag to appeal to kids and that tattoo scoreboard IS a running joke.

it's just the trailer. it's only for normies, the movie wil be good.

So why have the last few team up movies been about antagonism on the guys part and him constantly being shit?

err... what do you mean?

Tangled, wreck it Ralph, frozen, zootopia, and now moana all involve a guy that has to be tricked or otherwise dragged into the plot. They all spend a lot of the movie being made fun of or hurt for humor.

I mean I don't mind it as a stand alone concept but it's becoming a theme.

Except WiR you're right, Ralph just was tired of his shit. I see your point though, every other guy is just a punching back that happens to help the heroine. Nick and Flynn are basically same character with different backstories.

Even Gigantic is going to have an adult man who'll become literal plaything for a kid.

*punching bag

Arguably his story wasn't the plot. Fixing vanelope's shit was, it just benefited his arc in the end.

ahh yes.. they even renamed the movie to "Sugar Rush" in japan.

Moana is Vaiana in all Western Europe and in Italy is Oceania because Moana Pozzi was a well known Italian pornstar, the US isn't the only place where pro stars get mainstream recognition.

...in Frozen the dude was just trying to get repayment for his sled, and was the only reason Anna got anything done at all. You most certainly can't fault Kristoff for only being a punching bag. He visibly was the competent part of the duo.

this is starting to get on my nerves, Zootopia name couldnt be used in Europe because of some fucking Dutch Zoo no one will give a fuck about.

I think there is a undercover war between the US and EU.

gotta admire how much faith they have in this movie.

>That fish hook pattern on the right wing
Well,that's a nice detail.

Female empowerment, understood as presenting relatively weak female characters compared to their male counterparts, eventually surpassing them and coming to a situation of balance and equality.
In the practical field,of course, everything goes overboard and all people can think of is "cultural appropiation",racism and sexism. I wonder what would come out from a movie made exclusively by SJWs.

>I wonder what would come out from a movie made exclusively by SJWs

oh user.. we know. We know VERY well.

Nah,I think Yifftopia was more of an approach to current world problems, seen through the lens of the 1980s generation, but hijacked by SJW who projected their own mental shit on it. I don't think it wasn't a bad movie, but it was a pandering effort to the wrong colective.

oh, so you dont know how this movie was made, it's okay. There's a reason why i posted old logo, not the green one.

you should google for proto-zootopia/zoodystopia.
It was the exact movie SJW would love to see.

Yes,I think you mean the old version with the collars and everything, right? I'm glad they didn't go for that script.

me too, left a bad taste in my.. uhmm.. "mouth".
>minority treated like shit
>majority racist for no reason
>brutal police
list goes on and on, that was a movie made by and for SJWs.it was like 80% ready. fully animated.

Then it's surprising they came up with something else with the movie so advanced. Do we know who saw the red flags first and stopped the machine?

Pixar.

Quite the expressive photo you got there. Thank goodness Social Jihad Warriors haven't taken over the industry (yet).

While I implore you to shut up with the SJW boogeyman, I must agree that the Zootopia we got is a great movie with a superbly balanced moral about prejudice which is not preachy nor taking sides by condemning one specific group, but instead focuses on why we all should try to better ourselves. Unlike the old version which was "stop picking on minorities!".

So thank you Pixar and Rich Moore, I guess.

I'm sorry if I annoyed you by expressing my concern over how a bunch of oversensitive asshats seem to be getting the upper hand on certain fields.

About Zootopia,it was a good movie. Not not the tolerance masterpiece everyone thinks, but a nice approach to tolerance and prejudice under the cover of a "talking animals cartoon" movie, specially if we take into account that children was the target public since the beginning.
What I wonder is who the fuck thought the original script was a good idea.

The other director of course,
you didn't see the documentary?

>I wonder what would come out from a movie made exclusively by SJWs.
A female main character, probably white let's be real, gets shit on by white CIS men, then she beats them up, followed by exhibition on some shit to induce white guilt and the like. Heavy handed with no tact, a complete soapbox movie with nothing new to add or say, and no way to say it that doesn't feel like it's giving you an aneurism from the staggering lack of self-awareness and pretention

>The brazilian dubbing is pure garbage

Which is a shame, because it's usualy top tier when it comes to animated stuff

plus it was pretty as fuck. dat fur on every animal.

in comparision, moana is going to have very pretty... water, oh and lava.

yes, I too think brazilian animated stuff is top tier

>wfw in Italy is called Oceania because Moana was the name of a popular porn star.

Wrong side of the border, but I keked anyway

So is this gonna be The Princess and the Frog 2.0? Or will the popularity momentum Disney has right now be enough to save it?

no, this time there is no execs telling writers what not to do.

it's going to be good.

how do we know that tho

it's got grade A writing team and directors.

Cred Forumsruined me, I could never look at this trailers and not imagine Moana's virgin island getting culturally enriched by Maui or by those Kakamora

not feeling it.

I think the Zootopia one is significantly different from the rest of those, really. Nick wasn't comic relief any more than Judy was.
Eh. Sure, the motivating factor of the plot was Vanellope, but Ralph was still the central character and the one with the arc.

It was just trailer, Zootopia trailers were shit too, the movie turned out fine, this one will be no different.

Honestly, Judy got injured or into more slapstick situations than Nick did. It looks like the same will happen with Moana, what with the ocean using her like a rag doll, and her bellyflopping into the water. But at the same time, she doesn't feel like the quirky clumsy cute princess type, like Anna and Punzy, while doing it.

because she's a rabbit, then it gets a pass.
i think it was balanced, i dont remember anything bad really happening to nick, maybe except when he was running away from manchas.

Why does every kids movie needs a non-human pet character?

you meant every PRINCESS movie.

to sell toys, DUH!

>This setting won't be used in the next Kingdom Hearts game

There's enough video games with tropical beaches already you can't be hurting for it that badly.

How is benis in bagina going to work in Gigantic?

dude, she's underage.

Ariel was 16 though.

these mugs look sweet.

except his face, jesus

I want to look into those eyes are he makes love to me.

Good color design, socially-aware message with a strong female pseudo-protagonist protected by some ancient nature spirit and wacky animal sidekicks. What, are they re-making Pocahontas. Because it wasn't exactly the most complex Disney film out there. In fact it was probably the very least.

Just play Wind Waker.

>work at disney world and we don't have Moana merch yet
I just want to buy this doll and not have to order it

...

that mug is racist.

>Then it's surprising they came up with something else with the movie so advanced. Do we know who saw the red flags first and stopped the machine?
The red flag was when the test audiences told Disney that they didn't understand why the protagonists want to save the city so much. The test audiences see that the city itself is shit and that it is better off destroyed. This wrecks the plot as that removes any reason why the protagonists even want to save anyone.

they just dont understand noir movies.

The thing is, when every game uses a handful of worlds plus some wildcards, you're desperate for something different. Also, it looks cool. Should anything else be taken into account besides that?

Stop everything and listen to the best Disney soundtrack ever.

I'm hoping for something similar in this movie.

So far we have:

We Know the Way
Moana's main song, How Far I'll Go
Moana's mother song
Maui's main song, You're Welcome, which is supposedly a showstopper
A Kakamora song
Tamatoa villain song
Another Moana song, which made everyone in the room start crying
Another Maui song
And a finale song

I'm pretty hype for the music so far.

>doesn't know about unbirthing

16 is still legal lots of places. The giant girl is like 12, which is still legal in some places but not in a lot of first world countries.

Does WDW have anything Moana related? I'm flying down next week and was hoping there'd be at least something.

Maui's face may be ugly, but you don't have to call it a mug.

The giant bastard has a million tattoos, the girl doesn't even have one.

Because except for WiR (who started the journey of his volition and being shit on was part of it anyway) Disney is currently focusing on female protagonists.
For the male love-interests to be relevant, he's now got to step into the sidekick role.
At least they got it better than Prince Charming and Bucket-head.

I think that's because this is supposed to be from a culture where tattoos actually mean shit. So a 14 year old girl going on her first adventure with no prior accomplishments really shouldn't have any tattoos, whereas the thousand something year old warrior demigod with lots of heroic accomplishments to boast of should be covered in them.

since when water elementals from Heroes IV have anything in common with Disney?

>Gladiformers
It took me a second to realise they were using Gladiators and it wasn't just about happy and content Transformers.

I'm really looking forward to this. I'm pretty sure it'll be fairly funny given that the Rock is in it.

I'm glad that I haven't been hearing anything in regards to Moana. I was seriously concerned that retards would get upset that she's pretty.

I hope this movie does well.

I like the rooster but don't see the point of the pig.

Bucket-Head is great though.

Nothing yet. You're better off going to your local Disney Store if you want Moana merchandise right now. I think we started getting Finding Dory and Zootopia merch about a month before their premieres, so hopefully it'll show up soon.

some successful cartoon show proved that pigs can be good mascots.

"Cuck-mora..."

What did Maui mean by this?

Maybe while they're still tiny and cute, but I'd love to see more shows with full grown adult pigs fucking shit up.

They're kinda cute.

This sounds really pretty. When does the soundtrack come out?

A few days before the premiere

>saved

i thought samoans went comando?
